  1. Comments time...sigh such a long damn show. Fingers will be so sore. Opening Promo: Munich talks about the old days and brings out his old EUS title as he was the last champ. And he's brought the title back into the running it seems. Hmmm could be interesting at least. Opening - feeding the new guy a match due to storyline - match: An almost not there squash match from Judge because he needs to set this guy up. I sort of know what's going on, but still....wait and see people. Second Match: Little banter to set this one, but lack of some actual facts on AJPw/AJW puts me off a little, and the constant mini promos to start matches are a bday way to eat words on short limits. Better left to be done as pre-match promos. Still, at least Candace/Dragon now sounds Joshi at least, even if she still doesnt wrestle like one. Settling into the style more, but it all still lacks that needed description form one moment to the next and some finer details on moves. Again, spot and a little to fast but with some basic story to it. Nothing really gets sold to the final move with the sholder as Dragon breaks out a Hanging Octopus Hold for the win. Third Match: Nothing to see here, move along people. Promo Time: Zany promo, as Todd confromts TMM about their teamings and the Tag Titles....hmmm interesting. Next Match: It's four way tag team madness folks. Meaning a bloody clusterfuck. Still, a smoothly written mid-card number at least. And again TMM brings the comedy eliment to light up the match and make it more readible. He does get used well in this role, without becomeong a complete comedy character. It looks like this one is all built around the TMM/TC/MVS tag title story, but keeping the wrestling to limited beatdowns and stuff so as not to burry anyone in the process. Nice extended beatdown on Todd from Rev-0, even if it lacks covering what TMM/King are upto. Still a nice little section and the Bad Beat Counter/Recounter and the pinfall break up. Story moves on really with, with both Mike and Mask saving Todd from King then breaking into a brawl. Todd takes out King, only to have Rev-0 railroad him. Good story match that advances things nicely. I do like. And another Match: Sort-a-n00b guy and a guy in a bird suit and all. Real fast hardcore number, quick opening, a dive, some chairshots, a DDT and then it's all over. Another match in the good writing not there for the wrestling pile. Contendership Match: I was under the same writing conditions of Vlad, but he made the best of it. Still well writen, as a lot of mid/upper mid card have the basic writing down to a pretty decent art and there's rarely a problem with it. Starts off fast and spot, so there's something happening, just to cover a lack of a really deep story with a simple balance between two wrestlers so it all works for what it is. Basic back and forth stuff that hits a lot of high spots to be an entertain little read. Comedy Tag Match: Rushed in comedy match that cracks lots of jokes and does work in some wrestling around them here and there. Hehe, have to laugh being an SF fan and all that. Promo: Spike wants to get the CW Title back. Fat chance. CW Title Match: It's a Tom Flesher match. We all know it kicks ass people. Another great blend of comedy, action and skill through out. With a very good little story of Sly sort of coming close but not really becaus it's against Tom Flesher. Grudge Match Thingy Majiggy: I like the jokes about Johnny using Men In Black and the hype about Maddix not having backup now to show how much this one matters now. Guffing in on the psych though, trying to cover it up, but it doesnt hold. Still, the two men do try to out do each other rather than just beat the crap out of each other. Not sure how well it workds as an ending matchb between them, but it's built as such rather than a hate filled bone breaking grudge match. Little too much with the clotheslines and sudden unbuilt come backs, but Maddix at least plays the role of showing off and being the better man as a heel very well. Some little cheap shot about psych in there...again probably trying to cover the lack of deeper psych beyond the body work and the show of nature. But it builds up well, and breaks out from showing off into more of a full fight and dose play off the last two matches here and there. Main Event Which I Lost So I Suck Match: I job, Toxxic wins. Biased and bitter review to follow later.

  4. My total suckfest that was my second and last shot at winning the World Title. Bah....time to think about quiting early. Not bad for 6K in 4 hours, but I get the feeling I wouldnt have won without far to much effort anyway. ---- Salt Lake City’s Delta Center feels like the eye of a huge storm. The ever-faithful SWF fans line every standing space and seat in the arena. People that have driven hours to see the show still stand there, loving even moment so far. Signs can be still seen all around, with a few hastily made ones that have popped up through out the show. Readjusting his expensive tuxedo, Funyon stands up and climbs into the ring once again. Referee Hall makes his way out from the side of the ramp and rolls into the ring, ready for the main event. A hush starts to fall over the crowds as they see what’s about to happen. Comet: Weeeeeeelllllcccccooooooommmmeeeee back Citizens! This is still SWF Lockdown, I’m still Cyclone Comet and here with me is… Riley: Still a man that wonders if I get paid enough for all of this, Bobby Riley. Comet: What a huge show we’ve had already tonight, the line up has been huge and we’re still not done yet. Riley: But we’re close to it. Even if we didn’t have great Fleshers-Per-Minute. And I tell you he should be in the main even right now. But I can wait. Comet: Well Robert, one way or another, Toxxic won the World Title and now he’s stepping up for his first defence. But the curse must be hanging heavy over his head. Riley: Curse, what curse, have you forgotten to take those pills again Comet? Comet: If you look at the past World Champions, you have to go back a long time to see the title was last defended successfully. Riley: Bah, Toxxic isn’t Tom Flesher but he is Toxxic. And now he’s going to prove himself as a champ AND he’s going to beat Dace Night’s sorry ass again! Comet: We’re about to find out if you’re right. Because now it’s time for the main event Citizens. Funyon: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following one on one contest is the main event of the evening. It will be for one fall and will be for… THE SWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE WWWWOOOOOORRRLLLLLDDDD! Rrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Funyon: Introducing firstly, from Birmingham England, weighing in at two hundred and fifty two pounds… he is… DACE… FUCKING! Funyon: NIGHT! The hammering opening drum beat kicks into life with the arena lights flashing as Painkiller kicks into full gear with the opening scream. Bursts of pyro flare up from the entrance ramp as Dace appears at the top of the ramp. Standing under the flashing lights and looking out through the smoke, the White Night pauses for a moment before striding down the ramp and tagging hands with everyone he passes. Trying to zone himself out on the vibe of the crowd, Dace cracks the briefest of smiles at a huge “HELLO MUM!” sign in the front row before rolling into the ring. Comet: Mum…what’s a Mum Robert? Riley: Must be some nutty British thing Comet. You know what they’re like with all those extra ‘u’s. Grabbing the ropes and flexing his arms, Dace literally rips his Horrorcore tshirt off his chest like Hulk Hogan and lobs the tattered remains into the front row with a yell. Pacing around the ring, Dace looks like an animal trying to get the scent of blood, just moments before Toxxic is due to make his entrance. DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! Funyon: And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Jet, from Nottingham England, weighing in at two hundred and eighteen pounds … he is the leader of Revolution Zero … the Straight-Edge Sensation … THE SWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WOOORRRLLLLDDD … TOXXIC! Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! PREPARE TO BE PROVED WRONG! Rookie kicks into life with the opening riff and a huge round of pyro from all around the ramp and stage set. Standing under the Smarktron is the World Champion Toxxic and Jet. The Title Belt around his waist, Toxxic ever so slowly makes his way down the ramp. Watching Night like someone watches a caged wild animal in a zoo, Toxxic climbs onto the ring apron and hands the World Title to Jet. She holds up the Title for all to see as Toxxic throws up his arms, bringing another wave of pyro blasts. TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! Stepping through the ropes, Toxxic takes back the World Title and slowly hands it over to Referee Hall, who shows it to Dace before handing it out to the Time Keeper. The two Brits look at each other from across the ring. The White Night, Horrorcore and the God-Pushed Straight-Edger. They step towards each other slowly, Toxxic soaking up the boos and jeers, almost enjoying them. Dace just glares at him, thinking of nothing but violence and hatred…of the kill. Hall quickly checks them both over before waving his arms and calling for the opening bell. DING, DING, DING! Rrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: And we’re underway Citizens! And in such a heated match as a World Title match, the first moments can be key to who wins and who loses. Riley: Well if you’ll shut up for two seconds, we’ll see how Toxxic is going to win! Mockingly, Toxxic thrusts his hand out for a handshake, waggling his fingers and shouting taunts at Dace over the sound of the fans. Raising his fist Horrorcore just gives his fellow Englishman two fingers, waving them in his face. Visibly offended, Toxxic sends his right arm slicing through the air with an European Uppercut, but Dace isn’t going to have any of that this time around. Slapping the blow away like an offending fly, Dace drills an Elbow Smash into the face of the Straight-Edge Sensation, staggering him backwards. Dace only have one thought “Carpe fucking Jugulum.” CRACK! Yyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Comet: Elbow! If this is how Toxxic plans to win the match Riley, I really doubt it’s going to work. Riley: Just because Dace is a cad with no damn manners! Just you wait Comet, Toxxic is the Hot Commodity for a reason. Because he’s the World Champion, even if Flesher let him win. Comet: ……? Not leaving even an inch open for manoeuvres, Dace follows in with an second Elbow Smash and then a third, snapping Toxxic’s head back each time. As the World Champ starts to sag under the blows, Dace changes his attack and starts to drill home a round of knee strikes into the mid section. Forcing the air out of Toxxic’s lungs, Dace leaves him gagging for air as a knee to the face snaps Toxxic’s head back yet again. Another elbow leaves the Straight-Edge Sensation sagging to his knees like a rag-doll. Like a predator smelling blood, Horrorcore steps back just enough to grab Toxxic by the head and yank his face down into another brutal knee strike. Half hauling the Champ back to unsteady legs, Night leans back and flattens him with a final crushing forearm blow. BAM! Yyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Flopping to the mat like a boneless fish, Toxxic is left staring up at the lights as Dace drops on top of him in the first cover of the match. Hall jumps in to count the fall as Jet yells on encouragement to her man… ……ONE! KICKOUT! Bbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooo! Comet: Opening flurry for strikes from the White Night takes the World Champ down but it’s not enough to put him away! Riley: What? This match has only just started Comet. Dace’s stupid “Hulk smash!” routine isn’t going to keep Toxxic down. He’s never down, almost like Flesher. Rolling back to his knees, Dace roughly grabs the Straight-Edge Sensation by the hair and fires off with short-range vicious forearm smashes before getting back to his feet. With Toxxic still dazed from the strikes, Dace twists on his heel and sends Toxxic flying towards the nearest turnbuckles. Well-honed skills kick in as the World Champ springs up the turnbuckles and launches himself through the air, twisting around to deliver a Role Reversal. But in mid air, Toxxic sees Dace hasn’t been moving and NOW he’s running forwards. Unable to roll out in time, Toxxic feels every single particle of oxygen rush out of his lungs as Dace’s foot crashes into his chest in mid air. SMACK! Rrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: Yakuza Kick! Dace double bluffed the World Champion, waiting out the Role Reversal then took him out of mid air! Riley: Damn it. Come on Toxxy-baby, we can’t have this happening. But don’t worry Comet, Dace won’t get chance to do anything like that again. Again like a lifeless rag-doll, Toxxic hits the mat, flashbacks of the dive through the table at Ground Zero running through his head. He can feel the added two hundred and fifty pounds dropping onto his chest as Dace makes the cover. Through the fog that everyone gets after being hit so hard, Toxxic franticly kicks his legs, trying to break free of the cover. ……ONE! ……TW-KICKOUT! Oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! FUCK HIM UP DACE! FUCK FUCK! FUCK HIM UP DACE! FUCK FUCK! FUCK HIM UP DACE! FUCK FUCK! The profane roaring of the fans pounding in his nears along with near blood lust, Dace stands back up and yanks Toxxic up from the mat like he’s a plaster stuck to a flesh wound. Seeing the fog still in the eyes of the World Champ, Horrorcore clamps his arms in a Rear Waistlock and takes a few steps backwards. Taking a risk and hoping to completely take the World Champ off his game, Dace sends his weight arching backwards and throws Toxxic through the air. Instincts kick in again and Toxxic flips on, landing on his feet, almost buckling but just holding him balance… Riley: Hah! You can’t German Toxxic! What was Dace thinking with that one? …Breaking forwards into a charge to get the match under his control and hang onto his title, Toxxic doesn’t spot what’s going on until it’s too late. The White Night ducks down, catching Toxxic by the legs and then stands up violently, launching the Straight-Edger up through the air and ropes the ropes…crashing all the way down to the floor. Again there are flash backs, again of the fall from the air through the table. But this time there’s no table to break his fall. Deep inside his mind, Toxxic has the thoughts of “I’m going to kill that bloody bastard!” Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! SMACK! Yyyyyyyyaaaaahhhhhhhhh! Comet: He wasn’t trying to Robert! Dace just double bluffed the World Champ again! Toxxic isn’t the only one that can play psychological warfare games! Rushing over to her boyfriend, Jet kneels down beside him, checking him over for a moment. In the ring, Dace stands as a walking body of fury and bloodlust. Throwing his arms up to the roaring crowds before rolling out of the ring. Halls count rings dimly in both men’s ears, but for different reasons. Jet stands up and backs away slowly as Dace walks across the floor to Toxxic’s body. Looking at her, Dace flips her two fingers as reaches down and wrenches the Champ up. Horrorcore slams a simple close-fisted punch into the Straight-Edger’s face before rolling him back into the ring. Hall’s count continues to rise as Night rolls back in himself and drops over Toxxic with a quick cover. ……ONE! ……TW-NO! Bbbbbbbbboooooooooooooo! Comet: Toxxic got his foot on the ropes. And even I have to say that was fair and without Jet’s help. Riley: See Comet, his first defence and he’s showing the ring awareness of a champion like Tom Flesher have personally taught it to him. Comet: Not only did Toxxic save energy by not kicking out, he’ll have gotten back some of that mental advantage. Showing he always knows where he is in the ring. Knowing he’s just opening a huge lead in the race for the World Title but seeing any more head games would be a bad idea against someone with Toxxic’s record, Dace switches back to the ‘A’ game. Ignoring the usual warning calls about closed fists, Dace feeds the poison free Brit several rounds of knuckle sandwiches before hammering