  1. :: comes out of retirement to bury Blazenwing :: Okay, not really...
  2. Thank Christ! I was starting to worry for a while there in the third...
  3. Good looking out, Duran! - Dub "the older I get, the better I was" Cee
  4. Well, I came in to give Johnny the rub, but I see that he hasn't put "pouring out a little liquor for his homie Dub Cee" into his stats, so... :: wanders off again ::
  5. Bah times two. I've been JL Champion; the World Cruiserweight Title means more to me.
  6. Easy, killer... I was mostly speaking in terms of myself; I personally turned down multiple title opportunites in pursuit of the World Cruiserweight Title, so in terms of WC, going after the ICTV title when I could go after the CW title would be a disrespect of the CW title.
  7. Bah! I should spit on you for even daring to imply that the World Cruiserweight Title is, by any standard, less important than any belt other than the World Heavyweight Title.
  8. Hrmm... Number of Cruiserweight Title contenders on Smarkdown: 4 (not even counting the other 4 cruiserweights that aren't even booked in division matches) Number of different Cruiserweight contenders I faced as champion: 3 (in 4 title defenses) So, I only got to face three different challengers in four matches, and the first week after I officially go on the inactive list, there are eight cruiserweights on the same show... This is like some kind of bad practical joke on me...
  9. Well, I already contribute financially to two different basketball forums, so the idea's hardly alien to me. But, pay for this site? Probably not.
  10. .... You'd think that us old guys would be more high-strung than you young cats; let's all go outside and get some fresh air...
  11. Who, me? I'm retired, Danny; I have no matches to steer clear of... and again, I apologize for misrepresenting you.
  12. You try to write everybody like Kawada?
  13. I think that the discussion, for the most part, is good, as I've often been interested in what the writers were thinking about when they wrote a match... aside from the borderline "jabs," the discussion has been enlightening, and only broke down for me when it started to look like Danny was arguing with Kibs about what Kibs was thinking when he wrote his match; it almost looked like this: Danny: "That spot reminded me of Match X. Kibs must have been thinking A when he wrote that spot." Kibs: "Uhh, no. I actually was thinking B when I wrote it..." Danny: "Liar!" ... Or, maybe I read the entire exchange completely wrong, in which case, I apologize to both parties for misrepresenting them...
  14. Not that it's really relevant, or anything, but my stats have been updated... I dunno; I guess I just wanted one last cry for attention before I leave.
  15. .... :: shrugs :: :: walks off into the sunset ::
  16. So... uhm... yeah. Opening promo, and shit.
  17. That's funny; I see Minnesota losing for exactly the same reasons. The Timberwolves are going to have to beat Sacramento doing what Dallas did effectively, dominating on the offensive glass, and taking advantage of the Kings' weak perimeter defense and lack of shotblocking. And, while I think that Garnett, Cassell and Sprewell are much better than Nowitzki, Nash and Finley, the rest of Minnesota's lineup falls off precipitously after that, especially with Hudson and Szczerbiak out. Basically, what it boils down to is that: 1) I think that Garnett, Cassell and Sprewell will have to beat the Kings by themselves in order to advance, and 2) I don't think they can do it.
  18. Kings Fans represent!
  19. I get a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever one of the old school guys say that they mark for WC...
  20. I want in on the act, too!
  21. SWF Favorite Writer(s): Besides myself? Goodear (as Ejiro), Johnny Dangerous, Tom Flesher and Landon Maddix; I'm afraid I'm not generally a big fan of the heavyweight style, so I have a little difficulty getting into writers whose characters are heavyweights. Favorite Promo(s): I'm not into promos, really; that Judge/Ejiro "ping-pong" promo is just about the only one that I can even remember. Favorite Match(es): Again, besides my own? My favorite matches that I didn't write include: Calvinball, Ejiro/Va'aiga (Genesis IV), Strangler/Erek Taylor (TFBC '03), ELM/Flesher (Clusterfuck '03) Favorite Stip to Write: No Gravity Match. I also enjoy Ladder matches. Quite honestly, though, I don't like ANY other stips. My Biggest Accomplishment: Winning the WORLD Cruiserweight Championship (Bow down, bitches!) I Regret That: There aren't enough writers in the SWF that care as much about the Cruiserweight Title as I do. I Wish: ... That the Cruiserweight Division were stronger. Dream Matches Involving Yourself: Wild and Dangerous/Justice and Rule, Wildchild/ELM, Wildchild/Divefire, Wildchild/Suicide King, Wildchild/Xstasy, Wildchild/Fugue Dream Matches: Tom Flesher/Suicide King, Ejiro Fasaki/ELM, Frost/Va'aiga I've Become Most Friendly With: Johnny & Ejiro. I don't really talk to anyone else, to tell the truth. I think all of you guys are great, and I respect you as writers, but the simple fact is that I have a lot of difficulty relating to most of you guys outside of this fed; not only is Mark the only guy in the fed that's older than me, but most of you are anywhere between nine and fourteen years younger than me; there just isn't a lot of common ground. I Hope: ... that if I come back, that I can revitalize the Cruiserweight Division. Personal Name (First name works, last name if you don't care): Curtis Mills Single: Separated Have Most Trouble: ... budgeting my time. Favorite Things to Do: Basketball and wrestling; since me and my ex split, that's pretty much been my whole life. Most Recent Accomplishment: getting the fuck out of Hawaii without getting court-martialed. Most Recent Failure: my marriage Favorite Bands: Not really any "bands" that I listen to; my favorite singers that are out right now are: Jon B, Musiq and Christina Aguilera. Favorite Book: Damn near anything by Robert Heinlein Favorite Movie: Kill Bill, Vol's 1 and 2 Favorite Actor: Jodie Foster One Song to Listen to On Repeat: "Gone Before Light," by Jon B. Either that, or "Addicted to You (Up-in-Heaven Mix)," by Hikaru Utada One Item You'd Save During A Fire: My son; there's no non-living thing that I'd brave a fire to save; come to think of it, there aren't a lot of living things that I'd brave a fire to save, either. Something You Want to Get Into To: A big-tittied woman. Biggest Regret/Mistake: My biggest mistake was marrying my whore of an ex-wife; honestly, I should have kicked her to the curb when I found out that she cheated on me before we got married. My biggest regret is the fact that, no matter how hard I try, I can't make myself stop loving her. Biggest Turn On: Large breasts (preferably "D" or above; "C" is acceptable) Biggest Turn Off: Smoking and/or drug use. If You Died and Went To Heaven, What Do You Want God to Say: "Big-tittied redheads are on the left, big-tittied brunettes are on the right, and big-tittied Asians are right down the street." How About Going to Hell, Devil says: "Hey! You're not on my list! Must have been a typo..."
  22. Well... that's... interesting...
  23. (Y) Give yourself a pat on the back, Toxxic; you wrote a helluva match. And you now have more wins over me than the last three World Heavyweight Champions... combined...
