  1. The cable companies blame WWE and WWE seems to blame the cable company. Make sure you're contacting booth.
  2. "I am declining to speak first"
  3. "Roy's lucky it was pepper spray and not the nunchucks or throwing star". Nice call back to Dwight mixing up hero and Superhero.
  4. Dwight makes the save!
  5. MNW is awesome this week. The wrestling on Raw is sub-standard but the HBK/Bret promo is awesome. As I was watching it I was wondering if it was the one where Sid shows up followed by Taker (which I marked for huge on the original airing) and sure enough it was, so good nostalgia there. The weird part is they come back from commercial for Lawler's entrance, then go back to commercials. I guess the Bret/HBK spot ran long. Nitro has some good wrestling - Jericho/Benoit and Dean/Mysterio with some Ultimo/Liger thrown in. The Albano feature is pretty good. I wasn't aware that prior to him and Lauper being pals on camera, he heeled on her bad on Piper's Pit. That was good stuff. His Hall of Fame speech was pretty charismatic as well.
  6. robrabies and/or StrapFinlay probably made the request and the IP's got mixed up, but that Pit thing is a good cover story.
  7. People I haven't spoke to in years add me, then proceed to continue saying nothing. I love it.
  8. Hey, this isn't "Biggest Train Wreck of a Baseball Squadron". Back on topic.
  9. WP blog? Heh.
  10. I returned home from work to find everything updated correctly, so that was fast.
  11. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WWE_24/7 I would suggest anyone (which seems to be all of us) with difficulty receiving all the programs due to the category changes inform both WWE.com (Al posted a link above) and your local cable company. I've found in the past when I was having problems, this helped more often than not (and there was 'not' - they never did correct the missing Legends shows from last fall). Putting everything together from WWE.com and what people have said, this is what our menus SHOULD look like: "WWE Legends" (mine still says Hall of Fame and is empty): Captain Lou Albano profile piece and probably 3 matches and "The Stone Cold Truth" DVD feature. "TV Favorites": Mondy Night War (12/30/96), TNT, NWA show from August. "Big Ones": WCW Mayhem 99, Boston Gardens 88. "Shorties": 5 matches involving managers (Cornette, JJ Dillon, Paul Heyman, Mr. Fuji, and Sable). I watched the preview show last night, apparently some Coliseum Video Sunny special is supposed to be available this month. That will be kind of depressing to watch.
  12. I'm not near my digital cable TV and am about to get ready for work, but al posted all the shows I'm aware of (and I do have the WCW PPV and the Boston show so that's good). The buckets should be "Legends" (HOF + Specials), "TV Favorites" (PT + ECW/Territores), Big Ones, and Shorties.
  13. Maybe Booker went nuts from his wife turning on him and has been injured as a result, so in a few weeks he'll come back as good ol Booker T? Another set (also from PWI) to confirm the above:
  14. Last September, it took my cable company a month to rename the ECW category "ECW-Territories". It didn't matter since the programming was (mostly - missed a NWA show or two) being updated properly. Fast forward to now - they still have the 6 categories when there should only be 4 so the only thing that got updated was Big Ones (STILL no Armageddon? Weird) and Shorties. I suppose I should notify WWE.com and my cable company of the problem.
  15. WWE The Music Volume 7 is exclusive to iTunes. You also need to buy the entire album to get such hits as "Ron Simmons - D*mn", "Bobby Lashley - Unstoppable", and "Marcus Corvon - Smooth"
  16. Facebook is better. Privacy settings to the max to boot.
  17. Orlando Jordan shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as MVP. Orlando never had potential, MVP does. MVP is charismatic and can work a good match. Benoit never got a big pop niether, the crowd sucked all night pratically, Detroit isn't a really good wrestling crowd, never has been IMO. MVP had everyone salling "Ballin!" in the arena though! We were a great crowd. It's just hard to pick everything up with 80,000 people. Like, my section was really loud, and a section at the back of the stadium was really loud for Cena, but too many mixed opinions in a large building don't always translate. I also think they had some sound problems because, and I don't know how it came off on TV, but I'm used to rings having more of a mic'd sound in person that some of the slams lacked.
  18. Colt signing was this thread's 10,000th post - Milestone!
  19. Well since I guess the themed programming is a repeat, do you recall which Eddie/Rey match it is? I guess this means there is chance come August I'll be seeing the same "Destination 24/7" shorties and so on. However, the flip side of this is unless you're recording every program they air (and I'm not), I have no problems with some reruning - I watch the same WrestleMania's every year and things of that nature. As long as they throw in new WCCW, ECW, MNW, etc. episodes I'm good. I'd like a lot less modern WWE PPVs, though (not counting the 3-4 month delay PPVs, those are cool).
  20. "Am checking. I thought the same thing but don't know." Meltzer's reply to the Londrick/Hardyz situation.
  21. I'm pretty positive they have ear pieces. Also, don't they sometimes get cues from the announcers? When the announcer raises his pen in the air the ref knows to wrap it up. The old woman winks to inform everyone she's ok.
  22. Random plug for my Mania photos (it's not like I was close enough to get anything great): http://www.flickr.com/photos/sgray21/sets/72157600044589268/
  23. Prediction: Carlito/Flair vs HBK/Cena for the tag titles.
