NFL Week 2

I don't really have a huge interest in who wins this game since neither one benefits the Packers in a huge way, but that PI call against the dude covering Greg Lewis was some BULLSHIT.

Felix Jones is looking like the new Devin Hester in this game. Yikes.

Romo totally crumbling on the big stage is really swell.

Wow, that Felix Jones is a motherfucker, ain't he?

Jackson catches a 60-some yard TD, but it appears that he just threw the ball before he crossed the goal line. Luckily for him the play was ruled a TD and I think the worst that can happen is they get the ball somewhere inside the 5 where he threw the ball.

Oh man. Even though I want the Eagles to win this game I'm hoping and praying that he didn't break the plane. I would die laughing.

We'll be seeing that play for a while.

And now Dallas just let a holding call negate another big bomb to Owens.

As much as I hate the Cowboys and have a general indifference towards Philadelphia (I do like McNabb a bit, though), this has been an entertaining game so far.

If the Eagles would just cover Owens or Whitten down field they might be running away with this game right now.

I hope the Eagles get some pressure on Romo in the second half and force him to keep fucking up. McNabb is back though. Awesome runs.

A big thank you to DeSean Jackson. My fantasy football team owes you a debt of gratitude as you unselfishly handed over your TD to Brian Westbrook.

The only fantasy comment I'll make all year: I had DeSean, my opponent has Westbrook. Priceless.

This game has been pretty absurd. Despite all the points, neither team looks very good. Should make for a fairly fun year in the NFC East, though.

Where the hell are the secondary players? If a team spent a few seasons worth of high drafts on talented athletic cornerbacks and a safety, they could seemingly contend, am I wrong?

As a Giants fan, this game is making me fearful, unless this is a tale of two bad defenses instead of two explosive offenses. With all these weapons on both sides, however (not to mention Philly's final score last week), I think it's a case of the later.

At this stage of the game, they should know that it's going to be pass-heavy. The pass rush and secondary play isn't reflecting this. Poor coverage. The angle taken by Brian Dawkins on that Witten catch that put them in the redzone was just pathetic. There's no way a TE should be able to juke a safety in a play over the middle like that.

The way #5 strolled onto the field, I thought McNabb disappeared as suddenly as he showed up this season and McChoke that we've been stuck with since late in the final minutes of that one Super Bowl was returning to take snaps. After that series, I think I was right. For such a talented quarterback, he can be so anti-clutch.

Don't even get me started with that play call on 4th down.

That loss is really on the Philadelphia defense giving up big plays on their last drive.

God I hate that fucker Romo, but more than him I hated listening to Kornheiser this entire game.

This fucking sucks. I hate Dallas so much. I think the Eagles will get them in Philly though. And it is only the second game of the season. The division is still Philly's! Until Romo wins a playoff game I'm not betting anything on Dallas.

Yeah well I live in an area that is nothing but Cowboys fans. Now I have to endure a week of hearing how the Cowboys will go to the playoffs. I do a pick 'em contest with my parents, this was the only game I got wrong this weekend. And it stings, but not because it ruined my perfect weekend.

Now we can look forward to more talk about how great Romo is despite the fact he hasn't really done anything except put up good regular season numbers.

I almost thought McNabb was going to pardon the pun, "cowboy up" and win the game . . . but then I remembered it was Donovan McNabb I was watching and knew the game was over as soon as Westbrook coughed it up on that late exchange.

Are you going to argue that Dallas isn't going to make the playoffs?

Who me? No. They'll make the playoffs. The question is if it's wild card or division winner. Let's not forget two years ago a lot of people were crowning them division champs then the Jeff Garcia led Eagles won the division. It's not over yet.
