  1. So do all the wrestling fans in Kansas City, MO lack internet access?
  2. Bret has always seemed full of himself in interviews so this book excerpt is not surprising, but he's earned it and it was a good read. I look forward to reading the full book. For some reason when I read the part about Flair and Savage coming to his room, I pictured them entering the room in full garb, twirling around and doing their thing, Savage adding some "oooh yeah" in there while talking with Bret. I pictured Michaels in street clothes though.
  3. "Good gravy!" "Thanks. It's just brown and water".
  4. This was just kind of a joke, no real intention of doing a follow-up. I was thinking of doing a new (1 part) series questioning the whereabouts of EL DANDY~! though.
  5. I think it's about the same.
  6. I don't even recognize Bryan's voice when he's not doing radio via a telephone. I was barely paying attention during the main event (fading in and out from sleeping, as usual by 11pm since starting to get up at 6:30 in the morning) but it sounds like I missed quite the mess. I did see the ending though.
  7. That is also my take on the gravy situation.
  8. Yeah, they said "2 years" from the Season 1 mention of the goat. If memory serves, we're looking for an episode about Ted's 30th birthday.
  9. Though I doubt it was intended this way (it was just going with "The Rock" and "The Undertaker"), Santino calling Bret "The Bret Hart" fits nicely with Bret's odd way of putting "the" in front of things that don't need it ("The SummerSlam").
  10. http://www.wwe.com/inside/superstartosuper...2sflairandgotti Hey, it's Ric Flair!
  11. Didn't they JUST start advertising those within the month? With all the cheesey, cheesey flavour and such?
  12. The Smith vs Orton match I saw at a July house show last year was pretty good.
  13. That was London, but I thought it was because she was their manager / mixed-tag partner at the time.
  14. Wasn't it during the "Outsiders run Steiners off the road" angle and he just left the NWO in disgust? Unless that happened again, no. They recently showed this angle on 24/7 and Ted seemed cool with it.
  15. Well according to wikipedia I am confusing The Cheesecake Factory with something else. I've never been to one but I thought there was one in a mall when I was on vacation somewhere. Maybe not. "The Cheesecake Factory offers an upscale casual dining experience, complete with a full bar, whose lavish decor includes limestone floors, decorative columns, hand-painted fabrics, contemporary lighting, and cherry wood trimmings. Its extensive menu includes over 200 selections, including appetizers, pizza, pasta, seafood, steaks, salads, sandwiches, etc. Its featured dishes include Chicken Madeira, Miso Salmon, Cajun Jambalaya Pasta, and The Factory Burger." So perhaps Leonard and Sheldon were enjoying BBQ Factory Burgers.
  16. Excellent episode. I enjoyed the sandwich runner. Barney's speech to Marshall was also really good. "Broda".
  17. I thought The Cheesecake Factory was a fast food place at malls? Maybe Penny got a new job or I'm mistaken. I could be wrong but it looks like the "3rd floor" was given a new "Out of Order" sign on the elevator to set it apart from the caution tape on 4th and 2nd. Adds some realism, I like it. Anyhow, this show continues to be my favourite new series.
  18. I think they're just standing around in costumes. Lillian can handle it.
  19. Air Zonk: Rockabilly Paradise sounds like a good pick-up for the title alone. Wikipedia has it listed as "October" and since next Monday is the last Monday in October, I assume it's coming out then.
  20. I believe he said it in the Newsletter review of the show. WWE never right out said "these guys aren't brothers", but when Edge and Christian were both heels on Raw, they were constantly called "former tag team partners" without a single mention of being brothers.
  21. The sequel video has a guy quoting wikipedia as his reply. That is so me.
  22. I think Meltzer's point was WWE had already told their audience on kayfabed television (as in the weekly TV, not something mentioned on a "Before they were Superstars" DVD or Confidential piece) that Edge and Christian were just tag team partners and not brothers, so Jarrett calling them brothers felt "fake".
  23. Thanks for clearing up the subtle statements Mik (I assumed with the "...") and I were making bob-o.
  24. Jarrett referred to Christian's "brother up North" having a short title reign when Christian was challenging for the belt at a PPV in 2006 (Against All Odds?). Meltzer threw a fit about how dumb and business exposing that was.
