Guest !!! Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Hope you like Dbags-Red Sox and another crosstown game! The Brewers are turning up the heat. The Twins are surging. The Mets still don't impress me. The Angels are quietly playing .600 ball. The A's are hanging tough, which I did not expect them to do given the rebuilding talk. The Rangers would be fucking disgusting without Josh Hamilton, I'm pretty sure. The Blue Jays are getting to be so bad, it's fun. The Orioles are way better than any of us with hair on our balls thought they would be. The Pirates aren't 20 games under yet, which is a feel-good story. And best of all, I think we're through with interleague at the end of the week.

EVIL~! alkeiper Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Phillies/A's this week. Given the last week, I'd really prefer to see them get a shot to beat up the Nationals instead. They need to break this five game losing streak.
Guest !!! Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Enough with the crosstown games being national. The rest of the country can't possibly care. Keep all six games on WGN and let everyone else watch the Red Sox every damn day, the way it ought to be.
Smartly Pretty Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Quiet you. Your team's games are broadcast everywhere in the country. I need these nationally televised games!
Montresor Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 So is America watching all these Red Sox games? Holy shit, fuck that team.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted June 23, 2008 Report Posted June 23, 2008 Rays' prospect David Price is headed to AA. In six Florida State League starts, Price compiled a 4-0 record, 37 K's, 7 walks in 34.2 innings. Price has yet to surrender a home run in his professional career.
jwest27 Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Haha, holy shit. Felix Hernandez, in his first AB of the year, hit a grand slam off of Johan Santana. Baseball is a funny game sometimes.
the max Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Youkilis hit in the eye with a practice throw from Mike Lowell. Immediate shiner, removed from the game. Sean Casey dropped his appeal and began his suspension for whatever he did in the brawl against the Rays on june 5. Your Red Sox first baseman...Brendan Moss. A backup outfielder with very limited first base experience. Baseball is a funny game sometimes II.
Bruiser Chong Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Jerry Manuel has really righted the ship. Just keepin' it gangsta.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Youkilis hit in the eye with a practice throw from Mike Lowell. Immediate shiner, removed from the game. That happened to me before a JV baseball in 9th grade.
KingPK Posted June 24, 2008 Report Posted June 24, 2008 Holy shit, Jerry Remy's daughter is fucking HOT!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 he he.. Cubs/Orioles from Wrigley in beautiful HD. Didnt know the Cubs have won 14 straight at Wrigley..but anyway.
NYU Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Mets down 10-0 to the Mariners in the bottom of the sixth. And they've only mustered together one hit so far. I'm standing on the ledge here.
strummer Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 The NL East is turning into quite the shitty division. Not as bad as the NL West but shitty nonetheless.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Os are actually scoring some runs for Guts, how nice..
Bruiser Chong Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I'd hope so against the likes of Sean Marshall.
Failed Bridge Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 The Rangers would be fucking disgusting without Josh Hamilton, I'm pretty sure. well he just left with an injury so you may find out how right you are
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 http://www.minnpost.com/markneuzil/2008/06...layed_in_secret
Bruiser Chong Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Cubs bullpen isn't that good. 1) You've seen their middle relief, almost always the weakest part of any ballclub. 2) Said middle relief hasn't given up any earned runs.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Theres no flood outs in baseball! Lets see if the Sheriff can get 3 more outs..
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 Sherill was just toying with em lol.. 3 straight ks after loading the bases. Os win! flat breezy time!
Bruiser Chong Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I can't feel too bad about the Cubs losing a game by two runs when they were down five late and had a AAA pitcher starting for them. And Henry Blanco as their last hope.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 The Os needed this win tonight because Im concerned about Buress and Liz pitching the next two games, Liz especially since the talk is the writing is on the wall with him being 1 more bad start away from out of the rotation..
Bruiser Chong Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 You should be. At a glance, these are two pitchers this year's Cubs just eat alive.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 http://www.minnpost.com/markneuzil/2008/06...layed_in_secret Pacific Coast League commissioner Branch Rickey told the local paper that he did not remember a game played when fans were not allowed in except once as a publicity stunt. Their commissioner has been dead for 43 years.
CanadianGuitarist Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I hate to be perpetually negative about the Jays, but they are not " back", regardless of such insistance by Rob Black. Still, 14 runs and 22 hits. Coooooool.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 That's 8 more runs than the Yankees could muster against them in 3 games. And 2 more than what the Pirates hung on them tonight.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 25, 2008 Report Posted June 25, 2008 I cant sleep now..so.. Shatterproof African Bats Vanity Fair of all places with a timely article on the maple bat shattering issue..
