EVIL~! alkeiper 0 Report post Posted November 10, 2008 You could also add Hart Foundation vs. The Rockers and British Bulldog vs. Shawn Michaels to that list. I know they've just been released recently on DVD, but we'll see them again. They could run the first Harts/Rockers match from April, that ran about ten minutes. zappafrank 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Here's the match listing for WWE's upcoming 3-disc Starrcade DVD. [highspots.com] [snip] I'll repeat what I said in my original post about this: As someone else mentioned, hopefully the website bits will be extras on the DVD. Given that I've been recording the 24/7, I'm not going to be in a hurry to pick this up, esp. since it's coming out AFTER Christmas. Boy, did WWE mess up or what, with having it come out after the holidays AND giving it away on 24/7?!
luke-o 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Starrcade December 17, 2000 - Ladder Match for a Contract for the World Cruiserweight Championship 3 Count vs. Jamie Knoble & Evan Karagias vs. Jung Dragons What a cop out. This on the Ladder Match DVD. Boo-urns.

DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 Okay, I'll ask. Why is it not in chronological order? It's in "Top 25" order as per WWE.com votes.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 I'm hoping for the Starcade 97 main with Sting/Hogan they at least include Sting's entire entrance. That was the best part of all that.
heyguesswhatidid 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2008 I picked up the Eddie Guerrero 7 disc at Best Buy, the Raw tribute is inside the new 3 disc DVD and the other 2 DVD's (cheating Death and NWO 2004) are in their original cases.
Anakin Flair 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 I picked that up as well. I forgot how emotional the Raw was.

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 Okay, I'll ask. Why is it not in chronological order? It's in "Top 25" order as per WWE.com votes. Ah, okay. So that means Flair/Vader won? How the hell did that happen?
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 By being awesome? Also most of the votes came from the kids at TSM's 24/7 table (maybe).
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2008 By being awesome? Also most of the votes came from the kids at TSM's 24/7 table (maybe). I've heard only good things, it just seems odd for Vader to be winning a vote like that considering he was never a huge star in WWE and has never really been referred to as one by anything other than, for the lack of a better term, 'smart wrestling fans'. Certainly not complaining though.
heyguesswhatidid 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 - WWE Home Video will be releasing a 3-pack DVD set entitled WWE: The Legends of Wrestling on January 27th 2009. The DVD set will be a collection of the popular Legend's Roundtable, which airs on WWE 24/7. Here is the official description of the DVD: "Ric Flair, Lex Luger, Jerry "The King" Lawler & Junk Yard Dog are just a few of the biggest names in the history of sports-entertainment, a who's who of professional wrestling immortality. In one of the most popular shows on WWE's on demand channel, panels that include WWE Hall of Famers Jim Ross and Dusty Rhodes discuss the life and times of these legends. These shows have never been available on DVD - until now! Fans can now enjoy these panel discussions along with bonus matches featuring the best of the highlighted superstars." [Credit: PWinsider.com] Should be awesome, especially because it has bonus matches.
King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 Well that's awesome if they're released over here, since we don't get 24/7.

Seriously, though, I'm glad they went ahead and put these in a DVD package... especially for those not getting 24/7. The Andre the Giant/Iron Sheik episode alone is worth the price of the set. The Buzz 0 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 I'm hoping this becomes a series of dvds. If ECW can see two reunion shows, a ppv, and three best of dvds then maybe it can happen.

The Buzz 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 WWE Shopzone has a decent discount on some older dvds as compared to what you'd find them in the stores. I was wondering if any of these 2006 dvds are worth picking up? 2006 I pretty much only picked up a select few dvds of 2006. I've tried to collect every individual show of ROH, TNA, WWE on dvd along with bio and historical dvds. But in interest of saving money, would I be missing out on much if I skip these? Backlash December to Dismember Armageddon Survivor Series Cyber Sunday No Mercy New Years Revolution Unforgiven. Hell for good measure how about the tenth anniversary raw dvd, stone cold truth, and undertaker he buries them alive? I have the 15th anniversary raw dvd, undertakers 3 disc best of from a year or two ago, and the new stone cold dvd.

DerangedHermit 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 December to Dismember was probably the best PPV outside of WM 17. It was so awesome that they never did another ECW-only PPV again, knowing they couldn't top that,
10 Pounds 0 Report post Posted November 21, 2008 The best part of December to Dismember was seeing two dudes totally marking out and high-fiving each other for Sandman's music.
