  1. Sly Sommers versus Crystal...when totally platonic male and female friends COLLIDE~!~!~!~!~!~! Plus, some tag team stuff, maaaaan.
  2. Thanks for the song.
  3. #19 for the TPI is Nigel McGuinness, according to the IWA Chat Room.
  4. John Stamos was Jesse, not Joey. Joey was Dave Coulier.
  5. Those reviews of are Patrick McGovern's, who's, in my opinion, the best reviewer on the Internet. As far as the Tom Collinses of the world, all I have to say is come to the site and read our stuff. If you like it, cool. If you don't, it's diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.
  6. Click Here. That's Romeo Bliss, formerly of NWA Wildside. This isn't actually his reality TV debut, as he also was on ABC Family's "My Life Is A Sitcom" at one point.
  7. OAOAST September Showdown...?
  8. FUCK MTV2 AND THE DISH NETWORK PROGRAM GUIDE! They apparantly switched True Lifes, and are showing the High School one now. Damn.
  9. It's on at 11 PM Eastern, aka twenty minutes from now, on MTV2.
  10. I liked the Best of 2002 tape; outside of Rey Jr. half-assing it against Ace Steel and the Corp/Pondo match, I didn't think anything was outright not worth buying the tape over.
  11. If Bill Behrens hadn't sadly turned into a Jarrett go-fer, I would say that there'd at least be a hair raised by now.
  12. Personally, I haven't really liked Jimmy Jacobs's non-Shelley work at all for months now. He seemed so unmotivated. He was showing little glimmers of hope at the last Highland show, so I'm more than willing to give him another chance, in case it was just the stale gimmick that was holding him back.
  13. Jimmy Jacobs/Delirious is still for the IWA Light Heavyweight Title, but now Jacobs is going in as champion, as he won it tonight from Delirious at a CCW show in Evansville. Ian Rotten's been booking there for a while now.
  14. Meltzer said that Jamal from Three Minute Warning is at the TNA Asylum, and might be used tonight.
  15. Hoff, a PFL is a half-nelson Michinoku Driver, and the biggest, baddest, too hot fo' TV fo' sheezy move in the land. Thanks everyone. Here's to no one bringing booze or strippers (that's for next year, when I become legal.)
  16. If anyone cares, there's a Joe Schmoe 2 Marathon on Spike TV right now, running until 5 PM (4 PM Central), when MXC comes on.
  17. It's 411; what did you expect?
  18. According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, Aries/Dragon was originally going to be two hours and forty-five minutes, but they called an audible in the ring and decided to "only" go eighty.
  19. From the IWA message board...
  20. IWA-MS April Bloodshowers 2004 IWA-MS Simply the Best 5 ROH Reborn: Chicago PWG Tango & Cash Invitational IWA-MS One More Time
  21. If only everyone were exposed to the awesomeness of Eddie Kingston in IWA and Steven Prazak in Wildside...
  22. BARBED WIRE PERGATORY: Sly Sommers vs. Calvin Szechstein FOUR WAY TAG: Bryants vs. RAS vs. Frankensteiners vs. Skull Kid & Skull Mask
  23. Sabian - Little spot-monkey type from CZW who made a name for himself by rudely doing what every straight man wants to do, that being grabbing the plentiful ass of the Bouncing Bodacious Barefoot Big Booty Baby Becky Bayless. I heard he had a Chikara match with Joker that was excellent, but I haven't seen it yet. Larry Sweeney - I think he's that guy from the ?WA that Mikey Whipwreck ran that did the fisherman gimmick. Not sure though. Hallowicked - One of the more advanced students from the Chikara school. Relies more on the lucha-style submissions than a lot of other lucha-based indy workers these days. Watch out for his match against Rainman from the July 23rd "Tap Out City" IWA Mid-South show (now at SMV), tremendous stuff especially considering it was the first time either man had met in person, let alone wrestled each other. Excalibur - Funniest mofo ever. Pretty stylish, great commentator, and he just happens to be able to wrestle well too. Isn't that awesome? Disco Machine - Decent worker, nothing special. I do love the entrance though (making the referee and/or ring announcer hold a tiny disco ball over his head as he dances under it). Shawn Daivari - Not too good of a worker IMO, does the previously mentioned stereotypical Indian gimmick, including the Magic Carpet Ride. You could pass on this guy and not miss anything.
  24. The Bryant Cousins make their in-ring debut against Tom Goran & Mike Hunt. Plus, some details about a match for the HeldDOWN~! after this one.
  25. Here's the list as follows (EDIT- commercial just played again, and..) Kid Kash Sonjay Dutt Amazing Red Petey Williams AJ Styles Chris Sabin Michael Shane Frankie Kazarian Jerry Lynn Nosawa 10 others.. I know... Jarelle Clark Mikey Batts The scroller also mentioned Nigel McGuinness and Miyamoto.
