They don't need to do anything more to his character at this point. Let Christian be Christian.
The only successful guys in the business are the ones who play themselves, except altered a bit and a lot more intense and charismatic than in real life. Christian is more than likely doing that right now and anytime you make their motivations as characters for anything else other than being successful in wrestling, then it makes it seem useless.
I'm saying characters in general. Like, it's not like 2001 Rock was all "I'm going to beat Steve Austin so I can go make movies." That just transformed into it.
The main problem with the WWE is they take something and they force it down your throat. Christian is good where he is right now. When it's ready to go to the next level, they'll do that.
