Mr. S£im Citrus Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Canceled ABC: Men in Trees, Big Shots, Carpoolers, Cavemen, October Road, Women's Murder Club, TBD FUCK!
Atticus Chaos Posted May 13, 2008 Author Report Posted May 13, 2008 Every show stacy keibler is in gets cancelled (what about brian, George lopez, Octover road). The woman is cursed.
jimmy no nose Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I'm glad the CW decided to bring back Reaper. A couple weeks ago it looked like it was for sure going to be cancelled. I'm also pretty surprised that How I Met Your Mother is still listed as in limbo. I thought it had been doing fairly well recently. I don't watch too many shows these days, and luckily none that I enjoy have officially been cancelled. None of the new shows sound that interesting from what I've seen except hopefully that Office spin-off.
Atticus Chaos Posted May 13, 2008 Author Report Posted May 13, 2008 This time next year we'll probably see Dollhouse on the 'cancelled' list. And then Joss Whedon will remember why he vowed to never work with fox again after firefly.
JHawk Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Every show stacy keibler is in gets cancelled (what about brian, George lopez, Octover road). The woman is cursed. You can't hold George Lopez against her since it sucked anyway.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Every show stacy keibler is in gets cancelled (what about brian, George lopez, Octover road). The woman is cursed. And I'm one of the minority here that's always hated Keibler; I even had an anti-Keibler avatar for a little while... you're not making me feel any better...

If its any consolation her post wwe career has been a disaster and she's now reduced to paying to get into all the pr events in the hopes some producer will notice her. Seriously, if she'd stuck with wwe at least she'd still have a regular wage and be on tv every week.
Guest Smues Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Huzzah Law & Order is back, but Shark is on the bubble? What the fuck?
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I still can't believe the Cleveland Family Guy spin-off is real, let alone starting in the fall.
Gary Floyd Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Returning The CW: Reaper, America's Next Top Model, Everybody Hates Chris, The Game, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Supernatural, TBD YES!
starvenger Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I still can't believe the Cleveland Family Guy spin-off is real, let alone starting in the fall. Why can't you believe it? Fox will broadcast just about anything...

Fox will broadcast just about anything... Is Cleveland really a popular enough character to have his own show? This would be like Friends doing a Ross spinoff.
Mecha Mummy Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Reaper surviving is all I needed to know, as now all of the shows I watch (Chuck, Reaper, The Office, Pushing Daisies) are coming back next season. Good news, good news.

DrVenkman PhD Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I never watched it but somehow I thought Back To You was doing ok.
Hawk 34 Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I knew it wasn't going to survive but I'm disappointed that New Amsterdam was axed. Meanwhile that horrendous ABC Friday line up remains intact.
dubq Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I'm glad Eli Stone is picked up for another season. Johnny Lee Miller is fucking awesome.
bob_barron Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Shark was cancelled. It never recovered from the strike, which is looking more and more stupid for the writers by the day. Back to You was doing fine, but it cost too much for FOX. I would think another network should pick it up, but they probably won't. Shark is another show that another network should pick up. The strike just wrecked everything
Slayer Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 I still can't believe the Cleveland Family Guy spin-off is real, let alone starting in the fall. Why can't you believe it? Fox will broadcast just about anything... and then cancel it just as quickly
Guest Smues Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Shark was cancelled. It never recovered from the strike, which is looking more and more stupid for the writers by the day. Shark is another show that another network should pick up. The strike just wrecked everything Oh MOTHER FUCKER. Two shows I watch and one of them gets canned because the writers got greedy. I kind of figured it was fucked when they moved from Sunday to Tuesday.
Exslade ZX Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Bastards, I actually didn't hate the Bionic Woman remake. It was a decent enough show. Good to see Pushing Daisies finally making it's return though. I almost thought it wouldn't come back after the writer's strike, which would be horrible as the last few episodes left a couple of cliff hanger type deals..
Atticus Chaos Posted May 13, 2008 Author Report Posted May 13, 2008 Considering who was on the team, Bionic woman should have been way better. The pilot script was crap and a bland lead actress didn't help.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Jericho got canceled. CBS must have gotten hungry again. You'd think with all the shows being canceled and then being replaced, they would do a better job green lighting shows.
bob_barron Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 That's how network TV always is. Most shows don't last a season. Shark is a victim of CBS being an idiot. They put it on after CSI and it does fine, and then swapped it with Without a Trace for no reason other than the producers of Trace hated Sunday. Then once the strike ends, they just bring it back uncerimously and dump it on Tuesday. A struggling network like NBC could do worse than to pick up Shark
Cartman Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Oh thank GOD Reaper is sticking around. Alongside Chuck and FNL i'm very happy
bob_barron Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 While it had no chance of renewal, Miss Guided is another show that the strike Fed over. I hope the writers are happy with their internet downloads, given how many are out of work.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Fuck CBS for cancelling Shark. There's always got to be a network that I damn to Hell for cancelling a show I love to watch, and it looks like this year it's them. I hope Eli Stone tones down (or better yet eliminates) the political rhetoric they throw in to every show. Every week I sit down to enjoy it (I like everyone on the cast, and while the plots are, well, you know how they are they're still OK) and every week they throw out some asinine and unneccessary jab at Republicans and/or conservatives. It's tired and annoying.
