Cucaracha = Cockroach.

So, CronoT creates a forum, with a folder dedicated to flaming Czech, then invites Czech to it?

Yeah. Seeing as how Johnny hasn't really had much of any type of interaction with Cortez lately, plus the fact that Cortez wasn't even in the match, it made little to absolutely no sense. Top that off with Landon heroically chasing the chicken shit Johnny out of the ring and we're so far out in space now it's unbelievable. I can see here that people are basically missing the point with Johnny. He's not a heel, and I don't know if he ever will be as I'm not about to ruin that by telling if I were going to make him heel, anyway. The best way I can describe his attitude is that of like Stone Cold. You just never know when he'll go off, but right now the fans actually like this more INTENSE~ version... for now as he hasn't really gone too far with it yet. If you guys want to do something with him please shoot me a line and let me know first before you do it. Not only did my match contain nothing even remotely close to that heel turnish type of senario, but you didn't even ask me, Landon. If I wanted this to be a match where I turned him then I would have let you know well in advance. I really don't care about other things, but right now just walk him on a fine, questionable line. Please. I'll comment on the rest of the show when I've actually read all of it. Most likely Tomorrow evening. For now, congrats to all the winners. Last time I checked, Wild and Dangerous hated Cortez because he was Van Siclen's tag partner and they took the belts off them. I dunno, I may have got mixed up with storyline and posts on here or whatever. But it's fair to say they don't like each other. To be honest, I really didn't have the time to run it by you Johnny. I sent a PM to you at some point on Sunday. After that, I finished up my match and thought that I could do with a more interesting ending. By that time, I had to send in the match and get off the computer pretty quick. So if it wasn't fitting in with your character, I apologise. It was meant to come off more as 'Maddix leaves his partner in trouble' and 'Johnny doesn't know whever to trust Cortez' more than 'Johnny is a sneaky, Memphis heel', so if it's come off the opposite, it's because I rushed it. But, maybe we're all missing the point on Johnny because it's very vague. I wouldn't blame anyone who was confused about the Cortez/Megan relationship, because it's vague on my part. Johnny's allignment is pretty vague too. You say here the fans like the new, intense Johnny...in your stats though (which is what I went by), it says the fans are beginning to like him less. Forgive me for being more than a little confused.

^ That was truly a genius moment. ... Anyway, if they had no plans to make this new guy a main eventer, then the storyline might work. The guy wouldn't get above IC Title level though. And it'd be a slow build storyline, something which the WWE has proven it's not patient enough to do as much as it should. EDIT: I could see it working in the indies, along the lines of Chris Hero's losing streak. Maybe a big(ish) name from Japan coming to ROH. HTQ- Would Eugene count as someone who got success because fans felt sorry for him? Or do the 'he doesn't know his own strength' skits mean he was just an underdog?

Vader vs. Mankind would have been so much better than tha tag match they put in it's place. Vader vs. Mankind and then maybe Owen/Bulldog vs. The Headbangers, seeing as they got a title shot the next night anyway..would have been much better.

Expect fallout from Living Anglelously, as Michael Cole talks to the two men responsible for Leon Rodez's defeat on Sunday night. But why?

PLACE: The Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas TIME: 40 mins after the end of the show SCENE: Martial Law's locker room With Battleground in the books, the clear-up operation has already begun in the arena. Backstage meanwhile, another clear-up job is underway...at least in the Martial law dressing room anyway. With the International Championship match having ended roughly an hour ago, the three members of Martial Law are assessing the aftermath of their night. Sitting on the leather couch, Todd Cortez sits with his eye held open into the light by Megan Skye, wielding a small ball of cotton wool which she dabs across Todd's eyebrow gently. Meanwhile, their team-mate Landon Maddix sits in the matching armchair with his feet flung over the arm, his newly won International Championship belt over his still sweaty torso. "There..." whispers Megan, as she backs away from Todd. "That's about all I can really do. I still think you'd be best off going to see the trainer. It looks pretty nasty." "There's really no need." Todd insists. Maddix glances over at Cortez, seeing his eye already swelling up and grimacing just slightly. "What about your knee, Landon?" "Fine." "You sure?" "Megs, as arousing a prospect as it is, we don't need you playing nurse for us." smiles Landon. "I'll get it checked out in the morning if it's still giving me trouble. Tonight though, I'd rather be worrying about getting more ice for the champagne than ice for my knee. After all...tonight, it's finally an opportunity for us to celebrate! Lord knows it's been a while coming. But tonight, we're going to celebrate...a job well done." Smiling, Maddix raises his newly acquired gold as if making a toast, Megan giving some applause. Cortez just looks on from the side. "A job well done?" Cortez finally interjects. "Yeah. A job well done. I've got some gold again, Wild and Dangerous are a belt down...I've already spoken to the championship committee about getting us another Tag Title shot in the near future. Seems like mission accomplished to me." "You're forgetting one thing...I lost." An awkward silence falls across the room, as Cortez's blunt reminder cuts short the celebrations. "AND...I got superkicked by Dangerous." Another awkward silence. ... "...still, it's been a good night for me, eh?" Cortez glares at Maddix for a moment, trying to hold back his obvious anger...before standing up and walking out of the room. Leaving Megan and Maddix looking on uncomfortably. "Something I said?" "He's just upset that Ejiro beat him." Megan sighs. "He'll be fine...but, maybe it's best you go easy with the celebrations tonight Landon. You know, try not to rub it in." "Who, me?" The wry smile from Maddix gets a dissapproving look from Megan, who clearly seems to be more level headed than her victorious stablemate does. Sighing, Maddix nods in agreement with Megan finally, before easing off the armchair...clearly in discomfort as he limps across the locker room, opening up one of his bags and pulling out a smaller cooler bag from inside. Before opening that bag up, pulling out three champagne glasses and a large magnum. "Still...seems a shame to waste this, doesn't it?" Megan looks down, trying to hide the smile on her face...and doing a miserable job. Meanwhile, Maddix opens up the champagne which gushes out of the bottle, Megan cheering a little as the smiling new International Champion pours out a couple of glasses. He passes one to Megan, before looking at the other empty glass...shrugging...and pouring himself out a second glass. "To success!" "Success!" The two clunk glasses together before Maddix chugs down the two glasses in his hands, Bionic Redneck style, while Megan sips her glass in a much more ladylike manner. "Man, that's good stuff." smiles Maddix. "More?" "How much more have you got?" Smiling again, Maddix reaches back into the cooler bag...and pulls out another bottle of champagne. "Depends. How much do you want?" Megan and Maddix laugh, as Maddix quickly pours out another glass for his manageress.