a knee into his stomach. Forcing Toxxic into a Standing Headscissors, Dace quickly Underhooks both of his arms and yanks him into the air like a dead weight. Flicking his legs up and making a frantic counter, Toxxic scissors his legs around Horrorcore’s neck and swings his weight backwards. Caught off-guard by the sudden counter, Night ends up going head over heels and ends up on his shoulders with Toxxic sitting on his chest and cradling his legs. Bbbbbbbbboooooooooooooooooooooooo! Riley: Hurricanrana counters the Tiger Driver! That’s a mark of a World Champ. Any counter at any time. The Hot Commodity is going to take any head games Dace goes and hit him in the face with them! ……ONE! ……TWO! Oooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Shoving with his hands, Dace throws the two twenty of dead weight off his chest and struggles to leap straight back to his feet. Toxxic almost sails through the ropes as Dace kicks out, but he catches hold of them to stop himself. Sucking in air, Toxxic knows he only has seconds before Dace is attack again but he’s already got a plan together in his mind to take care of that. Night sees Toxxic hanging across the middle rope, fighting to move and rushes in for another attack. Hearing the humping on the mat, the Champ doubles his grip on the ropes and leaps up, sending his legs up into the air and shooting out. The kick catches Dace flush in the face with a huge Mule Kick. “Eat that sunshine!” runs through Toxxic’s mind as his body flops back to the mat in time with Dace’s. TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! Comet: On the fly counter from Toxxic. Using the ropes to assist that huge leaping Mule Kick from the mat. Riley: And that’s why the Straight-Edge Sensation is the World Champion and Dace Night is a unskilled thug. Even if the fans can’t see it. Dragging himself back up with the aid of the ropes, Toxxic shakes his head as he sucks in more needed lungfuls of air. Using the ropes to kick-start his run, the Straight-Edger leaps into the air and sends both feet crashing into Horrorcore’s jaw again, this time with a Dropkick as he tries to rise. Rather that dropping straight into a cover, Toxxic rolls away and stands up slowly, taking in more of the even important air. Working like a chess master, the World Champ works out a new game plan as he stands and curses himself for those double bluffs. Knowing his body wont stand many more big bumps, his ribs already burning again, Toxxic moves to return the favour to Dace. A flurry of European Uppercuts come in to think and face for the White Night to block, each one smashing his head from side to side and knocking his mind off focus. Catching his hands around Dace’s neck, Toxxic sits out with a Jawbreaker. Bbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooo! Holding on, even as a small burst of pain shoots up his spine, Toxxic back rolls along the mat, taking Dace onto his back in one smooth motion, hooking up his legs with an inventive pinning combination. Hall has to leap in at the sudden roll to start to the pin fall count. ……ONE! ……KICKOUT! Comet: Jawbreaker to an Inverted Rolling Cradle but it’s not fast enough to put the White Night down. Both of these men are breaking out all the stops because this is the World Title they’re fighting for! The wave of panic settles down inside Dace’s mind. It always comes when a wrestler suddenly finds themselves on their backs with a hand hitting the mat. Franticly trying to get himself back in gear, Dace springs to his feet and barely swings sideways out of the back of a Superkick that would have really made his jaw ache. Spinning around, Dace just isn’t fast enough to stop a boot from the Straight-Edge Sensation that doubles him over. Taking a handful of Night’s hair, Toxxic leaps up and comes down, slamming Dace’s jaw and face into his knee with a Facebuster. Another small flicker of pain from his back and ribs burns in Toxxic, but not as much as Dace’s head as Toxxic holds on and spikes it with an Evenflow DDT. WHAM! Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbboooooooooooooooo! Riley: Looks like Dace just had a very Sobering Thought. And that thought is that he’s about to lose this match! Comet: Toxxic looks like he’s watching how he lands. After that splat on the floor, I’m not surprised. But will it catch up with him before Dace does. Quickly rolling sideways into a cover, forcing all his weight across Night’s shoulders, Toxxic is far to aware of that ever present pain you get in a wrestling match. But he knows it’s just a case of hurting the other guy more than you hurt yourself, everyone does. ……ONE! ……TWO! KICKOUT! Yyyyyyyyyaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Dace rolls to his side and sits up slowly, holding his head for a moment. But in that moment, Toxxic as already sprung up and hit the ropes. Dace gets to one knee as the Straight-Edge Sensation comes flying back and smacks a Basement Dropkick into his face. Pain erupts from his scared face as the pair of boots snaps his head backwards and leave him back of the mat, Night can’t do anything but try to think ahead to the next move to stop that one. Knowing that any sort of diving around could go very wrong for him, the World Champion simple comes for a standard Oklahoma Roll rather than his Slingshot version. Toxxic flips over Dace’s body and rolls Night onto his shoulders yet again for another cover. ……ONE! ……Ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh! Backrolling, Dace takes a risk on his ring position and takes Toxxic overhead by the grip around his arm. Not trying anything flashy like rolling into an Armbar, Dace simply drops his weight into a cover, in one corner of the ring, but just far enough from the ropes… ……ONE! ……TWO! KICKOUT! Oooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! LET’S GO DACE! LET’S GO DACE! LET’S GO DACE! LET’S GO DACE! LET’S GO DACE! Comet: Oklahoma Roll gets reversed into another cover by Dace. Toxxic may have fought back to the lead in this match, but he hasn’t won yet. Riley: Won, all he needs to do is leave with that belt Comet. And he will do, fair and square. But trust me, he’s going to put Dace out on his back once again! Scrambling along the mat, Horrorcore backs himself up against the ropes and throws his arms up in defence around his head as Toxxic leaps back to the attack, swinging kicks around in arcs. The blows back off his forearms for a few seconds, before Dace can send his fist surging forwards and hammering deep into the gut of the Straight-Edge Sensation. Able to hear the air rushing out of Toxxic’s lungs, Dace grins to himself. “Now it’s playback time bitch.” Pulling himself back to his feet with the ropes, Night quickly scoops Toxxic up and slams him down as hard as possible with the ever-faithful Scoop Slam. The fire roars back into life as his back hits the ring canvas and the World Champ knows it wont take many big bumps to leave him open to the Torture Crab. His thoughts still scattered, Dace keeps it simple and just drops a knee hard into the smaller Brits chest, keeping him breathless. Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Jet looks on with a worried stare, yelling words of encouragement to her boyfriend all the time, rather than insults at Dace. Rather than going for any holds so close to the turnbuckles and the ropes, Horrorcore shows whom still has the strength advantage as he scoops Toxxic up and over onto his shoulders without to much effort. Toxxic just lies there, waiting and playing his own mental games. As soon as Dace turns his back to the corner, Toxxic kicks his legs out and swings around, dropping to the back. Keeping his arm wrapped around Night’s head as he falls, the Straight-Edger drops to one knee and drives it into Dace’s spine as he falls. Standing straight back up, feeling even rib as he ropes, Toxxic leaps backwards, kicking his feet off the turnbuckles and swinging around. “I’m always gonna be better than you Dace,” the thoughts runs through Toxxic’s mind as he hits the mat with the thud and drives the back of Dace’s head down as well. Comet: The start of the Detoxx chained into the Final Shine from the Straight-Edge Sensation! Riley: Truly beautiful moves from the Champ. He avoids Dace’s Reverse DVD just to plant him with a move to work his head. TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! TOXXIC SUCKS! Pausing for just a moment as his body objects to the sudden landing on the mat, Toxxic rolls over as the pains fades a little, it’s enough to hurt but nowhere near enough to stop him from making the cover. Dace looks up at the lights through the fog of being dropped on the back of his head, rage still pounding in his ears. That anger that keeps everyone going, that makes you able to kick out and kick the other guy’s ass. He can just hear the sound of Hall’s hand slamming against the mat. ……ONE! ……TWO! KICKOUT! Rrrrrrrrraaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! Riley: What are these lot chanting for? He only kicked out. It’s not like he’s going to come close to winning or anything like that! Latching on grip like a cowboy on a wild bull, the World Champion makes sure the challenger has no room to slip away. Taking a tactic straight from the play book of guys like Williams, Night and Flesher, Toxxic slams home a few quick and easy European Uppercuts and punches as he hauls Dace up, keeping him stunned to set up the next chain of events. Holding the White Night at arms length, Toxxic measures him up, before hopping back a step and launching his foot through the air. Dace just can’t move fast enough to dodge the Superkick as he crashes into his face and knocks him back to the mat. Renewed fire burning in his brain, with a feeling like being in a church tower when they’re ringing the bells, Night clutches at his face, just being glad it wasn’t Janus hitting him. Smirking, Toxxic grabs both of Dace’s legs and flips over into a simple Jacknife pinning hold. Bbbbbbbooooooooooooooooo! ……ONE! ……TWO! …KICKOUT! Oooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: And another pinning combination from Toxxic. He’s taken those early big shots from Dace, just to come back and run things at his own pace. Riley: Exactly Comet, he’s dealing with the pain, pacing how he lands. But Dace is just getting kicked in the head every five seconds. And even with the brain the size of a pee, we’ve still see he can get knocked out and pinned! Springing back to his feet, the Hot Commodity watches Dace struggle up for just a second before booting him in the gut to stop him trying anything. A left crashes into Dace’s head, and then a right, another left and another right, the punch combo leaving Horrorcore staggered once again, as Toxxic winds up and spins around. Staggered but not dazed as Dace ducks under the Discus Clothesline. Snapping his whole bodyweight around like it was on a coiled up spring, Night twists his body around and launches out elbow first, aiming for Toxxic’s face with teeth removing intent. Knowing two can play this game, Toxxic smoothly ducks the desperation Rolling Elbow and slips behind Dace. Reaching around Night’s head, the World Champ locks his hands and falls backwards, again dropping Dace on his skull, this time with an Inverted Sitout Faceslam. “Damn metal freak is going to stay down.” The Straight-Edge Sensation holds on and grabs Dace’s leg to make it a full cover as Hall drops in for another frantic count. ……ONE! ……TWO! ……KICKOUT! Rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! GET THE FUCK UP DACE! GET THE FUCK UP! GET THE FUCK UP DACE! GET THE FUCK UP! Swinging his arm through the air to single that this one might as well be cover, Toxxic looks at Jet for a moment. She starts pounding the ring apron like a drum roll, knowing it’s almost over as well. In a mirror to the beginning of the match, the World Champ picks the challenger up and forces him into a Standing Headscissors. Underhooking both of Horrorcore’s arms, Toxxic lifts him up and spins in the middle of the ring before sitting out and dumping Dace on his face. A slight fire ripples up his spine and ribs as he hits the mat but Toxxic knows it’s not enough to put him off or stop him. Rolling Dace over smugly, he hooks a leg just a make sure as he leans forwards into yet another cover. Bbbbbbboooooooooooooooooo! ……ONE! ……TWO! ……TH-KICKOUT! Rrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: Toxxic Shock Syndrome but Dace kicks out! The White Night is still fighting and he’s not going down yet. Riley: Please, when did he last even make a move to hurt Toxxic? The Straight-Edge Sensation is just too damn fast and too damn good. He’s going to have that World Title until Tom Flesher takes it from him. Just about thinking straight over the pounding in his head, with spots and stars flicking infront of his eyes, Dace looks up to see the Straight Edger standing over him with an evil smirk across his face. Taking hold of an imagery can of Pepsi Max, Toxxic pops the ring pull and chug backs of a few gulps of air before wiping his mouth and flashing the ‘V’ to all the fans in the arena. FUCK YOU TOXXIC! FUCK YOU TOXXIC! FUCK YOU TOXXIC! FUCK YOU TOXXIC! FUCK YOU TOXXIC! Adding one last insult, Toxxic lands an open handed slap across Night’s face as he picks up the struggling Metalhead from the mat. Knowing Dace isn’t in any state to fight back now, Toxxic clamps on a Front Facelock and reaches down, hooking the inside of Night’s knee ready for the Caffeine Bomb. “I didn’t want to do this, not use his moves, but this might be the only way to beat him,” that sole idea running clearly through his head, Dace grits his teeth and lashes out. A sloppy and slow fist crashes into Toxxic’s ribs, it’s not that strong, but the effort of trying to lift up Night for the Caffeine Bomb and the pain still there from hitting the floor makes it count. Feeling the grip on his head and neck slacken, Dace franticly pounds away with his fists into Toxxic’s ribs and back, clubbing away. A final blow brings up a yelp of pain from the Straight-Edger and he stumbles back. Then a completely new combo catches him off guard…Left Cross… WHAM! Left Cross… WHAM! Left Cross… WHAM! Dace kisses his right hand and sends in sailing into the Champ’s face like a battering ram of history, fuelled with history and hate. BAM! Toxxic leaves his feet and thuds back down to the mat like he’s just been KO’ed. Having to support himself on his knees, Dace looks up at the stunned crowd and lefts out a simple cry. “BOO-YAH!” Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! The reaction is a little mixed, but right now anything that puts a beating on Toxxic will get a cheer from the fans. Forcing himself forwards, the cries of pain still ringing inside of his skull, the White Night advances on Toxxic…”Right you little bitch, time for a lesson.” Comet: Is that what I think it is Robert? Dace just used the move and the cry of his former tag team partner and stable mate and late enemy. Riley: How dare he, disrespect the moves of a great World Champion like Va’aiga in such a way? Comet: They where partners and Tag Champions before that Robert. Maybe it’s the one thing in the well Dace can use to defeat Toxxic. Riley: It’s a disgrace that’s what it is. I hope Va’aiga comes back and drops him on his head again for this! Toxxic tries to sit out but a boot lashes out and catches him in the face, knocking him straight back down to the mat. The rush pushing him back to life, giving that little edge you need to get back in control, Dace reaches down and scoops up the Straight-Edge Sensation. Leading him by the head like a boy to the woodshed, Dace breaks into half sprint and rams Toxxic’s head into the nearest turnbuckle. Spinning him around in the corner, Dace grabs the ropes and plants a huge High Kick into Toxxic’s face. Hearing Hall’s yells about getting out of the corner and the start of the five count, Dace makes the most of it and drills in two more massive High Kicks that snap Toxxic’s head back. Just before the five, Dace steps back and lets Toxxic sag forwards. Catching the toppling and almost lifeless World Champion, Dace picks him up and twists around before launching him down into the mat with a bone jarring Spinebuster Slam. Yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! A sharp rush of air escape Toxxic’s lungs as he hits the mat and the feeling of hitting the floor from up in the air becomes far to close again as the fire around his spine is rekindled. Knowing that Dace know has all that rare and valuable time to recover, the Champ tries to will his aching body to move. Grabbing Toxxic’s leg, Dace rolls backs into a cover and pumps his fist into the air briefly as a sign to the fans. Jet yells on from ringside as Hall drops down and starts the count. ……ONE! ……TWO! …KICKOUT! Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: Spinebuster from the White Night. Toxxic is coming closer and closer to losing the World Title tonight. Riley: He hasn’t lost it yet Comet and it’s NOT going to happen. It’s just not. Pumping his fist into the air again, this time in a Maori sign, Horrorcore again channels his former partner and enemy, the Maori Badass. Clutching at his ribs, the World Champ rolls over and pounds the mat, reaching for the ropes to pick himself up again. The world swims for a moment as he feels himself being lifted up and then looking straight into the face of Dace F’n’ Night. The Straight-Edge Sensation can see the elbow sailing for the air but all to quickly it collides with his face. Scooping Toxxic up almost like he’s a baby, Dace holds him across his chest and lefts out another roar…”I hope he hasn’t watch these tapes…” Dace thinks to himself as he bounces of the ropes and runs forwards before leaping up into the air and bringing himself down as hard as he can, with all the weight he can manage, right onto Toxxic with a Maori Drop. WHAM! Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: Maori Drop! The first one seen in the SWF for months! Riley: He’s not Va’aiga, it’s not going to work. Toxxic is the World Champ and the they never go down easy Comet. ……ONE! ……TWO! ……THR-KICKOUT! Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Swearing in rage at Hall, Dace pushes himself back up and wrenches Toxxic back up as well. Clocking the Straight-Edger right between the eyes with one last quick Elbow Smash, Dace slips behind him into a Rear Waistlock, clamping his arms shut. Not playing any games this time, not messing about, Dace goes to snap his weight backwards for a Dangerous German Suplex. But in the dash for self-preservation and to hold onto his title, Toxxic sucks up the pain and rolls forwards. Not flipping Night over his shoulders, the Straight-Edge Sensation just hooks Night’s limps as he rolls through the air and takes him over, into a Rolling Prawn Hold Cradle. Hooking him up as tight as possible, the Champ can feel his torso and head screaming at him to stop as Hall pounces in to count the sudden fall… ……ONE! ……TWO! ……THRE-NO! Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Barely kicking free at the last second after the world suddenly turning upside down, Dace swears to himself at being caught like that. Holding for his head for a moment, letting his inner ear settle back to a balance, Dace stands up just as Toxxic leaps again. Pain hurts, but only for so long when someone’s not hitting you and that’s the only thing the World Champ thinks of as he leaps up and sends his feet crashing into Night’s knee with a Dropkick. It’s not to take his legs out, just to take him down. Barely able to push himself up, Toxxic wraps one arm around the White Night’s head and falls backwards, rolling along the mat and just managing to make it into a Small Package. Hall again leaps in to count the fall. Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbboooooooooooooooooo! ONE! TWO! THR-OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! Comet: A pair of sudden roll ups but they’re not enough to snatch the win away from Dace. Riley: Snatch the win? Dace hasn’t won yet Spandex Boy. Toxxic is still going to leave this match as the World Champion damn it! His ribs and back now burning like someone’s jabbing hot pokers into them, Toxxic struggles to breath after that sudden burst that he hoped to get the flash pin. A fresh wave of pain explodes as a Brummie fist crashes into his face. Slowly getting to his knees and rubbing at his knee for a few moments, Dace looks down at Toxxic…”Ok, time for the hard way.” Comet: Well Riley, I think we’re about to see what it’s going to take to keep the World Champ down. FUCK HIM UP DACE! FUCK FUCK! FUCK HIM UP DACE! FUCK FUCK! FUCK HIM UP DACE! FUCK FUCK! Seeing Jet is just standing there yelling at the top of her lungs, he hopes to count on fair play and luck. His head is still buzzing his pain but he knows Toxxic’s body must he feeling worse right now. Shaking out his right arm, Night growls and focuses. Letting all his bloodlust, rage, hatred, anger and desire to win boil into one point, running down his right arm and pointing straight towards the Straight-Edge Sensation. In the middle of the ring, Toxxic holds his ribs, fire burning like an inferno now, his every move to stand up aching and burning. Looking around, he can’t see Dace anywhere near him and so slowly and carefully he stands up, checking around as he holds an hand to his sides. Even as quick as he is, even with all the skill he has, Toxxic is dazed and staggered and simply can’t move fast enough to move out of the way of the charging rhino heading straight at him…”Awww bugger!” Swinging his arm out, Dace unleashed the BIGGEST, NASTIEST, ITS BACK IN TOWN, TAKE THIS YOU FUCKING POSER TWAT, I’M GOING TO KNOCK YOUR HEAD BACK TO BLIGHTY LLLLLLLAAAAARRRRRRRIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAATTTTTOOOOOOOOO! CCCCRRRUUUNNNNNNCCCHHHHH! Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Comet: Lllllllllaaaaaarrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiaaaaaaatttttttooooooooooo! Riley: Oh Jesus nnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooo! The blow hits Toxxic like a tidal wave of death. It knocks him from his head and sends him back flipping through the air. Spinning over a full four hundred and fifty degrees before crashing down into the mat like the wrecking from a plane crash. Dace drops down for the cover as the whole arena shouts along… ONE! TWO! TTTTTHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! DING! DING! DING! The roof leaves the building, the sound of noise is deafening, like a sonic boom right inside your head. Every single person is on their feet and chanting. Funyon’s cry can barely be heard even form the PA system. Funyon: Here is your winner…and NEW SWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD… DACE NNNNIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHTTTTTTT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! DACE FUCKING NIGHT! Comet: Can you hear that Robert? Can you hear it? Dace just climbed to the top of the mountain and threw Toxxic right off the side! Riley: This can’t be happening. This is a bad dream. It’s all a dream. Dace is not SWF World Champion. I’ll pinch myself and wake up in bed and Flesher will be there to make it all ok… Referee Hall takes the World Title belt and raises Dace’s hand in the air before dropping the title across his chest. Just able to hold his right arm in the air, pain shooting through it after hitting Toxxic so hard, Horrorcore clutches at the title with a tear in the corner of his eye. “Take that one bitch,” he thinks to himself as he basks in the thunderous roar of the fans chanting and cheering. A few feet away, Jet kneels over her boyfriend, checking to see if he’s even still alive. Barely able to sit up, Dace looks around at the fans that are still chanting for him. Standing up slowly like an old man that hasn’t moved for many years, Dace ignores the figures of Toxxic and Jet, just looking out around the arena. Comet: And Dace Night is the newest in a long and historic line of SWF Champions. On this night, he did it all! Riley: Well, there’s still that damn curse. So as soon as Toxxic gets a rematch or even better…as soon as Tom Flesher gets a shot, he’s going to lose that title. Comet: Robert, we’ll see about that when it comes to it. But tonight, it belongs to the White Night. Supporting himself on the ropes, Dace throws his arms in the air to the cheering fans, holding the World Title tight as the chant rings on as the image fades out. DACE! DACE! DACE! DACE! ……
