Chazz Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Whoemever was writing the four or shows after Vince was written off, is not the same person writing now. I think Steph is back. What has happened on the show so far would support that theory. Blah.
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 It's probably a Vince McMahon announcement. Haven't heard anything about him for awhile.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Mike Adamle has been promoted to President of WWE and Todd Grisham will take over as RAW general manager.
JHawk Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 ...Why would you stop the match before a three count? I think JBL lifted the shoulder to continue the punishment, and the ref said 'fuck it'. Except: A.) JBL didn't lift the shoulder, and B.) WWE precedent is always to disqualify the heel for doing that
The Truthiness Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Your sarcasm would be justified if CM Punk was actually a big deal. Oh, no, I'm with you. Punk and even Triple H are getting buried as champions. Hell, neither mainevented last night and neither have even been the main focus on their shows the past month. They're being set up to fail, I tell you.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 The World Heavyweight Championship is now the Hardcore Championship.
Exslade ZX Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 It is kinda sad how many title reigns some people have nowadays. Mickie is already a four (and more than likely eventually five) time champ. I know it's a little different since they have only one belt they can really win (Chyna aside) but even Jericho is like an 8 time IC champ and some guys have numerous tag title reigns (some with completely different partners). And you were saying what, about too many title reigns?
Anakin Flair Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 It's like the hardcore match at Wrestlemania a few years ago. Could be fun
franchise632 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 That is the gayest thing I have ever heard
Prophet of Mike Zagurski Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 It's the Wrestlemania 2000 Hardcore Battle Royal all over again.
Anakin Flair Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 oh, goody. Despite being beaten twice in a title match, JBL gets another shot.
Thanks for the Fish Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 What a ridiculous concept match. Why not have a reverse battle royale?
The Truthiness Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 That was a nice way to bring in Cena.
cd213 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Oh boy, now a "let's steal the titles" story.
Thanks for the Fish Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 So CM Punk isn't even going to get mic time? Yeah, but I'm being paranoid. He couldn't even interrupt Jericho to start the night to set-up the match?
Wally Balls Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Your sarcasm would be justified if CM Punk was actually a big deal. Oh, no, I'm with you. Punk and even Triple H are getting buried as champions. Hell, neither mainevented last night and neither have even been the main focus on their shows the past month. They're being set up to fail, I tell you. You have me all wrong man, I don't care about Punk. He's not getting buried and I wouldn't care if he was. I just said he's not important because A. A lot of people really don't care about him that much. And B. His reign is like Big Shows was when he was feuding with Bossman. Overshadowed by more entertaining things. And look at the pop Cena got...Wrestling fans are so fucking fickle it makes me sick.
BigPoppaKev Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 What is this TNA? what an awful concept. Just lazy lazy booking throwing together 5 guys instead of actually building up any sort of feuds.
The Amazing Rando Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I doubt any pins that happen during the Scramble will count toward an "overall" count. I think it'll only matter if someone other than Punk wins.
slimm44 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 oh, goody. Despite being beaten twice in a title match, JBL gets another shot. Cena and Batista have also lost more than their fair share this year as well.
Ravenbomb Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Why is Kane still the big red monster? He only wears the pants and they're mostly black.
Enigma Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I doubt any pins that happen during the Scramble will count toward an "overall" count. I think it'll only matter if someone other than Punk wins. That's why Adamle said, "Whoever is the champion when the time expires will be officially recognized as the World Heavyweight Champion."
MFer Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Hey, maybe Kane can now raise his World Title reign length to over a full day now. EDIT: Or not, unless he has the title at the end.
franchise632 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 My wife looked at the TV and says "of course they make the black people steal stuff"
The Truthiness Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 If the title didn't change hands during the match, that would be an awesome concept. If Punk can keep the title the whole 20 minutes, it will be a huge success, but he won't.
