After Lockdown has gone off the air, Coy and Alan sit inside the Wayward Son dressing room. “I can’t believe you are leaving, man” “I know, Clark…but at least you got a tag title shot.” “Yeah, but now I don’t have a partner.” “You’ll find somebody. Look, you knew about this. I told you a few weeks ago that tonight would be the last show and we should just roll with the punches. I didn’t know Zenon was going to book this, but we went out on top and now you can go after those tag titles.” “You know I’ll go in that ring alone for you.” “Ditto, partner. I just haven’t felt the same since leaving the family behind. I need to go back and spend some time with them.” “It’s cool. Wayward Pride~!” The two men share a high-five. “Alan, Mike and Todd can be beaten. They aren’t invincible…whether you have a partner or not.” “I know. I’ll think of something, just make sure you sit around with your family and watch the match.” “Oh I’ve talked to them already. The West clan will be cheering you on to victory!” “Thanks…” The two stand and walk out of the dressing room with their bags and pause for a moment. Coy and Alan share a simple handshake and a small hug before turning in opposite directions and walking away from each other, not knowing if it’s the last time either will see each other face to face. …Wayward…Son…Pride… OOC: it was hard for me to come up with a way to make this storyline change happen, but I think I gave something an end without completely ending it and always setting up a chance for a reunion down the line.

I'm SO boned. this always happens to me.

So, I'm really bored, and with my love of the tag division I thought I'd throw this little conversation piece out there. So...list any two SWFers (or JLers...or MLers....or whatever) that you would have loved to have seen team up (if even for just one match). 1) Wildchild & HVT (both as heels) AKA "The Fast & The Furious" - Never seen WC as a heel, but I think that if the character would have had a cocky attitude and busted out those insane stunts to piss off the crowd, a teaming with HVT would have been fun. Also, it would be the ultimate in a Power & Speed team, and i'm sure some great spots could come out of that with those two. 2) Bobby Riley & Annie Onita/Eclectic AKA "The Other Team" - just for some of the commentary I would have loved to have seen something like this...though I know Riley never actually wrote his character in the way that it is currently portrayed. Yeah..I could only come up with two...but it's late and i'm tired.

Second Row? Buy a white shirt and right "PUSH ME!" on it in big letters (or where a board ala Mankind during the "PICK ME" days leading up to the Dude Love/Austin tandem) and then stand near the barricade when HHH comes out and hope he sees you. If that's too hard, try reading Chyna's book by the barricade as he does his entrance and PRAY he sees you. Look very interested. When Kane comes out, drape a black towel over your head and mock him. Hell...mock EVERYBODY. Do Eugene's wave, Christian's posing, Batista's posing, yell "COME ON BABY" at Jericho, do the water spit along with HHH if you can (especially if you are on the side he does it), do Randy's posing.... just mock the shit out of everyone. Some signs: I PAID TO SEE HEAT Johnny Nitro is the Leak! I Came To See Willy The Worker! My Other Sign Is At Nitro! A sign that says "More Over Than Cade" with arrows pointing in all directions.

yes...i know you were Super Undefeated Landon for a while. i think after losing my first match to Todd...i went undefeated through July (and won Superstar of the Month to boot) before getting my ass kicked around by EngDrag (though i no-showed those cause i didn't want the Euro Title at that point). -
Looking back...I loved the Bodydonnas. They were cheap heel heat nearly at it's finest and I remember enjoying watching them get kicked around. Also, the blue-blood HHH brought forth THE BOW~ which I still use to this day. I'm not sure if he took it from anyone, but i stole it. The only thing I've come to regret about HHH...was that it was him, in character, that brought in Sable. The rest of the gimmicks were crap, sure...and the main event scene was horrible, but don't pull everything down. The biggest thing I remember about 1999 was...sadly...November 17th...Raw Is Love. Sure, there were a few other bright spots over the year (Rock/Foley for instance) but for the most part that's all I can remember from that time period...though I don't have much of a long term memory to begin with.

MYTH: The WWE truly cares what Scott Kieth thinks. TRUTH: Scott Kieth thinks that this move will really make everyone in the offices care enough to completely change their shows around and make the dozen fans he has consider himself edgy and cool by saying he's better than a tv show. Watch Vince McMahon cry. Watch Dammit! SECOND TRUTH: Scott Kieth has about as much pull in the world of sports entertainment as a scottish terrier has tied to an 18 wheeler.

didn't you win your first match, Triple Crown Landon? -
Nah...he's a roadie for Limp Bizkit. I think I saw him on MTV once, wearing a red Yankee's hat backwards and "giving props to his boys"
-
I still showed, Todd Dammit! - Uncrowned Alan

EDIT: Nevermind...as was just mentioned I wouldn't want to see Lex anywhere near my TV ever again. I wouldn't mind seeing Sting again, if just for a few months, to see what kind of reactions he gets and to see if he could hold his own in the ring anymore.

