  1. Hey, Z, you always sucked this bad or what? EDIT: *notices who's marking his match* Uhm...crap.
  2. MAIN EVENT Toxxic vs "Grand Slam" Mark Stevens Grand Slam. Winning? Phff, yeah right! ICTV TITLE BOUT NO-DQ MATCH The Masked Man vs Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix© Confidence isn't my strong point. FINISHER MATCH "The Notorious" John Duran vs Nathan Xavier Duran, as I'm expecting him to write. CRUSIERWEIGHT RULES MATCH Ryan Dustin vs The Birdman Eh. TRIPLE THREAT USJL TITLE BOUT Ace Lezaire vs Bryan Levy vs David Cross© If he writes. SINGLES MATCH Andrea Montgomery vs Austin Sly Close, but I'll pull for Drea. SINGLES MATCH Mike Van Siclen vs Sean Davis SINGLES MATCH Spike Jenkins vs Todd Cortez Unless there's some storyline reasoning behind the match results then I'll go with a double win for the doubles champs.
  3. Britain will be Siberian in 20 years, huh? They must not have noticed last winter then.
  4. Well, here's hoping Newcastle go down this season for the way Bobby got treated.
  5. The old school Summerslam tune owns the 'nu metal' trash they generally use now. It'd be good to use something like that again, if not very fitting.
  6. In no real order... Samoa Joe AJ Styles Daniels/Curry Man Doug Williams B-Boy

  8. Big news down in Philly. Pro Pain Pro Wrestling, owned of course by Brian 'The Blue Meanie' Heffron and with more than a 'contribution' from Jasmin St.Claire, have apparantely hired a new backstage 'helper'. Or, head booker if you will. Not much word on the hiring as of yet, but it's rumoured that he was hired to allow Heffron more time to concentrate on day to day running of the company and of course his in-ring career. A statement, released on 3PWrestling.com, announced the new head booker will be "strictly an off-screen personality". It also promised that the new head booker, who will apparantly remain nameless, will work "in conjuction"with Heffron, to turn 3PW into "a big part of the American proffessional wrestling scene". Exactly what that entails isn't clear, but expect some big changes in 3PW in the coming months. -- Credit: The Torch
  9. Mind Games wins for me, simply because it showed (or at least the majority showed) that Foley could put on a match without chairs, trash cans and other gimmicks. He and Shawn were able to put on a good wrestling match before the chairs, table spot and Vader run-in at the end. I'd say it's Foley best straight singles match ever. Of course, the others that have been mentioned are memorable because that's what Foley did best...the gimmick match brawls that could draw you in. But I still prefer Mind Games.
  10. Starts 'HAIL GOR0' chant.
  11. Not to self: Never ask for non title matches in SWF booking threads again. Ah well, about time I jobber the belt anywa... *sees he's facing Supes* ...screw that. Prepare for the greatest rush-job in history.
  12. 105) Having Lance Storm play heel at New Blood Rising, in Canada and at the height of his popularity. 106) Not letting D-X into the building during the infamous tank incident. That featurette on Confidential was right, if they'd let D-X into the building then WCW either would have gotten mega ratings from it and/or Raw would have been disrupted to cover D-X invading WCW.
  13. You can have some of mine if you want. There's plenty to go around. Uh, yeah, my advice is to find a couch and stay there.
  14. Well, I guess he saw what happeed to Mordecai and figures that the slightest mistakes are going to screw up his chances of being on the full roster long term. Especially after Taker put a stop to their program. But still, punching yourself in the head and running around screaming seems a little odd.
  15. So...where does Brock fit into all this?
  16. Well, I too have only really skimmed the show. But, yeah, possibly the best show I've read since I've been around. First and foremost, Papa's graphics are off the chain/hook/whatever buzz word it is this month. Simply awesome. Show wise, I agree with Zack that the OAOAST really is on a high. The Tag Division is looking rock solid right now and the humour is certainly there to keep the show skimmers (i.e me) interested. Storylines running through the fed, from COD's winning over The Saints...SJ and Cappa...everything Hoff has been doing, which is interesting to say the least...Blurricane's return...Panther and Bryte, which as usual was great. Rick Shirley is so off the wall that it's laugh out loud crazy. And then of course, the main event which managed to surpass last month. Congrats to Crystal of course, on being the new World's Champion...but also to Zack, because the entire storyline has been top class. Pun intended. Zack's character in particular. The way he's developed from a cocky heel to the unbalanced, parranoid Zack he is now has been great.
  17. Well, Leon Rodez is gonna be angry over what happened at AngleSlam. So, expect a prom... ...wait, what the fuck? EDIT: Uhm, yeah. Not sure what day the show is due, but if it's Friday then my match will be a guaranteed rush job. So, if possible, could I make sure my title's not on the line...whever that's a tag match, non title match, guest referee or whatever. Oh, and consider me a 'face' now.
  18. Well, nice to see it didn't take long for the class of the board to come out. Here's hoping it's nothing too serious but, from the way that article reads, who knows.
  19. It was lucky the old guy int he blue shirt jumped in to save him, because the police were nowhere to be seen. Well, they were actually. They were on their bikes a good way away, watching. So anyway, technically, would this count as an assault or what? There must be some sort of term and punishment for physically disrupting a sporting event.
  20. I bet if the Brit had passed him to get the bronze, then there'd be more controversy than there currently is. As it is, he got a medal thankfully. I also think he'd have been passed anyway, without the protestor...if not by both then by at least one. Indeed.
  21. How would Vince have reacted, at the time, between a fight between the two? Who'd have gotten Vince's support? Well, I'd have said Taker to be honest. Taker was still going to be around post-Mania where as Shawn was going for surgery or whatever. So, rather than lose both I'd have thought Vince would have wanted to keep Taker sweet. Not to mention Taker's 'loyalty' and possible existing bitterness over the Kliq incident as far as Shawn went.
  22. Corporate Rock all the way for me...always a favorite character of mine. Nation Rock comes close but Corporate Rock had great feuds to help his development, and it was during this time that he really became a standout star.
  23. Benoit/Malenko vs. Saturn/Raven
  24. 5 + *** = 5 + stars = 5 stars = 5 star match. ***** would be so much easier obviously.
  25. Depends how you look at it I guess. That is a good arguement...but the fact still remains, Benoit is spotty at best when it comes to effective interviews. I do think he's improved slightly, but he's still not on the level that top faces need. That automatically limits his time on screen. However, top faces aren't totally determined by air-time. If you look down that list, Benoit was in main event matches or at least the main event scene. Jericho wasn't...most of his time on screen came as an interviewer. Lita and Matt weren't...they were in a stupid baby storyline. Eddie is kinda an iffy one, because post-JBL he hasn't really done much at all. Taker meanwhile has appeared once every two shows, on average. Benoit may not have got as much coverage as these guys (and gal), but he was held in higher regard than the majority of those.
