Hawk 34 Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Tensions continue to boil on the road to WrestleMania XXIV as WWE Superstars invade the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis next Monday night, for the first Raw of March. With his WrestleMania showdown with WBC Welterweight Champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather just weeks away, Big Show is preparing for the high profile matchup. Show will take on a boxer in an exhibition where he will aim to send “Money” – and the world – a message. How will Mayweather react to Big Show’s big statement? (Watch the video preview) John Cena was laid out by Mr. Kennedy’s Mic Check at the end of Raw as Triple H looked on. The Game made no effort to save the Chain Gang Commander, despite their successfully working together to defeat WWE Champion Randy Orton and Kennedy in tag action. Will Cena look for retribution against The Game with their Triple Threat WWE Title Match with Randy Orton five weeks away? And how will the Legend Killer try to protect himself as his title is pursued aggressively by two former WWE Champions? Also, JBL dropped a bombshell on the WWE Chairman, announcing that Hornswoggle was NOT his bastard son, and that the lively leprechaun was, in fact, the son of his protector, Finlay. Will the self-made millionaire provide the documentation that Mr. McMahon demanded to settle this chaotic family affair once and for all? And will JBL make Finlay reveal the truth about Hornswoggle, as he promised? The “Nature Boy” and The Showstopper will cross paths at WrestleMania, as WWE Class of 2008 Hall of Famer Ric Flair puts his career on the line to challenge Shawn Michaels at the Grand Daddy of Them All. As WrestleMania approaches, will this matchup of mutual respect change its tune? The field for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXIV continues to grow, as Chris Jericho qualified on Raw for a chance at a guaranteed contract for a title match against any world champion. Who else will joinY2J, Jeff Hardy, Shelton Benjamin and Mr. Kennedy? Also announced on Raw, Playboy’s current and past WWE cover models will battle two former WWE Women’s Champions at WrestleMania, as Candice & Maria team up against Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix & Melina in the first-ever BunnyMania. Will the Glamazon look to wear down her competition as the weeks to their match tick down? Meanwhile, the lovely Maria will unveil her Playboy cover on Raw ... and men everywhere will be drooling. But how will Santino Marella and perhaps Beth Phoenix and Melina react to all this?

Matt Young Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 For the first time, well, ever, I'm hoping Raw's "main event" is an interview or WrestleMania hype segment. Raw goes from 6-8:07 here, and the 2 hour Sarah Connor Chronicles finale starts at 8.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 That's really what Jericho needs to restore momentum, bringing back his heel talk show segment.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 I hope the Obsenely Expensive Jeritron 5000 is upgraded to HD

Drury37 Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Triple H controlling what happens on Raw, well this should be no sweat for him.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Triple H controlling what happens on Raw, well this should be no sweat for him. Art imitates life.

Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 TBS has an "MMA" match? I thought it was a "boxing" match? Wait, the preview says taking on a boxer in an exhibition, so I guess they weren't totally off the mark. TBS is fighting a midget?
Cowboy Battlenuts Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Let's really sell this by having Big Show clobber this guy with shoot punches.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Dont know if its the same guy or not.. Brandon Hill - Student of the month in September 2007 at American Martial Arts and Fitness Hes got an orange belt..
randomguy Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 I like the new Raw theme music. It's new to me anyway... Edit: This Show/Mayweather promo is terrible. What the hell are they saying?
JPopStarKami Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Wow, that was lame. A glorified squash.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Im betting they put a mat down for Brandon Hill..
UZI Suicide Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 For all the money they're paying him, they couldn't fly him out for RAW?
The Amazing Rando Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 This is really random. Floyd trying to be all pretaped and cue card cocky as Show just throws motherfuckers around.
The Robfather Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Get the private jet ready... oh brother. Not feeling it, honestly.
A Happy Medium Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Wow. That exchange between Show and Mayweather was awful.
devo Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 I dunno. Could be a satisfying angle if Show ends up on top. Don't see that happening, though.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 HBK/Flair should be a double career threatening match..
Brocklock Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Brandon Hill did bump like a madman there though. He did a Rock stunner sell for the big boot.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Mick Foley's looking at his TV going "Damn, kid, use your head!" at Brandon.
Hawk 34 Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 HBK/Flair should be a double career threatening match.. That'll work. Keeping it as a career threatening match for Flair keeps the slight chance that Flair wins alive while every fan knows Shawn isn't leaving.
The Truthiness Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 I really hope Shawn kicks the shit out of Flair.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 What the hell is Murdoch wearing? Looks like a robe that Demolition would wear.
