  1. I like how the cover is similar to all the old covers.
  2. You're getting them for things you love, which is good. It's when people get them for passing fads or just because "they look cool" that I don't fucking care about. Like the difference between my friends Jason and Sarah, for example. Sarah has two tattoos: a heart with crossbones behind it, and one of those two-colored stars. The heart is a takeoff on the Murder City Devils logo, I do believe (either that or Less Than Jake, her two favorite bands), and MCD was her ex-boyfriend's (they never broke up: he died) favorite band, so she got a takeoff on the symbol. The star, however, is to cover up a scar from an attempted suicide, and since the symbol has become somewhat adopted into the punk scene, and she has been part of the Southeastern MA punk scene for years, it makes sense. Jason has but one tattoo: a spade with a 13 in the middle to celebrate his love for Johnny Cash. While I do think that the tattoo is quite cool, and I don't doubt that he has other reasons for it besides his admiration of the Man in Black, I don't think he put TOO much thought into it.
  3. 1. Okay, Danny. Let's just throw the obsessive anime fucks into the concentration camps. This isn't an ethnic cleansing...it's a CLEANSING OF THE EARTH'S SPIRIT AS ONE. 2. Ravenbomb quoted me in his sig? When and why? 3. Kapout, you are correct sir. HI-OOOOOOOO
  4. No, I see it too. Maybe... **BIG's mom rips off wig, revealing herself to be Dave Chappelle** Dave: IT'S ME, BITCH!
  5. Audioslave good. Seether bad. What's with good bands taking terrible bands along with them on tour?
  6. Nevermind the fact that Gwar was tearing shit up years before anybody in Slipknot was even a senior in high school...or that KISS defined theatrical rock, and that every 80's band was all about image over musical quality, just like Slipknot... ...fuck Corey Taylor. I guarantee you it was his idea to file suit, since Slipknot's popularity has waned ever since their fans began realizing how terrible they were.
  7. I never understood the whole "get a million piercings" thing, be it for men or women. Ink I can understand, but most people get ink for the wrong reasons. Fratboys getting Asian characters that say "honor" and "strength" when they themselves are not of Asian heritage, are not honorable, and are only strong in large numbers; fans of a band getting their logo tattoo'd because they believe they'll still be a fan of that band years later when the music has no real staying power (though I may possibly be guilty of this when I get my Fiend); friends all getting some crazy or cute design on their hips/lower backs that don't mean anything. If you're gonna get ink, make it fucking mean something. Some people get full sleeves that tell a story, others to help remember parts of their lives, and others to show to the world what their beliefs and values are. So if you go in and get a tribal symbol because "dude, it looks cool," then fuck you, because in a few years you're going to go "man, I wish I never got this." Mucho respect to those that served in the military and got the logo of their particular branch (marines, navy, army, air force, etc.) done with their troop number, and to those who have the names of fallen friends and family on their body (as I plan on getting as well). Yeah. If you're getting a tattoo, make it mean something. Another reason why I hate emofucks: "Hey guys, look at my cool turtle tattoo! And look at this girl's Playboy Bunny!"
  8. While we're at it, let's throw anime fans into the mix of machomen and emofucks to get eradicated with some Zyklon B. Pink is a very wimpy, very displeasing color that should only be worn in attempts at comedic irony (such as pink t-shirts with phrases such as "Keep Laughing, This Is Your Girlfriend's Shirt" on them and whatnot) or if you're on a makeover show and have no real choice.
  9. However, they're "best of" compilations, very little footage of which is younger than a year old, so that apparently doesn't count as they don't distribute their events nationally.
  10. Mushroomhead, Graves-era Misfits, Rob Zombie, Fozzy, Zombie Apocalypse, and Avenged Sevenfold.
  11. Check out The Faint. Quite a few of these pseudo "new wave" bands around totally ripped off The Faint.
  12. Hayabusa has more heart for the sport of wrestling than any other person I've ever heard of. Broke his neck, couldn't feel anything below it, and told the ref to keep the match going? Addressed the fans and told them he may have just died for the promotion!? That's fucking loyalty and dedication, right there. May he one day regain the ability to walk. Hayabusa does mean "phoenix," you know, and he'll rise again.
