  1. Isn't it HHH vs Kennedy tonight? Anyway:
  2. Wikipedia says one (or two!) more seasons. I had missed a few episodes but watched them last night on demand - wow, this season sure went into high gear after a so-so start. My only thing was it seemed to be a real leap of faith that Larry couldn't just think to say "n-word" when describing what someone else said... probably should have just said it to begin with. But, funny all the same.
  3. February 2008.
  4. Sounds like PAL to me. Anyway: I hear good things.
  5. The Joe/Brian interaction were definitely the best bits of the episode - Joe's reactions were great. I got a kick out of Stewie calling Stan "Joe" as well. Back to Cotton, something I thought of last night was the odd coincidence to kill off a war veteran on Veteran's / Remembrance Day. Of course, with KotH's sporadic airing schedule, that episode could have been originally targeted for an air date months and months ago (though Luanne being married and pregnant suggests it was at least menat for this season and not an un-aired left over like I suspect most of this season has been so far).
  6. Dangerous Davey Scherer says there is a "behind the scenes" issue being worked on that accounts for Divas vanishing from WWE.com
  7. That's what I thought. I think one of those unopposed Raw's in May did a record rating or something. Shame it took them 11 months after THAT to win a battle.
  8. It sucks? I'm not totally sure but Nitro may have been on a Tuesday or Wednesday due to the NBA play-offs... but I thought that didn't happen until May, so I don't know. I really think it's because the Africa Raw is really weak. Maybe they lost the tape because it's not a Raw in a traditional sense? Skipping the episode must have always been the plan too, because Cole's end of show tag clearly suggests the next episode will deal with the In Your House results. I couldn't remember if I dreamed up that Foley promo where he says "if you can't believe a guy like me could have maternal bliss, then shut off the TV or turn the channel to some other wrestling show" but there it was on Raw, existing and a bit odd. I have to agree with what others (King) have said - 10.5 years later, that HBK promo is more boring than shootish and interesting. Maybe because I JUST read the transcript in Bret's book a week ago too.
  9. The 10 Beer Commandments... the cornerstone of the Brewish faith. As a fan of meta humour, I enjoyed FG's ending... you knew it all had to get retconned by the end anyway, so that was as good a way to do it than any. And hey, like Stewie said, it wasn't a cliche dream ending! King of the Hill was odd... so Cotton's dead and Didi and GH don't bother to stop by? At least Luanne's marriage and pregnancy were actually mentioned for a change this season.
  10. Nothing wrong with that.
  11. I thought The Simpsons was pretty good, but I'm partial to Kirk Van Houten jokes.
  12. It was odd hearing JR hype "Sunday Night Heat" - my first though was "isn't this a year too ealry?", then I saw it referred to a block of programming featuring Pacific Blue and Silk Stalkings.
  13. I don't know about the general public at large, but I'm a big fan of chains that don't bother to update their signs to match updated logos and such. I was disappointed to see a local Pizza Hut just now change their sign to the current "Attitude era" stylization of the logo.
  14. Because, as James Earl Jones would say: THIS is TSM.
  15. Apparently Public Enemy will be taking it TO THE EXTREEEEME on the Philadelphia Nitro... which is being skipped. I was all for that skipping but now that I see that Nitro was from Philly, I'm kind of interested in what the fan reactions were like. Any avid Nitro viewers from this time period recall?
  16. He was teaming with Psychosis/Psicosis to fight the force of Konnan and Hugh Morris.
  17. "I'm receiving word that the nWo is arriving in the back... the area we call the 'backstage area'" - good call, Tony. I have to say, the fake Alex Wright music they dub on 24/7 is pretty good. It's no original Alex Wright theme, but it's still pretty jazzy.
  18. Yeah, it's a bit weird because according to the wikipedia entry on the 2007 Writer's Guild strike (where I get all my TV show status info from) Seth said tonight's episode is the last "under his watch", but Fox claims they have enough for the whole month. In what can only be good news for The Simpsons, they apparently have 22 episodes already in the can.
  19. The Kool-Aid man callback was pretty great, people have to at least admit that. Tomorrow's conclusion
  20. Here's what I didn't get, even when I was 10 I didn't understand the kayfabe reason that the booking was out right allowed to say "we have a good guy and bad guy team" at the end of Survivor Series 90. Of course I didn't wonder about things like "kayfabe", but more "aren't they admitting this is fake?"
  21. Would we get new 2 frame grainy titantrons and tinny entrance themes, or would they just cut those out for time?
  22. Way to take that right out of "Old School Questions Thread", champ. On a similar note, PWI gave an "F YOU" (I assume they've since fixed that typo) to people using Opera because they "had to change their code" because dirty, dirty thieves were posting their copyrighted news elsewhere! How will we get our misleading news pop-up free now!?
  23. Where is this 2003 rap located?
  24. Well I hope your issues are resolved. Did you let WWE.com know too? I also noticed that the updates went back to hyphens (that's what they used to be when I subscribed last year). A bit odd but shouldn't matter technically.
  25. Not sure if this is a "technical issue", but does anyone else have TNT listed as expiring in 2 weeks instead of the scheduled 1 week? I also see WWE.com just did away with the advanced schedule for 24/7 Online's mid-month line-up. Oh well.
