  1. Any respect I had for Big Mac was gone after watching the testimonies today. Just admit it and come clean.
  2. I still have it on tape...he wrestled Austin in the main event and while it was an OK match (forgetable, however), he cut a promo earlier in the night that made him seem like he was...drunk during the match. After the match, they did the cinderblock angle with the nWo. That's how I mostly remember.
  3. They have presales on HOUSE SHOWS?
  4. And the girls that play Sun and Claire auditioned for Kate.
  5. I agree with you guys. HHH should of had to crawl to the back.

    Big Dave

That's a great story to hear about. Soon to be champion in the ring, and no doubt one out of the ring. This is the type of stuff the media needs to cover...someone should send this into Metzler. Not everything about pro wrestling should be percieved negative when there's a lot of positives.
  7. Watching Raw last night was AMAZING. Watching Michaels and Jennetty come out as the Rockers and acting like it's 1990. That shit was awesome. Good for Marty, man.
  8. I thought the match was fucking awesome. It felt like HHH hit me in the balls as well after that finish, however. Such a dissapointment.
  9. Well, I should of clarifed...it's a really good movie. I saw it a few weeks ago, and like you guys said, a very diverse audience. Really good movie. I just didn't expect it to be THAT big, though I remember seeing it being previewed before movies during the summer.
  10. Rock/Austin is one of them for me as well. I thought it was all crazy talk that people had when they said this match was better than their match at Wrestlemania 15 (which I was a huge fan of), though I never saw Mania 17 live. Once I sat down, got a tape, and watched it...I understood what it was all about, and why it was so special. There's a lot of matches that could probably fit into this thinking about it. As awesome as it was, Rock/Hogan at Wrestlemania 18 is still a pleasure to watch each and everytime I view it. Truly amazing stuff.
  11. Looking at that PDF, why is Vengeance 2002 so fucking high? Makes no sense. Edit: Unless they combined that with KOTR 2002.
  12. Didn't want to make this a spread thread, but figured I would. It just occured to me that tommorow is March 14th, 2005. One year since Wrestlemania 20...hard to believe...I think it's a cool tribute to do this match.
  13. I can't believe Hitch made 150 million dollars.
  14. Reading this thread something came to me... Randy Orton's Heavyweight title reign was the most forgettable reign I think ever. I've never liked Orton in the first place and he's nothing special to this day. Orton beating Taker at Wrestlemania would make his career, but is it actually worth it?
  15. Edge and Christian should join.
  16. They got him.
  17. Vaughn yelling "BIOOOOITCH" on the phone at the end of his converstaion with someone (forgot who) had me dying.
  18. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAH. THAT IS FUCKING GOLD.
  19. Just saw it...not impressive. Travolta just walked around basically getting his paycheck. Vaughn and Andre 3000 were the best in the movie. Way too much bullshit with trying to stuff as many big stars in movie/music/entertainment industry in one movie at once, and it's probably going to backfire just like Ocean's Twelve. And why Rock took this role is beyond me. I agree with Vince, this was a baaaad choice by all means. It did nothing but hurt him (way to early in his career to try to prove he can be a serious actor when everyone wants to see him in action, kick ass movies) and he had such a small role, it was ridlicious. Thumbs down, and Rock better come through in Doom or he can say hello to the WWE come 2006. People left during this movie, by the way. About 10 people at different times got up and left cause this movie was that bad.
  20. $60,000.00 reward now being offered.
  21. Some former NYC police decective just put a $10,000.00 bounty on the capture, dead or alive, of this guy on MSNBC.
  22. And if you watch the Owen Driver '97 (as it's been dubbed), Owen takes none of the bump on his ass. All of the contact goes straight to Austin.
  23. They did the same bullshit with Raw 2. The more they delay it, the more the game sucks.
  24. It's the same thing with JFK. Forgive me for being descriptive and crude, but you literally can see his brains blown out when he's shot, yet he wasn't pronounced until well after he was at the hospital...and everyone knew he didn't have a chance. Whether it's a sign of respect or something else, that's usually how it works out with high-profile deaths. It's like if Barry Bonds went to go catch a flyball, hit the wall, broke his neck, and instantly died. Do you think there going to stop the game, empty the place out, and have an investigation as to why he died and how that wall was unsafe for Major League play? Fuck no, they'll cart him out as quick as they can. I mean, you realize they could of easily put the yellow caution tape around the ring (and how eeriely ironic with Owen that would of been) and turned Kemper Arena into a crime scene. Think about that one.