  5. Why not just have them saved to your PC?
  6. Ohhh, very interesting and an importing insight into what's going on with Maddix right now. I like it.
  7. Go with D, let's some have some all arena action.
  8. *CLICK ....WHIRRRR ......CLICK CLICK .....BLEEP .....WHIRRR* Sitting in some hotel room somewhere in Salt Lake City, Dace Night is hunched up on the bed, with a lap top across his legs. Across the bed are scattered SWF issue archive DVDs. On the screen is an from Ground Zero, the image of Janus blocking the Intoxxication and coming so close to using the Rage Unleashed. Zooming in, Dace can see the look on Toxxic's face as he's held in the air then thrown sideways. "Hmmmm, no that won't do. Not after that one." Dace mutters to himself with a slight sigh. Some Burzum drones out from the CD player across the room, the scretching sounds being a much better choice than the hotel TV. Room service had provided a huge bowl of pasta and chicken along with other food and large bottles of coke and a small one of Scottish single malt whiskey. Ejecting the DVD from the drive and idly clipping it back into the case, Dace picks up another one from the pile and slides it in, clicking play as the drive spins into life. The whole issue of DVD archive footage made it far when you wanted to check someone out before a match than lugging loads of tapes around with you. Each one was covered in an SWF logo and a listing of who was on the disk. "Let's see...Toxxic knows his own stuff well enough not to show it. Flesher's might just work...Kibiagami's doesn't have a chance nor does the Trinity's." Flicking through the DVD's, Dace looks at all the people Toxxic has faced and for things he can use himself. Reaching over, Dace picks up a chicken leg and takes a bite from it as he watches his loss against Toxxic before skipping through to some of his older matches...... *CLICK ....WHIRRRR ......CLICK CLICK .....BLEEP .....WHIRRR* "It's amazing the things you can forget. When they seem like so long ago. I can't go around trying any old spots to beat him. Not if I can use them myself. And he knows the ropes with some of the best people here. But him....no the little twat doesn't know him." Slowly setting down his lap top and leaving the DVD playing on an old favourate match, Dace kickly rifles throuhg the pile of case and disks until he fines the one he's looking for with a grin on his face. Sitting back again the wall, Dace takes enough bite of chicken as he slides in the new DVD and presses play. "Hero or not. Doing this for myself or the fans. For money or for fame or to be crippled at thirty five. I have to be ready for this one. I have to fight. And what better way to be ready." Leaning back and watching the scenes flicker across the screen as the music drifts across the room, Dace lefts the memories come back in, all the styles and tactics. All the ideas. Toxxic's know for watching his tapes and making his connections. But you have to wonder if he'd know to look for this. If he does that maybe he'll win anyway. But if he doesn't...... well. And in the hotel room, there are only three things to do. Pause, rewind and play.
  9. Ohhhh.....Toxxic's planning him game. But he's not the only one. Have to get my own promo up shortly. This match sure is going to be interesting.
  10. Bah, it's just as hot and muggy today as yesturday. But at least I was busy with something yesturday. Opening Promo: Toxxic and Rev-0 have a nice big ego trip between themselves and such til Dace comes down to run his mouth. We have tension building people. Things will be happening. Opening match: New guy and a sort of n00b. Face paced match to start with, with some desc here and there, filling in some of gaps with similes rather than straight up description but it's better than nothing. It stays fast paced as it moves from spot to spot, back and forth without selling. Still, a fun opening match and shows what both guys can do and makes them both look strong in some ways. Promo: Candace and co running their mouths about Candace being the SWF's only undefeated superstar, even after two matches. Makes the wrestling around the world joke and mises a line. And 5 grand is offered for the first person to beat her...interesting. Promo: Andrea checks into the Hotel which seems to be full of the SWF crew. She's planning something as she orders out for some flashy stuff from the hardware store. Like some mad cartoon she drills into the ceiling and makes a drive for TMM's room...to spy on him? It's more mad comedy with directions around the arena from some stagger. Nine rooms to hold the theme song computers people. Back into the ceilings and she just drops in on Ebony. Finally spies TMM only to turn and bolt. Match: Lots of stupid ass jokes as Spike just pisses about with this one. Lots of dodgy sound effects of jokes at other people's exspenses, etc, etc. Spike you poor poor fool. Promo: Vlad and Ace run into each other backstage. Much comedy and misunderstandings happening. Comedy all round on this show it seems. Promo: Now it's Landon Maddix how's out running his ego about beating Johnny. And mocks him about his sportsmanship and such. Dangerous comes out, breaking out all his old Super Spy stuff to some cheesey pop music. Johnny's been begging with Zenon and he's got himself a match against Landon with Card Enterprises banned from ringside. More build up people. Promo: Rev-0 meeting backstage about Spike's match against Eddy J. Spike lays down a challenge to Flesher over the Crusiserweight Title and wants to put it all on the line. And Flesher gains overness form walking. Flesher comes out to the ring, calls Spike and bitch and such. The Sly comes out. Flesher threatens to pawn of the CW title because he's heel damn it. Promo: Manson comes out to celebrate his USJL title defence til Kelly comes out and runs her mouth, leading to a King attack, beating Manson down and taunting him. Promo: Grand Slam is out backstage when Toxxic comes up and runs his mouth, because he loves his ego. Normal Toxxic ego trip just to stir up some of the past between the two. ME Match: Grand Slam and Duran are both back in the ring after quite some time. Sort intro and the match is underway. Duran over powers GSMS having lost less of his step. Duran just runs a quick ass kicking before Grand Slam makes a hero face comeback without selling. Duran matches his knee and goes back with another beatdown. Grand Slam with another hero come back and Duran cuts him off again and dumps him over the ropes. BFT on the outside and a knee to the head agaisnt the steps. Duran wins by countout. Decent beat down the re-turnee match even if it lacks selling between the spots. Promo: MVS is out and there's still cries that he got jobbed to a girl. He wants his tag title belt back from TMM because it's his apprently. TMM hands the title over, only for Birdman to run in and attack MVS, along with Andrea. An unknown breaks into the ring to even the score, followed by Judge F'n' Mental! Gavel Bang to MVS, 42nd Street leg it with the tag belts. Some back history from Judge and talk about what's been going on with him. And finally, not being able to wrestle, he's brough us a trainee...interesting. MOTN: Grand Slam vs John Duran (pretty much by default but still)

  12. You know what these fans are like Grand Slam. Very fickle. I'm touched my face pops are still this strong. But then it's more the fact I'm running against the top heels and they've gotten me over.
  13. Shameless side... Gotta be my match against Danny at From The Fire. And the Best of Five against Flesher not so long ago. Other people'e stuff.... Grappler winning the Title then Duran FINALLY beating him for it then Kibs FINALLY becomeing a World Champ himself. Toxxic being the first man in after the JL closed in his shotting up the ladder.
  14. There is NO problem having the same finisher as anyone else. Because if the move still gets the job done, it doesn't mater. It's the making the moev seem weaker issue that I have a problem with.
  15. You have to remember, the line can only go so far. Then nothing will be a big fininsher because it's all been kicked out off. Look at AJ Styles kicking out of a Super Ki Krusher...right, now what uber death move does Ki has left to finish him with in a huge battle later on?
  16. Thing with different feds, is most of the time you can ignore their move psych as there...."different worlds with different rules". Barring the biggest and baddest of moves. I dont care who you are, a Tiger Driver 91 should always be a "DEATH!" move. Much like the Demonstar will always be here. It's a balance to strike and all that. But it can be done with a little jiggling around.
  17. Happy Birthday, have a good day and all that madness.
  18. Yes, yes you should WC. Because you're a better flyer than Sly, but if HE can get a win with a Lionsault, then WC should be able to as well. But with WC's speed he can do, FAR, FAR, FAR better moves. But the Lionsault is a bad finisher anyway. Most people do it from the 3rd rope and get a 2 from it.
  19. You really shouldnt use old finisher (not big ones anyway) as it's become complete canon that they will always been deadly, eg the Demonstar. Not just because Kibs is an asshole about, but because he got the thing so fucking over it's now part of history and such. Other less moves in time fade and such, so it doesnt matter as much. But mainly, your character should be less skilled at the move than the original user to make it less effective and so not a finisher.
