  1. I don't get this. Of all the damning indictments out there for Wikipedia--the lack of sources, ability for it to be easily edited to suit one's bias, spelling and grammatical errors--you run with "pedophiles use it"?
  2. I think I feel bad for Chav.
  3. THIS ISN'T JUST ESPN ON YOUR CURRENT PHONE
  4. Whoa, Cubs won 9-3 today. Normally I'd be excited, but that just means the extension should be announced by Tuesday.
  5. Yeah, it's a good thing that we got him, and people need to get this. Enough of this "yeah....okay....but YOU DIDN'T GET BIN LADEN NOW DID YOU" crap. You guys don't need to challenge and question every single thing that happens in Iraq. There are some good things coming out of this mess, and this happened to be one of them.
  6. I think I listened to half of Telephone Free Landslide Victory and got bored with it. I had high hopes coming in, and it just wasn't as tight as Key Lime Pie was.
  7. Thinking Fellers Union Local #282 does "Green-Eyed Lady" better than Sugarloaf ever did.
  8. I'm just along for the ride here.
  9. Should've and were are different things. They were the Distant Third in Seattle grunge, behind Nirvana and Pearl Jam. They were good, yeah, but they're an also-ran in the grand scheme of things. That's just how it is.
  10. Whatever, dude. How do you think I feel?
  11. Alright, here's my effort- The "Musical Chairs" segment from two years ago was a hilarious, whimsical, brilliant segment and among the most memorable comedy bits from Raw. Here's why- *The crowd was molten hot for this. Seriously, there hasn't been this sort of a crowd reaction to any free TV segment since the Evolution breakup. *Tajiri not understanding the rules is acceptable, as is Coach's cockiness. They also had a feud going on at this point so it made even more sense. The Coach's selling of the green mist (which was pretty much dead on) was awesome. *Jerry Lawler's pursuit of Stacy Keibler was great and in the end it is still evident that he's a huge pervert, which is what they're aiming for. *Ric Flair doing the strut towards Stacy's ass was hilarious and the further dancing that folllowed was absolutely priceless. Then the push. Oh God, when he pushed her over and sat there like nothing had happened, that was absolutely perfect television. Notice he gets HUGE heat for that. Stacy broke character by laughing but who cares; it's great to see that once in a while. *Flair's freaking out was superb. His elimination was great-- it was the bad guy getting his comeuppance. *The crowd was solidly behind Jericho. The reaction to his involvement here cannot be understated. Outsmarting Tomko (they had just been feuding at the time as well) and then pulverizing him with the chair before confidently sitting down was great and got him even more support for his title match later in the night. Amazingly I think it was also the blowoff to the feud but it didn't disappoint. It was just cute, harmless stuff. Everything came together for this bit. Oh yeah, man, that really was a great segment. Everything can't be serious all the time, or you get Randy Orton promos that are just "I am Randy Orton" over and over.
  12. Okay, look. You're invited to weddings. That means they want you there for the most important day of their lives. I don't think covering the cost of it is really a big concern. Not even for Popick. Of course they're going to lose money. Anyway, just give what you can afford to give. That's all there is to it.
  13. Edge is the best heel in the company, man.
  14. Balls/Tanaka is confirmed? Man, I'm hype as fuck now. Bring on this PPV already.
  15. I'll tell you what pisses me off, it's people who wish something completely overblown and terrible on someone who temporarily inconvenienced them or was rude for a second. I'm guilty of this too, but I've been trying to cut down on the "okay, be that way, burn in hell" kneejerk reactions lately. Us 21st century humans are too easily rattled.
  16. That's cool. It's good to see that you can recognize this. I might start posting in there again soon, should something interesting enough happen. Right now it's a bunch of one-sided issues at the public fore.
  17. It's not like you produce any kind of real arguments in there. Looks like all you do is hide behind others. Your only contribution to the Loose Change thread is dumb pictures and saying "yeah, you just told him! Can we close this thread now?" over and over.
  18. Pretty damned good, I felt. First time I've seen something on opening night since Revenge of the Sith and it was worth the trip out. People who are into cars and racing like myself will enjoy this even more. There isn't much to spoil really, it's your standard gorgeous Pixar feature with the feel-good morals and all. Oh, and the short before it is hilarious.
  19. EDIT: Double Post. I'll use it to thank you guys for saying what Simon and Swinger's theme music was.
  20. I don't read too much into the "contemporary music" in regards to already established themes. He probably means the kind of music Punk is getting or whatever. New guys.
  21. Or maybe it's because Raw and Smackdown should be spaced out across the week, since both are WWE. ECW is ECW, period.
  22. My father once had a form he had to fill out in like, 1996 or '97 that showed what he was watching at different times, what channel, etc. I think Charleston is too small to attract much Nielsen attention otherwise, as I haven't seen or heard of anyone else I know being part of the biggest research group in America.
  23. Bloom County was so good.
  24. There's a Southern Utah?
