DrVenkman PhD Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Raw celebrates it's 800th episode milestone by presenting a three hour tri-branded broadcast. Matches announced: HHH and Shawn Michaels vs. The Miz and John Morrison Chris Jericho vs. Batista © in a Cage Match for the World Title. Also! Randy Orton challenged the McMahon Siblings to show-up and fire Mike Adamle, threatening to quit World Wrestling Entertainment if they did not. What will happen here!?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Something tells me I'm not going to like the results of this show very much. Do we get the John Cena return tonight at least?
DCH Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 He'll make a *shock* return at SS from what I gather.
DrVenkman PhD Posted November 3, 2008 Author Report Posted November 3, 2008 Well it's the selling point for the PPV, so it won't be that much of a surprise. I suspect after Batista retains the title, Adamle (or Shane or Stephanie or whoever, depending on where that angle is going) will announce Cena vs. Batista for Survivor Series. Alternate plans would involve a no contest to lead to a triple threat, but I think that's what local advertising for Armageddon is promoting. Hopefully they set up some sort of elimination match for Survivor Series tonight. Maybe Jericho/Miz/Morrison/Kane/Henry vs. Shawn/Jeff/Matt/Rey/What would be Bourne but now has to be someone else (Finlay?).
ChrisMWaters Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I hope they don't do Cena/Batista at Survivor Series. That would ruin my Survivor Series Elimination Match idea of: Punk/Kofi/Cena/Cryme Tyme vs. DiBiase/Rhodes/Manu/Morrison/Miz
Dobbs 3K Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I kind of doubt Cena's in-ring return will be in an elimination match. Really not looking forward to DX's eleventy billionth reunion match. It's not like we can't see the outcome of the match a mile away. I'm also wondering what kind of "subtle" endorsements of McCain WWE will do, being the night before the election.

The Amazing Rando Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 It would be great to see Miz/Morrison pull a dastardly upset to DX similiar to what they did to Kofi/Punk a few weeks ago. A clean win, but very underhanded and lucky. Then afterwards they can get Kicked and Pedigreed and I would still be happy cause they won.
The Truthiness Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I don't care how they win, long as it is a pinfall victory. The entire roster could come out and hit their finishers on DX, leading to the victory for Jo Mo/Miz, and I wouldn't give a damn.
MillenniumMan831 Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 For as much as I dig Morrison, I can take-or-leave The Miz at best. If Miz takes the fall, that'd be fine w/ me.
Thanks for the Fish Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 I expect Steph/Shano to book Orton vs Adamle in a match for Survivor Series.
The Niggardly King Posted November 3, 2008 Report Posted November 3, 2008 Man, Morrison/Miz vs DX just feels like Jericho vs Goldberg all over again. HBK and Triple H haven't acknowledged them one bit, and I just hope it doesn't end within 5 minutes with Miz eating the Sweet Chin/Pedigree combo.
DrVenkman PhD Posted November 3, 2008 Author Report Posted November 3, 2008 I expect Steph/Shano to book Orton vs Adamle in a match for Survivor Series. Now that you mention it, I suspect that will be this year's elimination match. Team Adamle vs. Team Orton with GM / WWE careers on the line. Orton/JBL/Manu/Dibiase/Rhodes vs. Cena/Punk/Kofi/JTG/Shad. Yep, writes itself.

TheFranchise Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I really hope the above happens. As long as Punk doesn't job clean.
JHawk Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I really hope the above happens. As long as Punk doesn't job clean. Which he probably will.
foleyfanforever88 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Did King just say there would be a 16-diva tag match?
The Truthiness Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 The beginning of the Orton/Shane feud.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 MVP in a match with the Hardys? I fully expect him to get pinned.
ChrisMWaters Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Aww, I was hoping for a Hurripop when MVP came out.
Broward83 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 ...the fuck is up with Jeff's eyes? Is he summoning the inner-power of Raven or...?
Anakin Flair Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Kendricks rocking a Bret Hart-like jacket. Nice
MillenniumMan831 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 Just in the opening video package, it's obvious that WWE is blatantly catering their programming to the HD audience.
The Truthiness Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 This is the best tag team in the history of WWE, The Hardy's
The Truthiness Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 ...the fuck is up with Jeff's eyes? Is he summoning the inner-power of Raven or...? High?
foleyfanforever88 Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 This the best tag team in the history of WWE, The Hardy's Of the last decade, atleast.
garfieldsnose Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 If Punk jobs clean to Orton, WHY THE FUCK WOULD THAT MATTER? Already bitching about stuff.
Anakin Flair Posted November 4, 2008 Report Posted November 4, 2008 I don't think I've ever seen the face team do that before.
