I don't think he'll get back to me, so I'll grab my back up center here.

This run on coaches is really making me regret not taking Don Nelson earlier. Maybe I should've taken Mookie then Don instead of Steve Kerr. But then again, I needed a clutch player besides Reggie.

alright.. didn't know if you were being sarcastic or not.

Pick will be forthcoming while I watch the Champions League final.

Shoot, Van Lier is a better pick at this point than some I've seen. Very quality defender.

meh, I guess sarcastic was a poor choice of words. The post just came off as a blow off comment to me more than him actually making his pick.. my bad.

I just wanted to chime in with some late love on the Ray Richardson pick. I actually thought about him back when I took Robertson, and he almost definitely would have been one of my next two picks.

I'm amazed someone else even remembers him. Good thing I took him since I really wanted him on my team. Plus the next guy I had pigeon-holed is still on the board (although a long way to go to me) so it may work out perfect.

My draft picks...

John Starks

Perfect for my 6th man... Very intense player, and would do great with under Chuck Daly.

Larry Johnson aka Grandmama

In his prime he was All-Star level in Charlotte, and reunites with Alonzo Mourning whom he played side by side with, and in heat battle against(Knicks/Heat rivalry), he would be a good back up for Garnett or Alonzo when needed rest.

I'm gonna go with someone who was a force in the early days of the game before a career ending knee injury.

Neil Johnston

Johnston is a good pick, though I passed on him because so far everybody appears to be biased towards the nineties and 21st century, as a disproportionate amount of picks have come from that era. Hell, we still have a couple top 50 players left to pick.

I think you'll be okay. Right now we are hitting role players and I know that I'm just thinking of people who might be a one or two time All-Star that fit with the rest of my guys. And most of that's going to come from guys you remember see play.

Some of the "guys taht are good right now" picks kinda surprise me since they seem to be "prospect picks" to an extent.

I'm wondering how people are going to look at my team, given that I only have one player who began his career after 1980, let alone 1990.

You have one of my favorite teams actually.

Ditto. Unlike some of the teams, I can actually see CC's team working together and envision them being great.
