And ANOTHER Kenzo-Cena match for the US title next week? Think this one will end up longer than the first one?

Mikey calls for student walkout on January 20th...

Eh, I just think it's really stupid to hate a guy so much that you won't have a problem with him getting capped, but that's just me. Things were settled, so the issue should be dropped. -
Hmmm......people telling people to book flights and hotel rooms to the SuperBowl before they get there.....sounds familiar. Every team has fans like that. Doesn't mean everyone is like that. A lot of people I know aren't calling this game either way yet (including yours truly). EDIT: Aren't they relatively even lately? I know the Pats won the previous two meetings before this year ('01 Title game and the '02 Opener), but Pittsburgh won that 9-6 game when Bledsoe fumbled and another game in Foxboro with a FG. They really haven't faced each other enough times to really call this a "rivalry" yet.

Actually, and yes, I know I'm going to catch hell for this, but Brady is the Chris Benoit of the NFL. Isn't flashy, but does what he does and he does it well. There weren't enough "does" in that paragraph, so here's three more. Does Does Does

Back to where I started, I guess. I'd ask for a trade, but I think PK's best days are behind him.

At least Jonathan went out in less of a douche-like manner than I thought, since he didn't berate Victoria for like 15 minutes at the Pit Stop. Adam however.......that whimpering was the highest of high comedy. But that's probably because his toenails are about 7 inches long right now since his mom's not around to cut them. US Embassador to Africa Kendra was really in poor taste, but at least she didn't ask the kids where their sweatshop was. Hayden's gotta wear that tank top EACH AND EVERY GODDAMN WEEK for the rest of the show, or I'll be angry.

I remember. I think it was the episode when Tim dropped Jill's ring down the drain. On Tool Time, he had two guys talk about their girlfriends and Dave was one of them.

Simmons doesn't write EVERY SINGLE one of his articles on Boston teams. Like he says, he's probably one of the nine fans that the NBA has left, and writes some good stuff on it. He's even a Clippers season ticket holder (must have found them in a box of Cheerios). Besides, he has a right to vent after everyone and their mother was picking the Colts last week, at least I think he does.

I see (well...hear) that Pittsburgh is producing songs to celebrate the Steelers that make "Tessie" sound like Beethoven's 5th. Kudos.

Want me to delete that first post for you, Evo?

Man, I just realized that the football season has only less than 3 weeks left. What am I going to watch until Spring Training (anyone that says "the Celtics" is getting hurt)? Anyway, I don't know which to pick. Pats-Falcons would probably be the most interesting matchup with the whole "Belichick vs. Vick" thing, but I believe if they can reel in Vick and Dunn, that the game would turn out for the Falcons much like the LAST time they were in the SB.
-
Ok, so that's only four games out of the 13, but I see what you're saying here. I can't remember if it was 13-0 after LOSING to a QB or what.
-
I'm not making a pick yet, but I thought I'd point out this stat: When facing a QB the second time in the same season, Belichick and the Pats are 13-0. Thirteen wins, zero losses. If the Pats can contain Bettis/Staley, and get some points on the board early, forcing Ben to throw to get them back in the game, then it will be a LONG day at Heinz for the home team if history shows me anything.

The Monday Night RAW Thread (January 17th 2005)
KingPK replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
No love for Trish taking a full on chokeslam, even with her supposed neck troubles? This USA-hole says bravo to that. And wouldn't it have been smart for Hassan to....you know...NOT piss off the Canadian crowd as well, and try for a Bret Hart dynamic (hated in the US for his beliefs, loved in Canada for his beliefs)? -
Get a defense, get the #1 seed every year, and hope Belichick decides to smoke pot with Ricky Williams.

The guy was learning from his father how to break down film at the age of TWELVE. "Ever since I could remember, I always wanted to be an NFL head coach."

I watched this tonight, and found it very enjoyable. Much like the Japanese version, and having the sideline reporter and the chefs talk is a good compliment to Alton in the booth. I'll bet that one point came from Julie Chen because she liked how Flay plated that "do-it-yourself" salad (his last dish, I think). This should become regular Sunday night viewing for me.
-
I was 3-1, but that one was the Rams, so that should probably count as 3 losses.
-
Last year I think it was 12:30 and 4:30 start times, which was fine. The AFC game won't start until 6:30, which is kinda late for a Sunday.
-
The fans will probably whine about the physical play again. Already are on the Colts ESPN board.
-
Ok, I'm just going to gloat a *little*. From my recap: DING!. Dillon made the Colts his bitch, plain and simple. DING!. Though it was probably much more a result of the Pats' marvelous D, but the Colts were dropping passes left and right. The snow WAS a factor. DING DING DING DING DING!!!!!!!!. Bruschi = hoss, Freeney played pretty well, I admit, but the Colts' D was the biggest weakness and the Pats took full advantage. Ok, I'm done. Off to Heinz!!!!
-
I could gloat, but I'll just let all the "experts" eat their crow. Sets up a good weekend of football next week.
-
If Gillette has any smarts, they'd start a "Who's Your Daddy" chant right about now.
-
Nope, the Yankees hold that crown still
-
Dillon only had 8 rushes in the 1st half. That's gotta change, Charlie. Especially if the snow keeps up.
