This is my first week with Sunday Ticket in HD. The wife is leaving the house all day. I'm a bit excited.

It's in HD? :D This is my first week with Sunday Ticket, but my HD service won't start until Monday, and I'm already at Marvin levels of excitement.

Not all the games are in HD :( But I do get NE/NYJ, DEN/BUF, and PHI/GB in HD early.

McNabb wakes the F up with a sick pass to Kevin Curtis!

END OF 1st QUARTER

Packers 10, Eagles 0. Eagles on the Packer 5.

Observations:

Lots of whistles.

Brett Favre looks pretty good, his idiot receiver messed up and he got picked, threw some good balls and escaped the pocket well.

McNabb looked bad 1st quarter, threw an awful INT, but got better towards the end.

Greg Lewis, shaken up earlier, is a dope and forgot to signal for a fair catch, gets tackled and costs the team 7 points botching the punt catch.

Sal Rocca has had several mediocre punts.

Westbrook w/ 40 yards rushing 24 yards receiving.

Green Bay defense looks GREAT.

The announcer just said...

"LJ Shit...LJ Smith in motion."

Prediction: Sal Rocca fucks up a hold in an important field goal this year, causing the Eagles to lose.

Packers 10, Eagles 3 - 2nd quarter.

Yeah, Eagles immediately exploited the weakened Packer corner situation with "Predator Hair" Al Harris out. He sucks, btw. It's just that the Eagles receivers aren't exactly great, so he held them in check.

I think you may just be remembering him from his days in Philly, UTSU. Harris is one of the NFL's more underrated corners, he doesn't have speed but he can tackle very well and usually shuts down whatever receiver he's on, unless they're very fast.

Kennison's out for KC.

First play goes to him, winds up hurting his right hamstring and hobbles out of bounds.

KC misses a field goal early on.

Houston punts, recovers a fumble but only gets a FG.

Schaub hits Johnson for a nice TD pass to put Houston up 10-0 with less than 4 ta go in the 2nd.

Eagles tie it 10-10 with Packers, who look dead now and have done little offensively. 2nd quarter.

Packers offense is non-existant. Eagles are getting it rolling, McNabb looks much better now. Pack got their points off of a punt fumble that rolled into the endzone (7) and a bad INT that set them up in FG position (3). Nice field goal tho of 53 yards.

So, I still think drafting Justin Harrell over Greg Olsen was a huge mistake. Bubba Franks is ass. We need Greg Jennings healthy on offense, too.

Nice to see that Jeff Triplett is still earning that title of Worst Referee in the League. What the hell was that "illegal touching of the ball within 5 yards" call on that punt?

Motivated, Willing To Play Randy Moss is going to be fun as hell to watch.

Really intriguing game between Buffalo and Denver right now. Two QB's expected to make the leap playing against defenses that are solid. Denver looks much quicker and their O-line looks better as well. Buffalo's Special Teams is keeping them alive, but I'm not disappointed with Losman and Co. Their RB and QB are showing flashes of brilliance among the mediocrity, and I think this is a case "we're ahead but we don't deserve to be", which in general has the team ahead play to their potential and pull away in the second half. Penalties are hurting Denver more but they also cost Buffalo a potential FG at the end of the half there. Their playcalling is kind of weird but Denver is not giving them any room and is forcing them to make short plays which is why Losman has like nine completions for sixty yards.

New England vs. The Jets is great too, but that goes without saying.

108 Yard kickoff return to start the 2nd half for the Pats :)

Talk about HUGE risk = HUGE reward. Guy was near the back of the endzone and I was yelling at my TV seeing him running out of it. Could have been real ugly if he got taken down at the 10 or so where someone missed a tackle.
