People today are so uptight, it's sickening. When I was in third grade, we had to make our own books. Write our own stories, draw our own pictures....it was entirely our own. I wrote a book about a boy that had a time machine and went back in time. And where was one of the places he went to? Why, he went to Bethlehem to watch the birth of Baby Jesus in the manger. *gasp* See, the thing is......at that time, the book was no big deal at all. My teacher didn't have a problem with it - she thought it was cute. The other kids didn't have a problem with it - they thought the picture was nice. And I'm assuming the parents of these kids didn't have a problem because I never once heard a negative comment about it. It was treated as if it was normal, because I was a young kid and had no idea about the separation between church and state. I can only imagine what the reaction would be if I was in third grade in 2004 and had just made this book. These kids don't know any better. They go by their beliefs, they go by what their parents have taught them, they go by what they believe is right - and they're punished for it. The idea that a second-grade child is refused any slack for repeating her religious belief is unacceptable and inexcusable. Unfortunately, it's a foregone conclusion that this trend will continue because many parents today are just too feeble-minded and weak-hearted.

So I wonder if Zach is still going to go through suing WWE for his termination, claiming that it was on the basis of him being handicapped..... This is pretty much what the WWE folder actually IS. Well. technically, I think this is what the General Wrestling folder should actually be. Except people prefer not to use it because they're less likely to get the volume of responses that they would get in the WWE folder. If the General Wrestling folder was promoted more, there would certainly be less nonsense threads in the WWE Folder.

I like how Nevermortal grouped me in the same class as Besus in the "A New Era Begins" thread. Apparently, we're both "luminaries", which is truly quite an honor. As for the rules, I have to agree with Fear Havoc. None of them bother me except for the designated daily news thread. It's best to keep the important news items in different threads so people can comment on them clearly. You put them all in one thread and everyone's comments are going to be all jumbled, making it an unpleasant mess to read. Personally,I feel the folder works right now with the news items being separate. The only thing that needs to be done is if there are multiple threads on a particular news item, delete the extra threads, making sure there is only one. This is where the extra mods would become useful. Again, I don't mind the new rules except for the designated news idea. I really hope that particular thought will be taken off the list.

Well, another problem I have with this is: How would Janet wearing a bra be shocking? Think about it. This is MTV. They have an IDEA what could shock. On a whole bunch of MTV shows and music videos, you have girls walking around in lingerie, bras, and panties. Why would Janet doing it be all that shocking after the public has pretty much gotten used to this kind of dress? That COULDN'T have been the shocking surprise MTV had planned. Justin Timberlake's appearance CERTAINLY couldn't have been the shocking surprise planned. Janet's tit flopping out and her nipple being coincidentally blocked for the most part - yeah, pretty shocking. I just don't see how MTV couldn't have been going for this angle. As we learned with the Britney/Madonna kiss, they want people to TALK. Janet wearing a bra....barely anyone would have batted an eye. Exposing a breast on stage....and we're still talking about it 2 days later, with the conversations undoubtedly still continuing for weeks. The pieces on this angle fit together. The pieces on the "well, the costume malfunctioned" angle doesn't.

During the Attitude days, I can't really remember them throwing guys out there to have a match that was INTENTIONALLY bad just to make everything else seem good. They could have put RVD out there in a meaningless match last night just to get him on the card and put someone else on Raw that the fans actually LIKED. The Rico/Dupree match looks like it was out there with the intention to suck. And sorry, despite what you said, Raw doesn't need that. At all.

Well, I'm a smark and I have absolutely zero interest in seeing Chris Benoit in the Main Event of WrestleMania. Depending on crowd reactions with faces, I would say marks would rather see: Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Goldberg, John Cena, Kurt Angle, or Eddie Guerrero Main-Eventing Mania than Benoit. They all get more crowd support coming out to the ring than he does, get more crowd reaction during the match than he does, and get a louder cheer if they win (barring the Benoit Rumble win and the OCCASIONAL [not constant, like some TSMers pretend] standing ovation) Guys, please, stop sticking your fingers in your ears and just take the reaction for what it's worth. The crowd support for him just ISN'T all that loud. He doesn't have Cade/Jindrak negative heat or anything, but he doesn't have Main-Event overness either. How could someone here say, with a straight face, that HHH isn't over enough to have the Heavyweight title but Benoit is? I'm not a HHH fan AT ALL, but he gets tons more crowd reaction than Benoit does. Everyone can say that the crowd stays silent for Benoit during his interviews because they're listening. But, as cliched as this sounds, we know that this case is never applied for ANY other wrestler along these forums. If they speak and get no reaction, it's because the crowd doesn't care. Benoit speaks and gets no reaction, the crowd is listening. Personally, I think the silence is because they have no URGE to respond. No reason to care about Benoit, which is why they sit on their hands. He doesn't have that intangible superstar ability to get fans on his side. And that's probably going to be his downfall when it comes to the Main-Event sprint he has right now. Not to sound callous or anything but the delusions that Benoit fans have been having about the lack of crowd reaction the past 2 weeks is pretty sad. Stop making excuses and accept it for what it is.

Spike/La Rez/Test/Rico were ALL on T.V. for a max of 10 minutes. Way to make an ass out of yourself. Good one. ...... ......wait, you can't POSSIBLY be talking to me. SPIKE?!?!), but decided to leave one of their most over wrestlers on Raw, one Rob Van Dam, off tonight's card....probably sticking him on Heat. Why? And what was the result of this idiotic booking? A relatively dead crowd. Nice.

Van Dam ENTIRELY left off the show.....why, of course. Who needs those damned useless, OVER wrestlers?! We had a Rico/Dupree match!! But I can't complain. I must take whatever WWE gives me to enjoy.
