Personally, I think it's time Shawn Michaels makes his long-awaited return. Shawn: So, Kane, you thought it would be funny if you tried to break my neck? Make sure that I might never be able to breathe again? Well, I got you back. Roll the footage! *Footage of Kane at his Bachelor Party is shown on the Titantron. One of the female strippers gives him a drink that Kane swigs down happily. He slowly falls asleep, and the scene fades out to....a Las Vegas Wedding Chapel! Kane is laid out in the passenger seat and Shawn Michaels is driving the car* Minister: With the power vested in me, I now pronounce you to be man and wife. Congratulations! Shawn: Thank you. Hey, Mr. Cameraman, why not get a look at the BRAND NEW Mr. and Mrs. Shawn Michaels? *The scene fades out as the car slowly moves down the street, with the words "JUST MARRIED" printed on the window. The crowd gasps as Kane starts throwing over the conveniently-placed flowers in the ring* Shawn: Well, Kane, I guess now the question isn't IF.....but just HOW MANY TIMES we..uh....consummated the MARRIAGE!! *Kane barges out of the ring and ANGRILY~! runs after Shawn Michaels. Meanwhile, Lita starts sobbing in the ring, upset that a marriage to her true love has been aborted*

Who knows. I was too mesmerized with his eyes.
-
It may have been because he had one of his hands in his pants. How could he not?! That's Randy Orton!!
-
OMG!! In that video package, Randy Orton was on a beach with two scantily dressed women!! Did you see his abs?! *moan*
-
Grrr! The Diva Search is a waste of time! Get those damn tits off my TV! Look, here's Randy Orton! *splooge*
-
I didn't look at it that way! You're right! *swoon*

There you go, Hoff. Thoughts on the Hoff/Stevens match have now been posted. But, now that I've looked closer into the OAOAST archives - it seems that bastard Cassius never gave his thoughts on the Drek/Cappa Hell-in-the-Cell match at License To Pin. Even though he had promised he would! Hopefully he'll look into that.... Wink wink, nudge nudge.

Ultra-quick feedback right now. I should be back with my usual, long-winded feedback opinions this Thursday. Hoff, I loved the 24/7 Title match between Chris Stevens and Hoff this week. The fact that Stevens was able to manhandle Hoff the way he did - something that not many people, if any at all, have ever been able to do - really did a great job in making the guy look like a superstar. The action in this thing was just awesome as well. Some sick arm submissions from Chris, impressive power moves from Hoff with his LEFT arm, DDT through the announcing table.....and, of course, the end with Chris almost overcoming a 3-on-1 handicap against The Thrillogy make this a possible Match-of-the-Year candidate. The emotion in this match, the absolute hatred that Chris Stevens had for Hoff, was felt from the beginning, and it successfully drove the entire thing. And, even though Hoff now has to deal with Gunner, I hope his rivalry with Stevens isn't forgotten. They just seem to have this natural distaste for each other and that - coupled with just how well their styles fit together, as seen from this match - is the kind of thing that can REALLY be remembered. Definite **** match. With all that being said, this was a really good episode of HeldDown - even though *cough* Drek Stone didn't make an appearance. Great debut from the Bryant Brothers. Yet another captivating segment in the Rick Edwards saga. Excellent Tag Title match with the Saints/GPX. Another fantastic interview segment between Zack/Crystal. Very well written segment with Candie/Alix - like Hoff, I surprisingly found myself feeling bad for a fictional character. Good developments with Cappa. Everything was just well done, and things are really starting to look good going into AngleSlam!
-
Well, I got a jump start on the Angle hate a few weeks ago with his political douchebaggery of RVD and Luther Reigns. Taker hate around here, of course, goes without saying.

Yeah, the fucking smarks sure seemed to have a love affair with that crowd, didn't they? Anyway, I think fighting in dead silence is far more disrespectful and rude than stupid chants, but bitch and whine all you wants, folks, it's the only reason this board even exists. You think fighting in silence is more disrespectful than: a) The fans doing the fucking WAVE during a match? b) The fans chanting "BORING" during a match? c) The fans loudly booing the face, chanting that he sucks, and cheering the heel, despite the fact that it completely ruins the intricate storyline that had been placed over it? Okay then. At least if the fans are silent during a match, you could use the excuse that they were so involved in the action that they chose not to cheer. As much bullshit as that excuse may be, it's still something that can be said. With the way Toronto acted last night, what excuse is there at all? The idiotic things the crowd did last night was far more insulting than staying quiet would have been. They weren't cheering anything because they liked the match or were involved in it. They were screaming things because they disliked the match or the storyine surrounding it. How is that not more disrespectful? Oh, he did get quite a fair number of cheers. Either way, his reaction was still incredibly more positive than Edge's was. Nope. They just stayed silent during the match. Same here too. Let's not, once again, get into the absurd reaction towards that match. Fine. In the matches that they DIDN'T cheer a heel, they sat on their hands instead. You certainly proved a point there.

Okay, it's really time to stop these asinine arguments. I'm a little tired of reading of the claims from some that Canada took a stand last night. That they stood up to Vince McMahon, said they were tired of this shit, and that they weren't going to take it anymore! Tired of the storylines! Tired of the wrestlers! Tired of the WWE style! Tired of WWE's treatment towards Canada! Tired of it all! Complete and utter bullshit. There was no reason or logic behind Toronto's reaction last night. It's no coincidence that they cheered the heel in nearly every match. It's no coincidence that they booed the face in nearly every match - faces that every other arena across the world had no problem cheering. It's no coincidence that they chose to use ridiculous chants like "Spanish Table!" They hoped this would give them the satisfaction of being a rebel crowd. They hoped to be what New York City was at WrestleMania XX - a crowd that was ultimately saluted for their spontaneous, "smart" reactions to the Goldberg/Brock fiasco. Instead, the people of Toronto wound up looking like a bunch of ungrateful, egotistical assholes. There really is no defending it, except for the argument of "We paid for our tickets. We can do what we want. Nyah, nyah, nyah." And the immaturity of that attitude only makes Toronto look worse. Please. Let's not try to come up with these inspirational, heroic reasons for Toronto's reactions. Simply because, we all know, this wasn't the basis for their attitude last night anyway.

