THIS WEEKEND ON TNA IMPACT – THE FINAL EVENT BEFORE SUNDAY’S “AGAINST ALL ODDS” Catch Impact Fridays 4PM, Fridays 2AM and Saturdays midnight on FSN! This weekend on Impact, we’ll be counting down the hours and minutes until this Sunday’s three-hour epic event “Against All Odds” live and exclusively on Pay-per-View! According to rumors we’ve heard throughout the week, it appears that TNA Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes is preparing some sort of announcement for Impact regarding the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett and his Against All Odds opponent Kevin Nash. What will Dusty have to say about Jarrett and Nash as we head into Sunday? Tune into Impact to find out! Diamond Dallas Page will be in action on Impact as he faces Chris Candido! Page is gearing up to team with The Alpha Male Monty Brown this Sunday on Pay-Per-View against Scott Hall and Team Canada’s Bobby Roode. In the Impact main event, you’ll see Pay-Per-View opponents collide in a huge six-man match as NWA World Tag Team Champions America’s Most Wanted team with Dustin Rhodes to take on Kid Kash, Lance Hoyt and Raven! With AMW taking on Kash and Hoyt and Rhodes fighting Raven this Sunday night, will both sides attempt to eliminate their competition before the big Pay-Per-View? Also this Friday on Impact, NASCAR and TNA analyst Jeff Hammond makes his in-ring wrestling debut as he takes on David Young! Hammond will join BG James of 3Live Kru this Sunday on Pay-Per-View to battle Michael Shane and Kazarian! Can Hammond prove himself and find a way to beat David Young on Impact before the PPV? The superstars of TNA’s high-flying X Division will also be in action on Impact, as it will be a Triple Threat Shootout between Primetime Elix Skipper, Chris Sabin and Shark Boy! With AJ Styles and The Fallen Angel set to collide this Sunday in the 30 Minute Ironman Match for the X gold, the winner of Skipper vs. Sabin vs. Shark Boy will be surely looking for a shot at the title! Speaking of The Phenomenal AJ Styles and The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, both superstars will be on Impact as they count down the hours until their epic bout this Sunday! ALL THIS AND MUCH MORE THIS FRIDAY ON IMPACT – THE FINAL COUNTDOWN TO AGAINST ALL ODDS BEGINS!

Time for the now traditional pre-PPV poll to gauge interest. To really find out all the information I am curious to track (interest in ordering the show, effect of response to past PPVs on current orders and reasons for ordering/not ordering) I would have to contruct several polls which would just be obnoxious, so I've tried to fit it all in here. Basically, if you're gonna order the show, select if it because you think this is a strong lineup that interests you independent of other factors, if the lineup itself might not be so intriguing but positive response to past PPVs has convinced you to give it a shot, or if you are just a TNA fan that always supports their PPVs or a new fan curious to check out the product independent of the lineup or past lineups presented. If you're not going to order, I've included some of the most popular reasons given in the past, including negative response to the Nash/Jarrett main event, if the card as a whole doesn't look worth it to you, if you didn't enjoy their past PPVs and are not so willing to give them another shot, and even if you just hate TNA because of some blind love of ROH or WWE. I'm not being funny, it seriously seems like some people just hate the company no matter what, so feel free to be honest and select that one. I've finally got options for those of you who might want to order but will not, for either financial reasons (don't have the money to spend/saving it for WWE PPv, whatever) or if you don't have PPV access to the show. And if you're still undecided, you can choose that as well and maybe have your opinion swayed one way or another. Everyone should feel free to elaborate on what motivates their decision. Ok, now vote!

Well clinical researchers differ on the exact classification, but it is known that Shawn Michaels made several miraculous recoveries (after several unfortunate relapses) and valiantly fought off such crippling symptoms as smile loss and ball returning to return to a normal (slightly balding) life. Others such as Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin have not had such succesful recoveries. Hopefully, since Storm's case is more mild (the jobs being thrust upon him known as aestus estus or "Heat" level) there is a greater chance for recovery from easily recoverable traits such as "loss of passion for the business" at this level. -

I don't know if they make a cure for "Job-a-titis" but hey good luck to him... -
Larry Hughes could have gotten the recognition. It's not like he would have blocked someone else from playing...
-
Goodness, I might have to relocate and work in Washington.

