Both levels have their own pros & cons, but I enjoy watching both. It is tough to get behind a certain team unless you are an alumni of the school, though. And there are many more blowouts/poor games in college than the pros (but the national games on CBS/ABC/NBC are usually pretty good).

I'll be playing him next week because of the Ravens' bye, but should I consider starting DeShaun Foster over Jamal Lewis for the next few weeks? Baltimore's offense is just pitiful right now and though Foster isn't the starter, he gets touches.

Watching season 6 again, I still can't decide who the bigger douche is, Jonathan or Adam. Jonathan was a complete prick the entire race, but he and Victoria stayed towards the front of the pack while Adam was a whiny mama's boy, though he seemed to step up his game a little as they went on. And though she isn't a master of international relations, Kendra was the hottest female of the whole pack. The sisters rank a close second with Kris third. Hayden just had too much of a butterface.

And the fact that the heart of St. Louis' order did exactly jack and shit in that series (topped by Rolen's 0 for the series). Though I guess that would be more of a result of the Sox starters being totally overpowering. EDIT: 1-2-3 9th, all looking. Oy. Looks like Wake's going 10 tonight.

Don't tell me yet another good Wakefield start is going to be wasted. This offense has been just pitiful in September so far. It's Ortiz and eight outs right now.

Well, it wouldn't be an extravagant set, just some lights and stuff in front of the garage door back there and the ramp leading to the ring (elevated, of course). To steer the convo back to AL MVP for a moment (since I missed it a page ago), I believe it will come down to three things: A) Who has the better September. B) Which team makes the playoffs (If the Yankees do, it'll most likely be A-Rod. If not, it's Ortiz) C) How many of the voters have a bias against DH's winning the MVP, which I'm sure there are a few. I don't think Ortiz will have to worry about splitting votes with Damon and Ramirez as much, because they are rapidly falling out of the race.

Again, Vince is going to have to do stuff like this every week and keep RAW interesting to keep people from wavering off, and I just don't think he has the horses to do it this time. He really is starting to go down the road Bischoff did with Nitro; pretty soon you'll hear JR say "Don't tune into that other show, Liddell makes Couture tap out to a triangle choke."

No, Giants/Saints will start at 7:30 and move to ESPN at 9 for the Cowboys/Redskins game. I guess the Sunday Night crew will do the 7:30 game (oh joy of joys).
