dubq Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Via puroresufan.com New Japan also announced the first landing of Val Venis, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion, WWE European Champion, WWE Tag Team Champion, among others. He will join GBH as a recruit by his old friend Giant Bernard. Black Tiger also arrives as another new member of GBH, filling the void recently left by Low Ki.
Scroby Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Good for him, but I wonder if he'll be Val Venis or just himself.
Steviekick Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I would assume they would keep him with some sort of sleazy man-whore gimmick.
Boner Kawanger Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Hard Straight versus Hard G-A-Y. BOOK IT! Edit-This word filter is getting in the way of serious pro wrestling discussion, moderators!!!
Steviekick Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Hard Straight versus Hard G-A-Y. BOOK IT! That would be amazing.
Guest Marneywasmurdered Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Man how many members does GBH have now? They're getting nWo size.
Mecha Mummy Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Man how many members does GBH have now? They're getting nWo size. Makabe, Yano, Iizuka, Ishii, Honma, Bernard, Anderson, Jado, Gedo, Black Tiger, and Val Venis. So that would be eleven. Which is pretty huge, but it kind of works for GBH because they're more of just one big mob than a polished wrestling stable. I wish Togi Makabe would win something important as a singles wrestler this year, though, especially after the pure idiocy that is having him take the fall against fucking Team 3D twice.
King Cucaracha Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Well Puro stables tend to be larger anyway, in general, what with the increased number of multi-man tags. Eleven in Japan would be like maybe six in US wrestling. It's like dog years to human years. Sort of.
yankovic fan Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 He's going to be huge in Japan.

That and they actually push their weight divisions so a stable of like 5 heavies, and then the same amount of Juniors isn't outrageous.
Chui Posted February 20, 2009 Report Posted February 20, 2009 What does GBH stand for? Great Bash Heel
tonyjaymzretro Posted February 21, 2009 Report Posted February 21, 2009 He's going to be huge in Japan. heh...