British Culture Secretary. You guys need more soccer. And cricket. Lots of cricket. It'll have to be a part-time job though, what with my janitorial duties.
-
NYU- I did tag my vid package. But in the past, I've double-tagged and ended up with tags left in on the posted match (Dirty Deeds I think has that problem) so I usually just single-tag for OAOAST stuff. In the future, I'll make sure to double-tag, especially for you.

Wrestling Moves you busted out In Real Fights
King Cucaracha replied to I like Forums's topic in General Wrestling
Not sure if an STO counts as a professional or amateur move...but I once hit someone with something resembling a running STO. While technically not a 'real' fight, the Anklelock worked pretty well on one of my friends too. -
Wrestlers You Thought Would Never Turn Face/Heel

Rude was a face in ECW. -
^ Mark-out! I also marked out for the return of Janus. Or should that be Gay-nus? My match turned out pretty okay, Wildchild's Ladder Match was typically awesome, HUGE kudos to IL who proves than when he wants to write well he can write VERY well...Toxx wins again. I guess I don't need to say much about that, except that he wrote his usual stellar match. And...yeah, kudos to everyone that won and stuff.

^ thanks.

Show Me a Match You're Inordinately Proud Of.
King Cucaracha replied to Ace309's topic in Community/General
Best match I've ever wrote. Not that I've wrote many matches that stand the test of time. This is the closest to doing it IMO. FAR too long (pushing 17k), but certainly my peak point in terms of SWF writing, no doubt. Landon Maddix vs. Johnny Dangerous- Ground Zero '04, ICTV Title EDIT: This only beats the Clusterfuck because hadly anyone else wrote for that. I am proud of my CFuck match too though. -
Kayfabe Explainations For Unexplained Things
King Cucaracha replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
1. If you're going into a new company, it'd make sense to stick with people you know. 'Better the devil you know' and stuff. Tazz knew how Raven felt, Raven knew how Tazz felt. That and maybe they were elitist, thinking that by default a former ECW guy would be a better partner than anyone from the WWF. 2. Austin, while an anti-establishment rebel, was always presented as being someone who 'did the right thing'. Even if the way he did it wasn't 'right'. I guess Austin could be trusted to do the right thing and thwart The Undertaker, even if it meant being friendly with his former enemy. -
He's English, not Welsh. Duh!

That's exactly what I did and I didn't even make it to the Final 16. Which, judging from what I've read, is no great loss at all.

ECCW's Pacific Cup Day 1 Results
King Cucaracha replied to CanadianChick's topic in General Wrestling
I'm surprised Beckett didn't become a big indy player in the past year. He looked great in the Super 8 and then he just sorta faded out of the limelight, at least in national profile. -
Isn't Shannon's the rotating neckbreaker. The one Jericho used to use.

Two words: Little. Johnny.

Is this the reason why I'm suddenly getting e-mails every time I get a PM, to tell me I've got a PM. If so...is there anyway to turn it off?
-
7.6k apparantly, although I'm not sure if this online word count is accurate or not. Still, it was a bit of a rush, what with getting roped into helping someone move house. Considering Ground Zero was about 17k (probably), I'm obviously not the nerd I once was.

I got the message too, must be a board thing...hopefully my match got through too.

Bah, I can't get past 69 m.

Considering the small gap between AM and LA, that's a might spiffy card.
