Because he was a fucking loser and anyone knows that your stupid asses will keep repeating his name and giving him his fame. Being famous and infamous go hand and hand now. Be nice if next time one of these little shits did this they just mentioned the victims and ignored the killer's name completely. Treat them like the worthless sack they are and stop analyzing why they did it when THEY TELL YOU WHY! Don't give losers fame and maybe more of them will just swallow the barrel listening to Blue October instead of waltzing into a public place so their worthless existence can have meaning.
