It seems like they are trying to make this another Apatow movie and with Rogen and Banks in it, it's easy to do. It makes sense. It's basically Kevin Smith doing his own Apatow movie but with some Kevin Smith elements thrown in. The movie's hilarious, and Elizabeth Banks gives a performance that I never knew she had. Smith might have a cult following, but he doesn't bring tons of people to the box office. If you emphaisize it's a Kevin Smith flim, pepole are going to think it's another Jay and Silent Bob film. I saw that too, I was prepared to hate the movie (I'm a Kevin Smith fan, but I hate all the other films I've seen Rogen in except Superbad) but it looks like it might be pretty funny. One thing that struck me about the Leno interview was how much weight Kevin Smith has gained. I mean he was always a big guy, but it looks like he's gained atleast 100 lbs since Clerks 2. He made the right call, the sex scene is a great scene. Seems like they're trying to mask this as an Apatow movie. Smith's name is really not being mentioned at all It because Kevin Smith has a cult following, so they're probably trying to broaden his audience a bit.