  20. I thought you might have ment that, but I was right. But yes, at least we're getting some comments on this PPV.
  21. It's got to be the Main Event but I really didnt want it to be due to the clusterfuck nature of it. And the fact it's a Triple Threat and all that crap realy. But my review covers it. So chalk up 1 vote for Toxxic vs Flesher vs Janus.
  22. Ok, here we go. Oh jesus this is gonna KILL me (the last PPV took 7 hours straight and over 3 hours was actually writing this lot out) 1) Mall Brawl - Lots of Mad People. Little comedy style intro that sets everything up. And shows it's gonna be a nicely writen number. I do like it starting off almost like a track race then breaking out into Mall Brawl goodness. Bwahaha @ the classic camemos from Sharpe and Frost, always a good touch in comedy matches like these. I mark for Petey's balacony dive from the second level onto Sly and Eddy J. The shoe fight thing is another smooth big of comedy here as well. Iron Mike Tyson as well? Someone's breaking out all the stops here. And hey, it's a comedy match, it should be funny and all that. The little paraody with the secuirty cart that plays of Janus' Mall Brawl and Strangler no selling a car before is a great little one to bring chuckles. Best psych you'll find here. The Mike Tyson runnign joke rocks as well. The mass of golden ballons is a niffty little thing to add some tension to this match and make the outcome hard to see. Brining back the survey as the source of the ballon as well is another good running gag. And the ref getting laid out just stretches out the finisn even more. It's almost working on the same story base as a real wrestling match, with false finishes during the race to the finish. And bwahahahahaha @ finally bringing in Cutthroat like that....what a twist. Good comedy match withing being an OTT cluster fuck. Rating: C+ for all the gags and funny goodness. 2) First Promo - Duran and Zenon John Duran wants back into the ME. And he's going to be someone to prove he can still hang with it. 3) Singlse Match - Candace vs MVS Description's picked up a little this time around but still needs more work on the detail and all to make it feel better. The pollitcal way of getting heat is a nice slighty different touch though. Slightly fair comment about AJW but there was Aja Kong...and Candace sure doesnt feel like a Joshi. Action still feels a little thin and jerky, lacking description of the finer details. A lack of selling from one section of the match to another as well. The damange gets done then just seems to fall away. Some of the adjectives really over do it at times. Convaying damage is one thing, but it's a balance to strike. Todd knocking Candace off the ropes should have been a DQ. As should have the outside brawl. Improvement yes, but probably still needs more work. Mainly just in picking up the style and all that. Rating: D 4) Promo Time - MVS and crew MVS finally having to address the issue of the tag titles and him just running off. TMM gets called out and claims the Tag Belt should be his and it brings out Todd as well. They argue about the belts intil Zenon comes out to lay down the LAW folks. Hmmm, this angle is 3 way goodness folks. 5) Hardcore Title Match - Sean Davis vs Martin Hunt. Maybe a little overkill on the intros, might have been covered in a promo. But this is PPV so what the heck. Not like you're filling up words now. Just kicking the champ down, stealing his belt and his booze is a good little heel touch. Nothing majorly flash or wrestling based, but it makes for good heat. It's the sort of little idea the greats like Flesher use to big effect. Spike pops here and we've got a good old run in folks. Double team blow, it's over folks, new champ. A PPV rush job...bah, but at least the writing's good. Rating: F+ 6) Promo - Video Package Little hype number for the USJL Title match. Past champs and all that. Hyping the recent events of King and Manson to get to this place. Can never have enough hype now can you. 7) USJL Title Match - Manson vs King King's ego trip character is kept up and it's all good. I can see a lot of good fued things being done with King and Kelly. Very smoothly worked opening set piece, standard but effective and showing Manson has a more than fine grasp of the basics when he's on a roll. The description's been worked on as well. There's a soild base to it, nothing overly flashy or flower but there's just enough here and there as the match goes on. A nice slow build as well, with first cover not even getting a count, giving a lot of room to work with. Also, while Manson's incontrol here, it means it does look like King is getting plasterd to much either. It seems a pretty paced match centered around the strike exchanges that carry everything along between the bigger spots while still having some meaning. I like how the Fujiwara gets to be a nice focus from the selling point of view, with King trying to shake it off, but not being able to hit his finisher full on so Manson can kick out. And the arm leads into the finish, from the less than full on King Buster meaning Manson doesn't that long to recover. A passible afair overall that I know Manson dragged out but seemed to have a good plan set around for it. Rating: C 8) Promo - Maddix Hype Package Maddix covers the backstory for this one just to get all the hype fresh in our minds. And shows his complete hate for Johnny Dangerous. Touching on the whole thing of is Johnny really doing things in WC's name and etc. Vowing to send Johnny to the scrap head and such. And then some TV recaps of the events Maddix has been talking about that's lead upto here. 9) ICTV Title Match - Maddix vs Dangerous Cowboy Riley.....dear god save us all please. It just shouldn't be thought of. More of the history thing coming up, which always helps give a better feeling for a lot of matches. And with such a heated build, things rightly start off with a brawl because straight up wrestling just wouldnt be right. Having Maddix just "pop back up" from the opening shots might be a big much. Sounds more like no selling that he just rolling straight back up because it doesnt hurt enough yet to keep him down. Angle-itis with the missed clothesline transistions, but with these guys styles, what you gonna do eh? Switching into wrestling so soon is...eh, it'd have worked better with more prolonged firey stuff to start with due to the hyped heated nature of this match. Dangerous just letting out of the Ankle Lock is badly cover and just doesn't fit. Still, at least he then goes back to the knee when Maddix gets back into the ring. Chokes on the ropes are good standard heel stuff and give Maddix time to recover from some of the knee work done. Johhny keeps working over the knee, breaking on a few normally heels spots to do so, but it all works here. It all leads up to Johnny going for a Figure Four which Maddix would definatly now to counter so it's a good spot there. A lot of the history points are being brought up here just to spell things out which is a nice touch at times, but could turn to be too heavy handed. And then Johnny finally goes to the well one to many times, but the this one is starting off, Johnny is actually the heel in terms lf usual match layout and tactics. Maddix shifts his style to low end and effective, even if it makes him look like he has very little ways of beating Johnny now. Johnny just bursting out of the corners again makes no sense without some build up to a fight back. Just felt like a spot in there to lead upto the DDT. Johnny getting floored on the outside finally has some sort of normal heel/face balance going on. Nothing wrong with moving away from that, but it is a hard thing to do. The leg work is being treated as slowly wearing off, but it's not forgotten. Could use a little more desc on it during lifting moves, to show Maddix struggling. Nice, if ripped off, false finish with the Superkick/Ankle Lock/Roll Up. Three Elbow Drop scoring jsut about works. Maddix is still looking fast enough to hit both, and hey, Johhny has to sell the first two. And it just makes the kick out huge...and it only passes because it's a PPV title match. Maddix straight for another big move makes sense, trying to win while the opp is weakend. End starts to break down a bit, with the leaping of the kick into the Dragon Clutch, even with teh bad need, but it's nothing major breaking. The call of both guys being phsyically spent cames some out of the final race to the finish as things finally pick up into high gear. Again the art of a long string of false finishes which just about hang onto the story of the match and such. I dont know what the hell is up with Johnny going for the Sharpshooter rather than the Baracuda which would work much better. And Landon breaks the laws off physics with the Dangerousn Driver countered into a Victory Roll. Again the problem of Johnny bursting into life and then flopping dead, rather than something slower