  13. Wow. I've only seen his work from the XEG distributed CZW DVDs, but I dug it, and his heel character during the feud with Sonjay Dutt (dunno when it was, but it's highlighted on the Aerial Assault DVD) was pretty damn good. Sucks that he's dead and I didn't even get to see much of his work. How long until a tribute tape comes out so I can see just how good this guy really was? I loved the Joker/Cash Ladder match and the Cash/Dutt match I saw, so I'm interested in seeing more.
  14. More people would have legitimate chances at becoming a main eventer, in my eyes. Why? Because even when he was still around, Rock knew that he had to put people over for there to be a business after he one day left. He got that from being buddies with Austin and Foley, who both put people over (Austin if he felt they deserved it, and he was dead-on with who he felt deserved to be put over, ie. Guerrero, Jericho, Angle, Benoit; Foley with whoever he was asked to put over) while having great matches. Ratings would only be a little higher than they are now because The Rock has this presence to him that most other main eventers from the Attitude Era just didn't have, and he'd have had a better feud with Shawn Michaels, IMO. Christian would be at least a permanent upper-midcard fixture while he worked on his ring skills, and I'm also willing to bet that Hurricane and Rosey would have more on-screen time (since Rosey IS Rock's cousin, and Hurricane and Rock got along because both were great at comedic timing in their skits). BUT...when HHH returned, he'd pop a rating due to how much of a presence he was in 2000 and early 2001, and if he decided to stay full-time we might be back in the situation we are now, or we could be back to the situation we were at in 2000, where Hunter would put people over without losing the match (see: Michinoku, TAKA; Jericho, Chris; Benoit, Chris).
  15. You mean the bihawks? Road Warrior Hawk-style? It won't catch on because it's too real punk to catch on.
  16. Hatebreed. Radiohead. DropKick Murphys. All of my friends love one of those bands. I can't fucking stand any of them.
  17. Hyping him as working WWE and then rejecting it for TNA would actually put him and TNA over pretty decently to people that tune into Impact when it's on Spike.
  18. Bale wouldn't be too bad as Bond...but he's already inked for the new Batman series.
  19. If this is true and not just a joke (for some reason, the wording does make it seem like a joke), then he better come back and team Bentley/Shane/whatever. KazariShane was a damn good tag team, and made both men (neither of which I was a fan for at all) entertaining.
  20. Could be a parody of Earl Hebner. Remember what he said on the mic once during the whole "Down with the Brown" and "Back the Mac" era of Teddy Long managing D'Lo and then that...other...guy...? Hebner got on the stick at a house show and said "if you ain't white, you ain't right," and got a shitload of heat for it from everybody.
  21. And I'm still happy that Jack Daniels and Jager have yet to be assimilated by the Emo Corps.
  22. Every guy I've ever met that wore pink was either a faggoty-ass fratboy, an actual homosexual male, or pussy-ass emokids. ...which is why I had a friend write "EMO KIDS FUCK OFF" on my back with a pink sharpie yesterday at Warped Tour.
  23. SOD > Anthrax I can't stand most 80's Anthrax because of Belladonna's voice. It makes Anthrax sound like a fucking glam rock band when their music is all thrashy, and they improved leaps and bounds sound-wise with Bush. Musically, yeah, they got worse, but that's because they did most of what they could when they were younger.
  24. If they do decide to eventually use Bane...using the Knightfall story-arch would make me mark the fuck out.
  25. That's the wonderful thing about zombies, Yuna: for some unknown reason, whatever reanimated them doesn't require bloodflow to the muscles to make them move. They're capable of basic movements (grabbing, lunging, biting, walking, etc.), but not much else, and it's a mystery as to why they're even reanimated. I'll split up the attack plan for a victim into the two types (slow and fast). A slow zombie would shuffle up to its victim, probably from behind while they're focusing on something else (slow zombies are surprisingly intelligent when it comes to a plan of attack, and use guerilla warfare often), and then lunge at them, wrapping its arms around them and taking a chunk of their flesh between their teeth while they screamed in both surprise and pain. A fast zombie would run head-on with its victim, chasing it down before tackling it to the ground, where it would begin ripping at them and biting chunks of flesh off. Slow zombies = guerilla warfare. Fast zombies = blitzkrieg.
