LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Yep, it's setting in. This was the preferable alternative. I'm gonna stick my head in an oven.

I expect ads in the future depicting the Manning bros holding up their rings out like they're summoning Captain Planet

I would buy whatever product that commercial is for. Probably two, actually.

Agreed. Peyton is goofy enough to do it...not sure about Eli though.

NY or Boston fans, either way you were fucked. At least NY and Boston can't meet in the NBA finals....unless the NY Knicks somehow get sent to the Western Conference.

Doesnt New Jersey Nets count as NY?

I'd buy a case of whatever it was.

Seriously, that'd be the best commercial ever.

Yes, they do, but all three teams are in one division, so what are you talking about.

Okay, now I'm trending back toward "the '72 Dolphins and '85 Bears are still #1 and #1A, so hey, neat." I'm on such a rollercoaster.

I hope everyone is happy: this has once again opened the doors of the Hell that is the gloating New York sports fan.

Enjoy.

You guys are worse than they are.

Haha, Leena just told me to do that. My hypothetical-sports-masturbation habits are really the talk of the town.

Come on Czech. After how you've acted this year you should be jacking off all over this thread right now.

victim!

"We're only going to score 17 points?" a surprised Brady said Wednesday. "OK. Is Plax playing defense? I wish he had said 45-42 and gave us a little credit for scoring more points."

QFT.

Since Plax made the guarantee, that just makes this all the more awesome.

Anyone else think that by Week 10 next season people are going to be puzzled as to how the Giants won the Superbowl this season? I don't see this team as a dynasty in the making. They kind of have the feel of the Steelers team that got hot at the right time......

Posted

To be honest, it seemed to me like more analysts picked the Giants than you would think. Many others picked a close New England win.

Posted
so, as the Patriots major upset of the Rams led to the Pats dynasty, will this upset become a similar transition, or are we going back to one-year wonder teams again?

I think the Giants have everything needed to repeat. Unless they are losing a lot of players to free agency, they have everything needed to build a dynasty in the NFL. They have a defense, they have great receivers and even Eli is slowly becoming a damn good quarterback.

The Giants were a fluke.

I bet $5 right now that says they dont even make the playoffs next season.

get the fuck out here and keep your negativity to your fucking self over this asshole

But Plax was WRONG. They didn't score 17. The Giants scored 17. He was only off by 7 on the Giants score so well done, well done indeed there.

Although the quote goes a long way to show why I have hated Tom and will always hate him. Cocky Michigan pricks.

Apparently Plax gave the Pats a bit too MUCH credit scoring 17 points.

Nets are in the East as well.

Nets have a better shot of making the playoffs than the Knicks anytime in the next decade.

THE POINT BROUGHT UP WAS THAT THERE CANNOT BE A BOSTON VS. NEW YORK NBA FINALS BECAUSE ALL THE TEAMS ARE IN ONE CONFERENCE, YOU FUCKING DOUCHEBAG IMBECILE.

God, I needed that.

Fucking bullshit. Tuck had two sacks AND a forced fumble before the half.

No one is going to remember anything that happened in the first 3 quarters which were probably the worst in Super Bowl history.

All the highlight clip shows will be like "we skip ahead to the 4th quarter, trust us, you didnt miss anything"

no, that belongs to your team, Mr. Hyperbole
