LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 This board hasn't been as jumping since Steviekick's Super Hero Clash of the Titans, so I figured I would start a tournament for the Villain of Villains. I have a set number of bracket spots, so I will cut off after that number and then randomly bracket them. Start your nominations, I'll throw a few out: Joker Riddler Gorilla Grodd Sabertooth Arcade Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) Sinestro Dr. Light
Brett Favre Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 Blackheart Mephisto Galactus Mr. Sinister Apocalypse Two Face Carnage
Steviekick Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Darkseid (anyone who would devote his life to learning how to use something called the anti-life equation is pretty fucked) Kingpin Loki Lex Luthor
tbondrage99 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Dr. Doom Bullseye Electro Deadshot Captain Cold Venom (Eddie Brock) Bizzaro The Governor, Sure he'll be out in the first round but anyone who reads The Walking Dead knows what I'm talking about.
Vampiro69 Posted September 15, 2007 Report Posted September 15, 2007 Thanos Brainiac Zoom Weather Wizard Mr. Myxlplyx General Zod Ra's Al Ghul and my personal favorite Per Degaton
Blade2kxx Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 What, no mentions for Black Adam or Superboy Prime yet? Black Adam Superboy-Prime Anti-Monitor Onslaught Venom (Mac Gargan) Abomination Parallax Sinestro Evil Ash Magneto
Vampiro69 Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 I wasn't sure if we were counting Black Adam as a villian, so that is why I didn't mention him. Superboy-Prime was on the list but he punched a wall and erased his name from the list.
Steviekick Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 I think we included Black Adam in the hero tourney.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted September 17, 2007 Author Report Posted September 17, 2007 Black Adam was really blurring the lines, but I have no problem throwing him in the villain tournament. We will still need quite a few more names, so anyone who wants to keep adding, feel free. Also, in terms of Iron Man, is there a certain time period you wanted to include him for? Cause I know a lot of people considered him the villain of Civil War, so it you want to say Iron Man (Civil War era), we can take a look and throw him in if we need more names before nominations end.
Nighthawk Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 I oughta post more in this folder. Adrian Veidt (he was good and evil at the same time... that's hard to write) Shuma Gorath (he wasn't written all too well, but there was such potential) Mephistopheles Galactus Brainiac Thanos Electro (he's underrated) Quite honestly I consider it a three way tie between Dr. Doom, Magneto and the Joker, though.
Vampiro69 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Violator (yes we have an Image villian!) Vandal Savage (He is immortal after all) Jigsaw Deathstroke the Terminator (surprised nobody mentioned him yet) Taskmaster Alexander Luthor Captain Nazi (He is a Nazi!! He must be evil!)
tbondrage99 Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Metallo Ultron Omni-Man Juggernaut (He shouldn't be a good guy!) Quicklsilver Dr. Octopus The Sandman Mystique Scarecrow Ras Al Ghul Angstorm Levy
haws bah gawd Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 If this guy can't beat you, it doesn't deter him. No sir~! He'll hop in his time machine, go back to the BC's and try to take out your Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather. That's dedication.
pochorenella Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Just give the nod to DOOM. Nobody rivals Doom! Nobody! Doom is supreme!
HarleyQuinn Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 Black Mask just for being sick... Here's my reasoning: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Superdickery_Fo...=3473&st=25 2nd post down
Nighthawk Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 I actually found the Black Mask situation with Stephanie Brown even worse in some ways. But yes, he's quite good. He did some really out there stuff during No Man's Land as well.
Vampiro69 Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Star Sapphire Cheetah Gorrila Grodd Mordru Solomon Grundy Despero Johnny Sorrow
The Buzz Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 Everyone has pretty much taken all of the good ones, but I have to say Doomsday for one reason. Anyone who can kill Superman, even if only temporarily is a badass villian.
Lil' Bitch Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Apocalypse Bane Blackheart Braniac Doomsday Dr. Doom The Joker Lex Luthor Magneto Stryfe Shuma-Gorath Thanos Venom
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted October 4, 2007 Author Report Posted October 4, 2007 Alright, so I just counted the total nominations so far. We have 78. Fair bracketing would break at 64 or 128. So should toss 50 more names in there, or reduce the list a little?
pochorenella Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 I say cut the fat. There's at least a couple of names nominated that I could do without.
Brett Favre Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 We should reduce. Take the first 64 mentioned.
Mad Scientist Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 For my money, it's a dead heat between the following three villains: Doctor Doom Lex Luthor The Joker
Anakin Flair Posted October 18, 2007 Report Posted October 18, 2007 Joker Darkseid Mr. Sinister Lex Luthor Apocalypse Doctor Doom Bane Braniac Superboy Prime
