  1. It might even be bigger than Oasis!
  2. You were here before? As whom?
  3. Good job on the WHC Title History, whomever did that; any plans to catch up the other titles?
  4. Feud? What feud? I just dropped the belt to Jakey; there's no feud to speak of. I took my rematch for the WCC because I was entitled to it, and then I dropped the belt because I thought that it was in the best interests of the Cruiserweight Division to let someone else try to get and get the belt over without me particularly being involved, just like I did in 2005 (which, much to my chagrin, did not appear to be particularly successful). I didn't do it to give Jakey any kind of rub (I figure that's your job, Toxx... ). I didn't do it to feud with Jakey; as far as I'm concerned, there is no feud. I mean, I'm certainly not opposed to feuding with Jakey, but I didn't drop the belt to him for the purpose of feuding... in fact, if I'd meant to actually feud with him, I'd have written to win and kept the belt on WC until the feud was over with. The only logical reason that I can think of to drop a belt in the middle of a feud is if I was planning to put myself over in the end, which would have defeated the purpose of me dropping the belt to begin with.
  5. My son liked it; he wasn't feeling Galactus, but he thought the rest of the movie was good.
  6. A New Blood title? What does that mean for the other singles titles? Interesting choice for the fourth member of R-0, but I'm still not sure what the aim is of this version. I mean, at least before, you had Toxxic and three established (and, more importantly, accomplished) SWF stars. This time around, a rookie, a has been, and a never was (I'll let you two decide amongst yourself which is which ), and I don't know what the purpose is. I thought Toxxic had said he wanted this version of R-0 to be more like the Carnival, but have they pranked anybody besides Drake? Do they even do joke promos? So, is Spike supposed to be a CM Punk clone now, or did I just read the match wrong? Johnny versus Bruner for a shot at Ground Zero... so he probably wouldn't appreciate it too much if I write as Bruner to win and beat him, would he? And, as for the return of , that's always good stuff.
  7. Office costs like $150.00 US. And you can usually get a standalone copy of Word at any computer expo for, like, twenty bucks. Buy a copy, you cheap bastard.
  8. I only have one concern: will a ten year-old like it?
  9. Did Savage ever do commentary for WCW?
  10. Memo to CC: I can only work tag matches for the forseeable future.
  11. The last guy related to Pretzler didn't work out too well for us, did he?
  12. That's not the point: why am I having to read the show to find out what my tag team partner's plans are?
  13. The hell? Clark might know what you have planned? Why the hell don't *I* know what you have planned? Wouldn't it affect me, too?
  14. What are you talking about, Johnny? I've never wrestled Taamo at a Christmas PPV.
  15. Not you, I was talking about what Johnny said.
  16. Dude, it's not even a question of *if* I could have won it; I had a WHC match against Ejiro where I was told three days before the deadline that Ejiro wasn't going to show... I could have written a haiku and become the WHC. I didn't want it. And, like I've told Johnny before, it's not that I'm absolutely unwilling to go after the World Heavyweight Championship, it's that I have a specific plan in mind for Wildchild's road to pursue that belt, and I'm not willing to deviate from it. And, since there's not enough time before the pending close of the fed for me to implement that plan the way I want to, then there's not going to be any WHC for WC... The one deviation to my plan that I would have accepted would have been to have had a WHC match in the Bahamas.
  17. Toxxic got pinned. I remember because I wrote it; we won with the Silver Bullet, and we wouldn't have been able to get Davis up for the Silver Bullet. EDIT - okay, you found it, cool. Saves me from having to dig it up.
  18. Also, since everybody knows how much I love to talk about me, let me just speak on that "selfishness" comment; it's not that I'm not selfish when it comes to the WCC. In fact, it's exactly the opposite: I'm sure that most people in the fed would say that I have what they would describe as an "inflated" sense of worth of the WCC, but I really believe in it, and I want to see it have a prominent position in the fed. In order for that to happen, somebody besides me has to be able to get over with the belt (and get the belt over). And if that means I have to drop the WCC to somebody else, I'm happy to do that. I would just like to see somebody besides me treat the WCC like it's something that they actually want to have, rather than as some kind of auxiliary prop, or as a cheap punchline, or as a stepping stone to another title.
  19. By the way, Clark, what you are referring to is an homage to Gorilla Monsoon, who always used to preface matches like that... I've said up top in the General forum that my favorite announce team of all time was Ventura/Monsoon, with my second-favorite being Ventura/Ross; I've always tried to write King as Ventura, and I tend to prefer write Mak as being a mix between 86-89 Monsoon and 91-93 Jim Ross. But yeah, I'm quite partial to that "bell's gone, and we're underway!"
  20. Hardcore matches aren't hard to write at all... at least, not to me; hell, spotfests are my specialty. I feel like I could beat Drea in a Hardcore Title match if I gave it my best effort... but I wouldn't do any such thing, even if I were booked in a title match, because I have no regard for the Hardcore title.
  21. Newhart
  22. Man, San Antonio is beating Cleveland down like they ain't shit...
