  1. This thread is pretty depressing. I can almost hear the little violin in the background playing along.
  2. Sudo has had a lot of boring fights, I think people give him too much credit for being weird. Fedor, Liddell, Franklin, GSP, Doerksen, Big Nog, Shogun, Tanner, Matt Hughes, Hansen, BJ Penn and that's it that comes to mind right now.
  3. Jacare is probably in the "holy trinity" of BJJ right now, with Roger Gracie (and yes, even a standard name like Roger, is pronounced "Hoger") and arguably the best P4P grappler in the world, Marcelo Garcia.
  4. Even if you don't like grappling, appreciate the pimp motherfucking soundtrack.
  5. The ring doesn't help Liddell, if it gets too close to the side he gets put in the middle making things harder for him. He always uses the cage to stand back up.
  6. Tito clearly won that fight. Watch it with the volume turned down. Most of Forrest's punches were blocked, while Tito scored about the same while standing up. Tito pretty much destroyed him in that first round. I can't see Forrest winning that fight. The first and third rounds were clearly his.
  7. I can't be the only one pissed at the Commentary team literally cheering for Forrest. In the third round, after Tito got the takedown: Joe Rogan is quiet, then goes "Oh no."
  8. He's gonna get cheered because it's in California.
  9. None of Rampage's opponents were better than Randy, save for maybe Shogun, and he got his ass kicked there. The other arguable one also kicked his ass twice. I would place Tito up there as well, I think he is on par with Wandy, we'll find out where he is after tonight though. He barely beat Ninja, was thoroughly dominated by Arona until the powerbomb, and struggled with all the Japanese guys. Sakuraba KO'ed Yoon Dong Sik in less than thirty seconds, Rampage took him to a decision for fuck's sake. Chuck's beaten everyone he has in dominating fashion. Two of them elite fighters in Tito and Randy. Chuck would kill Rampage if they were to fight again. Randy is essentially a better version of Rampage, and we all saw how that went, twice.
  10. I hate Pitchfork, am not a twit, and I don't enjoy Tool either. Bleh.
  11. It's not like I won't be shocked if AA loses, I'll just be really, really pissed.
  12. Rumour has it that Arlovski's bum knee is worse than people think. I don't think I can handle seeing him lose to the fucking "maine-iac".
  13. Terrell didn't take Tanner down in that fight, at least not from what I remember.
  14. When I said fucking awesome, I meant he was a huge fucking dickhead.
  15. I like him a lot too, he's one of the better ground fighters out there. Capable off of his back or on top.
  16. I remember that, fucking awesome. I think Tito is genuinely that nice a guy. Everybody that has met has had the same nice things to say about him. He talked shit about fighters because that's what sold tickets at the time. A few fighters have said they learned how to properly deal with fans based off of what Tito did. Bisping does need to shut up a little, but I'm fervently behind Tito so I'm biased. The funniest was how Herman, after joining Ken's team dismissed Tito and didn't care about the fact that he was slighted. Now, he sees how much of a moron Ken is and has gone back to hating on Tito. Sidenote: How many fucking middleweights does Team Quest have?
  17. I was gonna say, after hearing about Sylvia the master grappler I don't think I could take it. However I am such an MMA junkie I think I could deal.
  18. I'm honestly 50-50 on the winner. Will the Country Boy survive? Will the Riddum keep movin' on? I don't know. I just wanna watch it though. Hopefully it's a main event.
  19. No offense, but I just thought that being a conservative you wouldn't want to hit the president or Hannity.
  20. I get the joke, don't worry. You're the one who doesn't.
  21. Don't have to tell me twice.
  22. I wouldn't say Franklin's subs are basic. He's got a nice triangle, and shows good offense from the mount. He could have handled Rivera a lot sooner than he did if he chose to take the fight to the ground. Anderson Silva was submitted by Ryo Chonan and Daiju Takase. He was also getting handled by Newton on the ground, a bona fide 170 guy, before he decided to stall after Newton took a chance and gave up position. Anderson Silva is a fairly one-dimensional fighter. As for who will be the best fighter, I don't know about success since he's in the most stacked division in MMA, but Josh Koscheck is P4P the best fighter on that show in my opinion. A Koscheck/Diego rematch would be pretty huge I think, considering they've both been doing quite well for themselves since the show ended. Koscheck seems to have improved more than anyone else, while also being a great athlete and young.
  23. While I admit that in the past I have been uppity about certain topics, I've mellowed out a bit recently. It makes sense really. I mean look at it this way; you have been posting here for two and a half years, while I have been here for three and a half. There isn't much difference between 23 and 25, so you may not have changed much, but there's a huuuuge difference between how you feel about things when you're 19 as opposed to when you were 16.