Cassius, you mind telling Brutus to vote for me? My ego needs inflating.

No! Keep it in Canada! In Vancouver to be more specific.... Was Toronto this bad for WM 18, with the exception of the Hogan/Rock match? Toronto is the city that completely killed the HHH/Jericho Main Event. With the exception of crowd reaction for Hogan/Rock at WrestleMania X8 and Hogan/Warrior at WrestleMania VI, Toronto has ALWAYS been a shit crowd. Hopefully, Vince has seen a better look at this tonight. Wrong. I went to a RAW show in Toronto and the crowd was HOT for the entire show. Toronto doesn't like charity cases (see Eugene) and doesn't like Taker. So there ya go. Wrong. Toronto doesn't like Edge. Toronto doesn't like Matt Hardy. Toronto doesn't like Eddie Guerrero. Toronto didn't seem to like Chris Benoit too much tonight, Toronto doesn't like many of the faces that WWE fans all over the world have cheered for. Including, of course, Eugene and The Undertaker. Toronto also doesn't like to get involved in wrestling matches. GOOD wrestling matches, as a matter of fact. Toronto proved themselves to be a shitty crowd tonight. But then again, it isn't just an isolated incident, despite what an episode of Raw may have shown (By the way, clue me in on what Raw this was. I'm interested)

Someone called MoleLohan just called me a herb. This may be one of the most traumatic nights of my life. Now, the point is - the card tonight was NOT bad at all. As if that had anything to do with the situation anyway. The crowd had already made up their minds of what they were going to ruin. They booed Eugene from the start of the match. Despite the fact that every other city has loved Eugene in the past month - giving him the kind of crowd support that a sympathetic face SHOULD be getting - Toronto still chose to boo him and completely ruin the storyline WWE had going for it. Despite the fact that there was hard work going on in the Six-Man match, a deeply involved storyline going into the Kane/Matt match, and some pretty nice action in the Cena/Booker match, the crowd STILL chose to remain silent. In the face of a WWE Championship match that, again, had some decent action....they did the Wave! They chanted "Spanish Table!" They booed, despite the fact that they had no idea what the hell they were booing. They cheered, despite the fact that they had no idea what the hell they were cheering. They were the drizzling shits. I swear, I don't understand the point of going to a WWE PPV if you're going to be miserable and sit on your hands, or boo everything that typical WWE fans across the country have cheered.

Notice that Evolution didn't come out to celebrate. The seeds have been planted. ..... But who cares. LET'S DO THE WAVE!! AWESOME!!
-
And the crowd actually loves it! Canada managed to turn against Benoit! Just to completely cap off the shitty Toronto crowd. Still a good match though. Solid ***, if not more.
-
German Suplex.... "Nein" means "No" in German.... "No" as in "No, don't give me any more Germans!" These are the jokes, people!
-
It actually may have been. Funny that one of the only faces that actually got cheered was left off the Pay-Per-View card tonight.

Because if they didn't care so much, they should have just not got a ticket and stayed at home. Because they knew exactly what the Summerslam card was going to be months ago when they bought the ticket. Gotcha. Because they could have sold their ticket when learning about the card would have been. Or they could have gone to the show tonight, still wanting to have fun. Not being miserable (i.e. - remaining silent for the first four matches) or being disrespectful assholes (i.e. - doing the fucking wave during a WWE Championship match) There were alternatives. In this day and age of EBay, Internet ticket houses, and scalpers, you're not locked into going a show that you paid money for. But then again, looking at it closer.....I didn't realize just how fun this crowd has been! "You screwed Bret!' "Spanish Table!" Awesome!
-
I hope JBL's okay! It would really suck if he got a papercut or something after getting chokeslammed through that limo roof.
-
I fail to see how this is awesome. "We're going against the system! This is what being cutting edge is all aboot!" Um, okay? If you remember, Wrestlemania 6 had the wave too...so it's a thing Toronto does. Wow. Damn this crowd for trying to have fun while the WWE gives them shit for matches. WWE has actually put some planning and thought into many of their storylines going into SummerSlam, and the crowd has shit all over for it for absolutely NO reason. Eugene gets booed tonight? What for? Triple H was pulling out every heel tactic in the book, but the crowd wanted to show just how cool they really were. They managed to ruin Eugene's sympathetic face run in one fell swoop. Awesome! They stayed silent for what was supposed to be a huge part of the Kane/Matt/Lita storyline. They stayed silent for the Six-Man Tag match tonight. They stayed silent for the Cena/Booker match. But they were having fun! They showed complete disrespect for a WWE Championship match that was, in essence, not even all that bad. Doing the wave? Chanting "Spanish Table"? Why bother going to a wrestling show if you're going to do that? But I'm sorry. I forgot. It's great! WWE didn't give them shit for matches. But Toronto IS giving them shit as far as a wrestling crowd goes.
-
I fail to see how this is awesome. "We're going against the system! This is what being cutting edge is all aboot!" This isn't about the crowd cheering for who they want to. This is about Toronto trying to look cool, but looking ridiculous as a result.

"Why doesn't WWE come to Canada more? We're a good audience, ay." Seriously now. This is a WWE Championship match. And not a terrible one at that. And these people are doing the fucking wave. Why did they even bother showing up? I hope WWE thinks twice before coming back to Toronto. What a terrible audience. They're actually hurting the show.
