I'll try to sit down and give some sort of comments at another time, if I can be bothered... For now, though, I have a question and a comment: Comment: Wildchild can't suplex two-forty. Question: Why did you have Wild and Dangerous come out to "Party to Damascus," as opposed to our actual music?

I was astonished when I went to visit my family in Georgia and saw that they still had an Aldi's. I was shocked because: 1 - I thought that it was a chain exclusive to Illinois, and 2 - I thought they went out of business twenty years ago; Aldi's is like the goodwill of supermarket chains (or at least they were, the last time I'd been to one), and when they moved out of North Chicago, I figured that they'd gone the way of the dodo. And Mr. Rant, I loved Safeway when I was stationed in Bremerton; of course, with the schedule I tend to keep, I'm a big fan of any place that sells food that's open twenty-four hours, but they also have this kick-ass blue raspberry soda at Safeway, too.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007Mr. S£im Citrus replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder Where? On ECW? If they get a second hour they should consider it. As for now, it would be too much of a tangle to have another mid-card belt WCW had a TV title, too. They're already using the US title... I don't think that ECW really needs another belt

You'd rather they job an establish character out to the designated flavor of the month just so they can give him a push that likely won't have amounted to anything three months from now? Myself, I'd rather not see Matt Hardy and whoever else get fed to Mark Henry, for however long they're doing whatever it is they're doing with him. We know that when a wrestler gets lots of tv time, and promos and/or vignettes, that they're in line for a push. We know that, when said pushed wrestler is booked in a match against basically anybody besides the champion, that it's pretty much a lead-pipe cinch that whoever they're in the ring with is going to job... They don't need to use established stars for that.

Lindsay Lohan Booked On Suspicion of DUIMr. S£im Citrus replied to haVoc's topic in Television & Film What, was she armed? How does a hundred-pound chick "hijack" an SUV with three adult males in it? Were they all daydreaming up until the point that she actually sat in the seat and turned the key in the ignition? Were they all drunk/stoned, too?

Don't hate on the squash match, man. Squash matches are how they used to establish a wrestler's moveset, and get him over. More squash matches accomplishes two things, in my opinion, both of which are positives for wrestling: 1) decreases the frequency in which name talent has to face each other on tv/ppv, making it more significant and interesting when they do wrestle. 2) more signatures/finishers, less rollups.

TNA Impact Spoilers for July 19th and 26thMr. S£im Citrus replied to DangerousDamon's topic in TNA Wrestling I'd settle for being told how he went from being the "enforcer" of Team Canada to The Most Coveted Free Agent Since Randy Savage™ to Robert V.K. Wallstreet... Because nobody in the history of wrestling has ever changed gimmick. Nope. Nobody. Ever. And that's exactly the point I was making, too...

TNA Impact Spoilers for July 19th and 26thMr. S£im Citrus replied to DangerousDamon's topic in TNA Wrestling Is there anybody in TNA who embodies "his ring entrance is more over than he is" than Robert Roode? Wait... you mean Roode's entrance is not over? Well, I like it, anyway; wouldn't kick Traci out of bed, either...

Co-sign the Wu-Tang love. Besides, have we ever had a PPV besides Genesis where the theme wasn't a rock song? Let's mix it up!

Maybe you can't, but I can. And I obviously do. Like they worked out for the Hornets when Kobe held out? Yeah, getting Vlade Divac in return for one of the top players in history sure was a "sweet deal." Or how about how it worked out for the Colts when they traded Elway?

No, this isn't a hard sell; why do you ask?

I realize that; and the Players did the original. I'm just saying (for whatever my opinion's worth) that if the Carnival had used the original Ohio Players' version, instead of the RHCP cover or whatever they used, it would have been way cooler. But then again, I'm also a Black American child of the seventies, and don't listen to a whole lot of rock music, so I'm probably a little biased towards the Players...
-
Fine; it would increase CIA's cool quotient by a factor of a million. I'm just incredulous that anybody, in the Carnival or otherwise, would pick some garbage-ass cover by RHCP over the bad-assery of the Ohio F'n Players.
-
I give a shit, that's who... Matter of fact, you know what? Fuck you and Team Yi... I didn't like it when Kobe pulled this bullshit, I liked even less when Steve Francis did it, and I like even less now; trick ain't earned the right to fucking call his own shot...
-
	Can Bruner get some action?
-
But why didn't they just use the real song? That would have raised the Carnival's cool quotient by a factor of a million.