and more measured. Johnny kicks out of a finisher and is some how able to move on his own still, which really doesnt work. And Maddix and Card just laughin in Johnny's face just caps it all off. Good match, but it suffers from Landon stretching it out way to much and having to keep is ideas and sell together and justifying the action still going on. It can be done, yes, but it's not always that easy. Dangerous' character just about fits that mold against cruiser but Maddix isn't played as the type to take some much and keep ticking. Rating: B- 10) Triple Threat Submission - My Match I do some crap here and there and I come out with this. Yay, go me for the default win and crap like that. 11) Tag Team Title Match - 42nd Street vs Team Flip Flop LMAO @ Team Flip Flop's entrance, that one's just golden people. And the riding surfboards down the ring on blue smoke is just as golden. It's brilliant. Ok, this is comedy but TMM hitting on Andrea by pulling a Flair is really funny and adds a nice light touch to things on this PPV. Simple little start off to show set up the first balance between the two teams. It's an ever walked fine line between being comedy and just being silly all the time, but as ever this match works out well, which makes both the wrestling and comedy moments all the better. Gotta love the Mark Knixx gag as well while the sheer speed vs power and skill balance carries on. 42nd Street have no problem working against Team Flip Flop and it still makes for a good tag match. More speed playing out against skill before TMM gets disturbing and starts spanking Andrea. And the basic tag team balance cries on, with Team Flop Flip working just like in other matches to get their advantage back with the speed surprise. More twisted jokes as the action hots up and Team Flip Flop have to keep up with the antics of the more experienced tag team. Nice false finisher with Andrea making a blind tag as TMM hits his finisher and the match keeps going. And again with an nice finisher spot, the tag team finisher being countered but being turned into a doublet team move anyway. Heat section looks like it's going to end, but Birdman not holding the tag rope is a nice little spot to keep it going. Another big spot with the Bird Buster for more heat as Team Flip Flop is just trying to race their way to a victory before 42nd Street run them down. 42nd Street finally score the double team..and Birdman tries to break it up, but this time Todd is waiting for him. Good tag match with comedy mostly in the writing and not the in ring action. Pretty smooth and well writen thoughout and playing off earlier matches. Rating: B 12) Promo - Zenon, Grand Slam and Suicide King Grand Slam just turns up out of nowhere. Sell for it bitches. Stuffs been happening with GS, good for him. And he calls out Zenon and the bitch session starts up. And the Suicide King is showing up, you REALLY better mark for that one. And in the age old twist of Contract Loop Holes, Stevens in back on the roster. Ahhh, nothing like a spot on the PPV where the top brass fight it out with pulling in us lowely wrestlers. 13) Far To Bloody Long World Title Triple Threat Match - Toxxic vs Flesher vs Janus Between this match and Maddix's we have an average TV show you know. Mini tale of the tape style number with the intro graphics because this show's been all about hype. Boo and f'n' hiss at Toxxic wearing a LP tshirt with an Autobot logo on. Damn fuckers crapping on the memory more than Armarda. The escourt jokes was a good bit of comedy though. Lifting off some of the mood before the match gets too heavy. Lovely opening gamebet by Flesher just makes him look that damn good, which he is. It's an interestling match plan forming from the get go. Point though that Flesher would just about be able to German Janus...but only just. The character tight roped being walked in very fine. Flesher has the chance to win fasts, but he knows Toxxic is just sitting out, and it's a question of if he would go after him or not. But the problem of starting off so high impact so soon, as close fall so soon means it's all the harder to stretch the match out into a long one. But then things settle down and it looks much more pased. Toxxic's certainly got to the point where there's not much to say about his writing. He's definatly not Flesher but it's still good. And now Janus called Toxxic in, so the worry about Toxxic just sitting out there without anyone noticing for ages in gone. I'm almost started to feel like Janus is getting bitch out here as Toxxic comes in and picks straight up from Flesher in working Janus over. One thing that is coming up is the lack of mention of what the third man is doing. Because now there's no rush to break up the fall yes, but it leaves you thinking he's still down and selling, even from a simple move. Then it turns into everyone all to smoothly getting up just as the other person goes down. But at least Toxxic and Flesher are playing off their singles match against each other. Toxxic and Flesher are working well picking their spots against Janus, and some slight double teaming to score the first fall. Which is all well and good, but sheer rated between them isnt showing up at all really, ontop of the fact that it's always Janus being worked over and it never feels like it's the other way around for the moment. The first tap out irks me as Janus just doesnt reach back and rip Flesher off as he very well could. The same with the over leg holds as he would have the reach just to Knuckle Bomb Flesher while he went for the holds. These is the pain yes, but he doesnt really try to. And you'd think Toxxic should shot to roll up Janus and get the thee count before Flesher realised. As know the match would just be, race to pin Janus first. And now we have the race to finish Janus off first along with Toxxic and Flesher hatred playing off, but it leaves Janus as a Jericho style third wheel. Few shoot gags never hurt giving a counter point to the action going on in the match. Janus comes out of nowhere and flattens the two men as their little fued goes on and it feels a bit to sudden, lacking that talk of Janus struggling back into action. Finally Janus gets an offensive run into the match and actually looks like HE's the Champ, as he batters Flesher around and spikes him for a pin. And now things get interesting with a two horse race to lose the fastest. But having more falls sooner in the match and longer stretches to later falls might have help the tension and build, as well as allowing for Janus not to look like a chump. Janus launching Toxxic through the SAT is a nice one, but was done for story and I have to feel he as was in possistion for a Screwdriver he might of tired that, even with a bad leg. But Toxxic now getting counted out as the action goes on was set up with the stuff from the start of the match so that one works out nicely and fits to the matches logic plan which is a nice plus. But Flesher just being down only adds to the whole, people are just down and out selling inbetween spots rather than anthing more complex. Still, Flesher keeps up his role of outsmart Janus deep into the match. And with the count out which worked very well, the final race is on. But another point is missed, when Janus scores one KB, why not just combo them for a submission on Flesher? But Flesher trying to drag Janus to the ropes and play both races at the same time is an interesting spot and with Toxxic being counted out again, the race has been made very interesting. But then Flesher just takes Toxxic back in and even with the advantage of Janus being down, DOESNT take advantage of Toxxic, who then makes the shocking comeback of doom. A big race to the finisher with finisher being countered off again and again, looking to be the one that gets lucky. Which leaves a few gaps. The whole race the finish ends up being pretty interesting and Toxxic breaks out some nice ideas for winning and why the holds have to be broken up (eg the Chokehold and DQ, etc) Ends up making the best of a horrible stituion and booking through exictuion suffers from lack of knowledge and ideas (less so than before as Toxxic's getting better but some bases still arent covered) Rating: B+ grudgingly due to not being a clusterfuck at this huge lenght.
  23. Me too, but hey as long as someone enjoys it, it's all good.
  24. Very simple and because you dont have it so easy as just clicking a poll button. Say what you think was the MOTN on the PPV and why. "(Masked_Man) "OMSNAUSAGES TOXXIC WROTE 16k MOTN MOTN MOTN" The above is a joke example of what I DONT want to see as well. Really Long Matches AREN'T always Really Good Matches. This means you've all got to read the show and all that. This vote will end on FRIDAY at 23.59. That's the 6th of Aug @ 23.59 My vote will be coming after my comments.
  25. My full comments will be up when I'm back from seeing my girlfriend. They will be LONG people... but they will be there.
