What we tried to do was one of the most noble acts any people can do for others. Just because those we helped were too stupid to appreciate it does not make the idea bad. Bush should be applauded as one of the true humanitarians out there, he deserves the reputation that Carter undeservedly has --- but he will never get it. Too many people have too much hate. We need to kill all of them. Sunnis, Shiites --- none of them are worth anything to me any longer. Hell, they planted a bomb in a pigeon cage to kill shoppers at a pet store. How fucking sick a religion do you have to subscribe to for this to be viewed as anything but evil? Seal the borders and let the chimps slaughter one another en masse. I'm sorry, this was too funny to pass up. I'm sure Mike is actually a nice guy (which he is, judging by most posts outside of Current Events) but this was Slapnuts-level of Republican hilarity. Maybe I'll post more of these. The Pit is awesome.

Well, there's Invader3k, but he's turned on Bush when it comes to Iraq. There was JustPassinBy, but he was obviously a gimmick, and has been banned. Marney can be found on the chat, but she's never going to post here again. I'm sure there's others, but none of them are at MikeSC/Slapnuts/LessoninMachismo levels.

Remember, I originally founded the damn place just because I thought that banning people from a message board was stupid. Not for any political reasons, that all happened as a coincedental side effect. (Personally, like Invader, I have very little confidence in the vast majority of all politicians regardless of which side they're on.)

Me with the coding and Czech with the designing. You would think they'd want nothing to do with that skin or set-up just to distance themselves from us further, but they keep it.

Oh I was, a LOT, but, hell, I've had people who I was a lot closer with do shit to me that was a lot worse since then, so between that and the classic "time heals all wounds" my apathy has pretty firmly settled in. As for Czech, I've never had a problem with him. I don't know why he has such a problem with the Pit. I keep the green design he made because I think it looks cool and it makes the board look different from all the other cookie-cutter Invisionboards.

Of course, it's mostly a figurehead deal, IllustriousOne does all the tech work and provides the server space. But I tell all the hot Pit groupies that I'm the power behind the throne. There's some strikingly eerie parallels drawn between that film and the setting it represents compared to the current war/occupation in Iraq, and it should be required viewing for the MikeSCs of the world.
