How does ODB fit into this?

Not being a hardcore baseball fan, and not having any sort of emotional investment in either the Phillies or the Rays, there's only one thing I want to know about the World Series: What's the free taco count?

I have difficulty relating to the premise, but I find there to be two very good reasons for watching this show: Christina Hendricks.

So, after the pinfall, are they going to call "cut?"

Me Against the World was released in 1995, wasn't it? I was under the impression that CDs were the most common method of listening to music long before then. '95 was when I went to boot camp. I didn't have a CD player until then; didn't see a need. But, since I couldn't take my crap to boot camp with me, and was in no hurry to have it sent to me when I finished, I bought all new stuff... And, since I was able to get a portable CD player at a "reasonable" price in '95 (and had a shiny new paycheck burning a hole in my pocket), I bought one.

I'd had a respectable vinyl and cassette collection as a teenager, but I was already in the Navy before I bought my first CD... Which happened to be: EDIT - That's not strictly accurate: I bought that CD my first duty-free weekend out of boot camp, but I also bought four other CD's from the same store at the same time. I could swear I heard Stand Back in the background of some promo or other they had on PTW. Might have been the previous episode, though; I can't recall.

Damn my early indoctrination... stupid Father and Son game... I'm not a big baseball guy, but my pops was born and raised in Chicago, and he's a lifelong Cubs fan. So, for his sake, I'm rooting for the Cubs.

I always felt the same way about Ventura in WCW. It was never the same listening to him and Jim Ross compared to Ventura and Monsoon or McMahon I gotta beg to differ on that; Ventura/Ross is my second-favorite announce team ever, behind only Ventura/Monsoon.

I never understood why they put Beth and Melina in an "I Quit" match, and then sent them out to do a glorified submissions match. I mean, I like Divas matches way more than the average poster on this board, but I wasn't really feeling that match aside from the finish; maybe I just have high expectations for an I Quit match.

I am conflicted on this; on the one hand, I turned in something on time, as promised... but it's not very much, and you probably won't be very happy with it. On the other hand, if an extension were granted, I'd probably either have to stick Bo with writing it, or be faced with a no-show loss, because I don't know how much I'm feeling the idea of writing a whole new "PPV worthy" match. Now, if you'd like to do a rematch down the line, on the other hand...

Ever since I first got a DVR, I've made it a rule to never watch anything other than sporting events live (And, if it's not the Kings or the Monarchs, I may not even watch that live). Bo and WC will have something. I don't know how good it's going to be, since I have yet to find out how much of the match I'm going to have to write by myself (if it indeed comes to that), but we'll have something.