What in bloody hell am I supposed to do NOW? *prepares to scrape entire match and kill self*

Orton has had a long run by today's standards...having him lose it for two months isn't going to destroy his credibility...and he'd probalby be even more over as a heel when he won it back because of the dastardly heel things he would do to try and get it back would be alot better than the dastardly heel things he does to keep it.
-
I want the song "April 29,1992" to be in this game. SO very much. I would riot to that and just mow people down with gunfire.
-
Orton will lose the title to Benjamin. Maybe Orton will win it back after two months or something, but I could see a good little reign for Shelton even if Orton was to win it back. Sadly...Jericho is almost in that level where he really shouldn't hold the IC Title but at the same token he could aim for the World Title...but he shouldn't win it either right yet. He needs something high profile and booked to perfection to get the fans to buy him as a big threat and a great champion. Also, having him as the face World Champ and NOT Benoit would be an odd sight to see, as I want to see Benoit stay in the ME picture for as long as possible (though after HHH wins back the title...he could feud with Jericho and actually put him over, as then Benoit and HBK have a good place to do their one-on-one feud).
-
I also always write Riley as I wrote Ejiro in the SJL...as a follower of Todd. I haven't written a "BY TODD!" into my match in a while...but I just may soon enough. I'm pretty sure Ejiro loved the way I wrote him in the JL for the most part...and I seriously miss that commentary team.

Just moving my edits from my last post down here in case somebody wants to read them. EDIT: In response to what Choken just said(re: before my last post), Eugene has already garnered himself a cult following in the smark and mark fanbases. The fans can't help but cheer the guy and we can't help but enjoy the fact that he has been entertaining week in and week out (and having Regal around is also a plus). The cheers have also been steadily increasing, and this week (with the help of the Rock, of course) the crowd was loving every second of it. I can definitely see those cheers and that kind of emotion being carried over to next week, when I'm sure we'll see Cade vs. Eugene and have Eugene win again. The thing is, when Eugene finally gets a loss it had better be based around cheap heel tactics. Eugene can not lose clean right now or in the next few weeks or months. In kayfabe, Eugene might not be able to handle it. On the flip side of the coin, Eugene could lose and just get more determined - which would competely through off Bischoff's plan and make him have to accept the fact that Eugene wants to be a wrestler and nothing is going to stop him. Give him a year (give or take a few months), let a little bit of a "serious" side come out on him, and he could easily be IC Title material and the fans would get behind him 110%, because Eugene would treat that belt with respect, unlike the arm candy that Orton portrays it as now (Sorry, but he has barely shown any caring about that title other than to say "no I don't want to defend it" and "i'm the longest reigning champ" and also to hold it above his head every once in a while). Wow...that was a long edit. EDIT TWO: Wasn't Benoit on RAW the night after the Rumble? If so, he couldn't have wrestled A-Train.

I only want to add that a 1.0 in ratings is about 750,000 - 800,000 viewers or so (though that's broadcast and may be different for cable) ...so then a .1 increase would be about 75-80,000 more people tuning in. That isn't much in the general scheme of things...but it's still a lot of people. I only wish SD was getting this kind of ratings and reactions.

Kylie - a 30 minute pilot that only runs 2 minutes...as the show is cancelled after hearing Kotz obsessively drone on and on about his goddess for as long as the censors can handle it. I'm A Car Guy, I Swear - Kotz's second 30 minute show...this one runs five minutes...as he starts off talking about Vettes and Stangs...then suddenly shifts into his Kylie-love when a caller asks about rear-ends. Hot Or Not: Malibu Style - a travel show in which Zack Malibu travels the GLOBE in search of people he could be seen with and not have the collective of Zack + other person NOT equal hotness. If someone can drag the collective hotness down into the "not hot" range....they win 10,000 dollars. The first winner = Stephen Joseph. He then uses the money to buy a closing 84 Lumber store...then goes on a rant about how he "saved the boards" and finally RavishingRickRudo and Prime Guy ARE: THE NEW PERFECT STRANGERS

I hate Shawn Michael's hair...and how Vince McMahon walks with his toes pointing out. It makes him seem so middle class.
-
I hadn't much paid attention...I thought his name was just sewed on it backwards as an odd character quirk. ...like a call back to EVAD.
