  1. It's time for the Rumble, the ROOOOOOOOOOOYAL Rumble! Featuring this year's participants! Teee-to Santannnnnnnnna! The WARRRRRRRRRRRRLord! CrrrAOHsh! THE IMMORRRRTAL, HAAAAAAAAAAALK HOGANNNNNNN! The ALLLTIMATE Warrior! and so on.
  2. Is Paul Bako better than Michael Barrett? The Cubs should just use him more if that's the case.
  3. I am one of those most people. Hey, question. After The Wall, Roger kicked Richard Wright out. But when Roger left after The Final Cut, why didn't Dave Gilmour bring Rick back in? Did both guys dislike him?
  4. Animals IS friggin great. Dogs, Pigs, and Sheep are all amazing, in that order of amazeatude. Obscured by Clouds (1972), Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), and The Wall (1979). That is like the best five consecutive albums in history, I think. All so so so very great.
  5. I love my pets. Shut up Banky
  6. Is "Bestbuy" that "Best Buy Team Member Since 1998" guy from WDI?
  7. Don't forget Bill "Sure you can have Steve Sullivan for a second-round draft pick" Wirtz.
  8. Nothing, really. Like I said, I think of Joe Sakic and Steve Yzerman as in charge of their respective teams moreso than whoever Colorado's coach is and Dave Lewis. Scotty Bowman was a good coach, yes. But look how absolutely loaded his last four Stanley Cup teams were. With Lemieux, Jagr, Francis, the Samuelssons, and Kevin Stevens, of course you're going to win. Likewise with the Red Wings, though the '97 roster was notably different than the 2002 roster other than Yzerman, Lidstrom, and Fedorov. It's also worth noting that New Jersey's three Stanley Cups in the nine years were each won by a different (although trap-playing all the same) coach. But it's hockey so damned if I know their names.
  9. Mole tastes like crab but talks like people. Ban him!
  10. Keep in mind that colleges don't just look at your SAT/ACT scores, they also take into account your GPA, the courses you've taken, your class ranking, and any extracurricular activities you've been involved in. And you have multiple times to take the SAT, too, so if you're not happy with this score try taking it again and see what happens. Ironic that you say that...for me it's always been about taking solace that they look at ACT, strength of schedule, and extracurriculars despite GPA/rank.
  11. You don't know me! You don't know me! Yeah I know Jerry Springer and Jenny Jones tape in Chicago, likely at the NBC Tower. I don't know where Maury is though.
  12. That's a pretty weird question to ask them so frankly like that.
  13. Agreed. Down with the DH rule. American League sucks.
  14. How does one procure a spot at the college radio station? As somebody going into college next year, it's always something I've wanted to try, as my family has had a history in the radio business. Do I need to major in communications?
  15. Look what Jerry Sloan did with the Utah Jazz this year. The coaching isn't everything, but it's definitely something. I'd say football coaches are the most important and hockey coaches the least. In hockey, the coaches come and go like nothing, as we see, and the captain is probably more integral in a lot of cases.
  16. Bob Backlund vs. George Hackenschmidt: The battle of the guys that got screwed over. Also sub Hart in for Backlund if needed, ora 3-way
  17. He was buried alongside the first five Ultimate Warriors. And the other 3 Undertakers. Come on, there were clearly FOUR Undertakers. And that's not counting the fake one. Mark Calloway has only been the Undertaker since this year.
  18. The best room in the Temple was the Jester's Court, or the Room Of The Three Gargoyles. One of the two. Honorable mention to the Laser Light Room and dishonorable mention to the Shrine Of The Silver Monkey...I HATED THAT ROOM! It was in every episode. The only time it was good was when the girl dropped the monkey head down from the second story and the Temple Guard threw it back up. Threw it up like the vomit that is The SotSM. BUT the real question: Legends of the Hidden Temple > Finders Keepers or Finders Keepers > Legends of the Hidden Temple That host on Finders Keepers amused me...I was watching Nick GAS on New Year's Eve Eve or something and the host was like "You can spread some trash and make some cash!!!" and then he froze his fake smile, turned it into a frown, shook his head, sort of mouthed "What am I doing here" and went on. It was great. You don't see that self-loathing dry sarcasm on Nickelodeon these days.
  19. In contrast to the usual "getting laid in spite of TSM"
  20. I'm hitting Dark Side burnout...I cannot appreciate the following songs anymore: Time Money The Great Gig In The Sky "Us and Them" and "Any Colour You Like" will remain safe always, thoguh.
  21. As a matter of fact, I've got a hankerin' for killing a woman and then raping her dead body right now as we speak. So are you kidding about what you said? You must've been kidding. Seriously.
  22. He was buried alongside the first five Ultimate Warriors.
  23. Pudding pops > sno-cones from Rosemont. That other thread in Old School made me bring up that disgusting story. Yeesh
  24. True. Same with the Maple Leaf building. Yeah MLG has a look, the seats that are steep on two sides and go far back on the other two...I think I know what you mean. Cool cool building. Oddly enough, the Rosemont Horizon, of all places, has a distinct look...the big wooden roof, plus the Daily Herald ads that scream "suburbia." They really cleaned that building up when they changed the name to Allstate Arena. Though their sno-cones are another story. Oh dear.
  25. Points to Stunt Granny for the best no-selling of a question I've seen in some time. And what a question to no-sell.
