That could just be the face announcer pandering to the face wrestler... as in Cole would be thinking "I know it would piss off Tazz if I said _______"

Disney goes ahead with Toy Story 3, sans Pixar
The Amazing Rando replied to a topic in Television & Film
I actually really enjoyed the work experience. My co-workers were great, my bosses were excellent...and spending my days off roaming around the parks looking for shit I hadn't seen or done was always fun. The saddest thing I found is that Disney charges $2.50 for a 20 oz. bottle of Coke (or like product) when, because of sponsorship of attractions and restaurants, Disney gets all their Coke products FREE from the company anyway. So every time you buy a Coke, it's ALL profit for Disney. I worked in a restaurant sponsored by Coca-Cola as well...a nice little place, albeit the costumes (not mine - i'm custodial) were voted Worst On Property. They are seriously ugly. I wish I had a picture. Other than that...I cherish the time I had there...and god bless The Electric Umbrella (the restaurant) My favorite question - "what the hell is an electric umbrella?" i have no idea either. -

HAIL! to the new Tag Champions, and all of that. I'm actually quite surprised I got the W here, and I'm glad you actually liked the ending, Landon...as I wanted to find some way to through the feud in without having us have two much physical contact (other than you beating me up a bit) Also I didn't really want Funyon to give Bloodshed a proper entrance or exit...so I didn't want him mentioning the name. So having you knock him down en route to beating me up seemed like a viable option. -

Holy crap. That is all. -
That wouldn't work over here... the guy would just yell "TRIPLE H" and the opponent would lay down. In light of some recent events...the name "Triple H" can be substituted with "Kevin Nash" for cross-referencing.

Destructity Inc. Warrior in a suit spouting out really good stock tips that involve "the power of the Warrior" to rise and grow dominant over the other stocks...except WWE stock, which just kicks out after Warrior's stock pins it for a three. -

George W Bush makes joke about lack of WMDs
The Amazing Rando replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
I don't usually come in here... but there is a big difference between a sports team and the leader of the country. The players would just be "meh" ...cause win or lose they are getting paid hundreds of thousands/millions of dollars. I don't agree or disagree with the 'jokes' the President made. For a laugh - the searching jokes were fine. As for his 'phone call' thing - that was just a blatant attack disguised as a joke. Last year, over 30 percent of the United States population thought that WMDs had been found. The President even SAID IT last May. I know, I know...mistakes can be made. But when you are looking for WMDs, you should really double-check to make sure it's the truth first. So he jumped the gun....like I said...mistakes happen. I have no real problem with it.. Since we haven't found them -- i'm sure that % has dropped...but it's still there. What are those people thinking? They are probably also a part of the voting public, which frightens me. But whatever...like I said, I don't come in here very often, but this seemed to stick out to me. -

Slaughter said that Goldust did such a TREMENDOUS job acting as HHH, that he actually "became" HHH (like how actors "become" the characters they play) and decided that since Owen beat "HHH" -- he would get to keep the title.

Disney goes ahead with Toy Story 3, sans Pixar
The Amazing Rando replied to a topic in Television & Film
you THINK they are right. I KNOW Disney is going to fuck this up horribly -- because they can't seem to do a damn thing right anymore. They need to stop stop STOP worrying so much about the bottom line and worry more about if they are doing something entertaining... because if you can entertain...the bottom line will be right there... Disney (as well as other big companies) has a thing called "SYNERGY" ...which is of course "milking licenses dry". They do it with EVERYTHING. Shit, I took their business comm. course...and that was the biggest things I learned was that if you can sell something, you should. As much as it's good business practice - it doesn't always work to the fullest advantage. There is no real need for a Toy Story 3 ... except that it sells. I have heard no fans asking when it was going to come out, because it seemed as though everything that fans were questions after the first movie were answered in the second. And the questions that the second movie had don't compel me to watch a third - and I *like* disney movies. Disney needs to start looking at their OWN animation department and how it is really really fucking amazing in some respects - but in others it is down right sad. I saw early posters for what became "Brother Bear" ...the posters were STUNNING. I mean it seemed like it was going to be a very dramatic piece. I saw an image of a forest of giant trees and a bear simply walking through...and I was bewildered. From what I saw of the movie - that one image couldn't transfer to 90 minutes of film. Then again - I like nature and wildlife images such as what that poster portrayed - so there is bias. Still - I saw things for Treasure Planet a few years ago, and the backgrounds and still shots (without characters) looked amazing, and some of the characters even looked pretty good -- but the movie left alot to be desired. Disney has damn near given up on making characters we care about (I can name Lilo & Stitch as two exceptions lately) and has instead just dropped onto us SYNERGY! Toys, Toys, Toys...dammit Toys! Pixar -- on the other hand ... is going out and making amazing films that really make you care. Shit - I cried at the end of Finding Nemo. They are more into putting out one quality product of a motion picture than a zillion mediocre products into the toy market. Disney needs to harken back to movies like Beauty & The Beast, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, (The Original ones mind you) and others -- ones that had characters that people felt for. People don't cry at the tearful scene in Bambi cause it's a DEER...they cry because it's a MOTHER. Same goes for The Lion King and Mufasa's death, and for so many other classic disney animated films that were so much more than just animated movies. They were legitimate classics. Right now -- all Disney is putting out are animated movies. Ones you could find direct-to-video in any other universe, but here they get theater openings. They lost Pixar, and they are fucking screwed -- because Pixar cared about the film-making. Toy Story has it's fun, friendly, kid moments...but there is enough true character there to make you really give a shit what happens to them. Finding Nemo deserves all the praise it got - because it gave us those characters perfectly. Disney needs to wake up, stop searching for green -- and start searching for the people who hold the green. Remember - People First. (i'm saying this...and i worked for these people) -

^ meh...it's been done... Cutthroat sold it like a champ though. -
Something hasn't been right with the picture for a long time. Vince seems to enjoy messing with the vertical hold, or if a lady is involved - the horizontal. Would it be so bad if they would push BOTH of them. Apparently.

I'm still kinda pissed I didn't get to go to No Mercy last year and pimp my "Frost Is Party" sign... but I saved it for when I actually get to go to a live show.