Probably means he'll have an on air role in OVW which is where he has been a head trainer for a while now. Notice it doesn't say wrestling...Then again, knowing Storm's dry humor, it could just be a bait and switch and his "Return to TV" is an appearence in a Calgary auto commerical. Who knows. Don't look for him to return to wrestling any time soon though... -
He just seemed a little tipsy. Like the exxagerated mannerisms while he was watching the fight and the way he jumped into the cage all pissed at his mention.
-
Wow, that was quick. And Holy Shit Lee Murray is BACK! I had no idea he was going to be fighting, I just was thinking about how I enjoyed his attitude and would like to see him again on an undercard, and boom, there he is, against Patrick Cote who I so valiantly routed on live at UFC 50 to no avail. And Georges is back! I cheered him on too...man, just one second... And hey Babalu is back, I want to see him fight. Anyone know anything about Jason Miller? This sounds like a fun card.
-
Man, you're just asking for it on that one, aren't you?
-
And since we're already busting out the discussion on this one like 2 months early, what's the speculation on the rest of the card? Hughes vs. Trigg for the Welterweight belt gonna be the other "big" match? Anything rumored for the undercard? (Random thought: What ever happened to Lee Murray?)
-
No disrespect to your point, but I think Chuck was a little drunky wunky at the time (letting his true hate for Tito come out), and in reality he KTFO Tito in their last fight effectively ending the issue and becoming a superstar, he has nothing left to prove in that area. It's the belt and avengence for his lost to Couture that should be on his mind.
-
A DISGRACE? Geez, we're not inducting Jose Canseco here. If it makes you feel better Dale Murphy can come too.
-
Bingo. I like how sek is trying to be SUPER LIBERAL~! but has no idea what he's talking about in relation to the real world. "Anyone who works in non-commision retail knows..." well, guess what I DO, and and many others do as well and I can tell you management has always been very friendly and quick to solve problems, while the Union is invisible and impossible to get a hold of and generally resented. They're out for political power (hence my example of using dues to pay for political propoganda). I'm not saying every business manager is a Saint, but most are decent enough to their employees. I don't EXPECT to get paid more then the relatively low wages I earn for the work I do on the basis I do it, but I DO have a problem with getting exorbant amounts of cash taken out of that without being told or asked and having it go to shit that doesn't benefit me.
-
I agree he is not a sure HOF, but based on his accomplishments I'd say he's at least borderline and wouldn't mind him being voted in. After watching 61* I developed a real respect for the guy after watching the shit he had to deal with. Kind of a sad figure, so it wouldn't kill me to give his family a happy moment if he is inducted at some point...

I think it's common sense that democracies with no longing for territorial expansion or blackmail and can be trusted to have their weapons only for safety and detterence of attacks should be ok. Ask yourself something, do you really trust Iran or North Korea with nuclear weapons? Do you honestly equate the US as being just as dangerous possesing such weapons? Can you admit a logical difference in intentions between the countries? EDIT: Well, yeah Cerebus answered you legally, I'm just going for a common sense approach...

From FairAndBalancedLOL.com And although most of you hate the guy, Oreilly did make a good point too: Seriously, Churchill needs to be fired for incompetence. The scariest part was the 1,000 students who came out to support him and cheer on his comments. That's downright scary. He has his right to free speech but that doesn't mean in his capacity as an educator of college students should he be allowed to perpetuate lies and hate speech (calling the victims of 9/11 Nazis for being stock brokers is pretty hateful speech to the families of the dead), combined with the allegations of fraud over his supposed ethnicity(which may have contributed to his tenure) and should clearly be enough to fire him for incompetence.

gasp The Mystique is GONE! Anyway as mentioned the Union Dues are what kills me, and the fact that they raise them randomly without telling you why. (Is it really right that someone that gets paid barely 8 bucks an hour before taxes should have 17 (that's SEVENTEEN) dollars a week taken out for mysterious "dues"? It's ridiculous.) I find it most interesting that the adults that work there full time, as their main income (the people you'd think would support the union) have the same negative attitudes feeling they're just out to rip everyone off, and there's like ZERO communication (it's impossible to actually talk to a rep. unless it's a major deal). Whoever mentioned it, you're right that unions at one time served a very noble purpose to prevent workers from being treated like slaves basically. But now a days, they are not as neccesarry (example: do major league baseball players REALLY need a union!?) and it's unfair to be forced to join one (especially as I explained, this is only a part time job between semesters, just to make some cash, if I get fired, who gives a shit, I can find a comparable job in numerous other places). Oh, I forgot, one of my favorite deals is the monthly publication we get sent in the mail which is basically a Democrat propoganda rag. I'm not exagerating, like every article is about how the Republicans are bad and looking to starve our children and cut our wages while the Democrats are great and for helping everyone. During the election, you can just imagine the smear articles on Bush and glowing articles on Kerry. This wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't MY MONEY that I was never asked to be taken, but was taken being used to partially FUND political literature for candidates I don't support. For the liberal posters, just imagine a scenario where your jobs took money out of your paycheck every week to send out publications praising President Bush and his policies and crapping on candidates you do support. I don't think that's right, either...
-
Couture, decision, again. I don't see what's so different this time, besides Chuck's cardio possibly improving. But yeah this is def. a couple months early to really be discussing...
-
Eh, I work at a grocery store between semesters, and have no love for the union which I was forced to join upon employment and take far too much out of my weekly paycheck (which isn't much to begin with) and seem to indiscriminately raise the dues whenever they feel like it without telling me. Even the employees who work there full time as their "real" job have no love for the union either..,
-
When was this? There were a lot of stuff that had nothing to do with fighting that I liked, for instance, when Couture cheered on Evan or when Chuck called Tito a fucking pussy. He says it off mic, but the camera picks it up, its during their back and forth exchange. My favorite part was when he seemingly went nuts and just left the Octagon and started running up the bleachers and no one had any idea what the hell was going on.
-
Curiously, where did you trade it in, and how much did you get for it towards the new model?
-
So because gays can't get unionised or married in Virginia you can't eat at the restaurants anymore?
-
Yeah, but now a days it's like 6,000 fans, half papered and the upper deck blacked out chanting his name!
