At least you have your impending rise to the throne of Italy to cheer you up. That is true. Thank Drunk Hoff for that.
-
I feel dirty. I was partially trying to stick up for him.
-
But were you making those posts with a beer in your hand? Because then that would certainly make you cool. And would help you live up to your rebel-on-the-Internet-Wrestling-Message-Board image.
-
Then maybe he has no place anywhere at all. That really is quite the impressive superiority complex you've developed there.
-
OMG! How did you know? Yeah he spoke there. It was so cool. Because he told us about Dennis Eckersley tossing salad and stuff. Dennis Eckersley? I once had a baseball card of him! And isn't it amazing? Drek Stone does quite fine on both HeldDown and Pay-Per-Views......but when it comes to house shows, he is winless!! OMG!! CONSPIRACY!!! Besides that, really good show tonight. If I get a chance, I'll put down more feedback later.

Change your St. Louis avatar? But I heard Tony LaRussa spoke at your High School graduation....

Which is why, of course, there's only been people proclaiming that he may very well save the entire Satellite Radio industry with his jump onto Sirius. That always happens when you no longer become relevant. Ah yes, you also get major media attention in newspapers, top headlines on news websites, and a major cover story on the Drudge Report (gasp) when you are no longer relevant as well. Damn that Howard Stern. Why, he hasn't been talked about in years!

And with that, this thread can now be officially closed. Everything has gone full-circle. From Barron not having a hat to having a hat to not having a hat once again. From Damaramu not knowing anything about baseball to being the biggest Sox fan in the world. From Muggy possibly being considered a jinx to being considered the savior of the Boston Red Sox. Fine history in this thread.

This must be one of those fine arts things I never seem to understand....

Well, I needed to say something you didn't expect.

To be fair - As stupid as it sounds now that they would bounce back up from a bodyslam from the Big Show, keep in mind that they probably didn't KNOW they were supposed to sell the move. The test is: Take a bodyslam from the Big Show. Afterwards, they would need to get up and show they have the ability to stand up from even a Big Show bodyslam. Some were rather dumb by doing it immediately, but if they had sold and the others hadn't, they would look physically weaker in front of the fans that are voting for them. Their goal is to impress the home audience and the WWE suits in the back. For someone trying to win a WWE contract, what sounds more impressive? Rolling around the mat, screaming in pain after a simple move OR being able to bounce back up and show that, even after the move, you're still fine and able to continue wrestling? They didn't know they were supposed to sell. And chances are, if they did sell when others had not, people were going to think that they're too weak to make it in WWE. By getting up as quick as they did, I think they just wanted to show that they have the ability to take these WWE moves without getting hurt. Meanwhile, for all we know, the Tough Enough coordinators might not have even told them to sell after the move, figuring that it went without saying. Look at it as miscommunication on both sides. With that being said, yeah, I don't want to see this shit on my TV either. It's like the Diva search all over again - only somehow more unappealing.

Snopes: Washington Redskins The Urban Legends Reference Page says it's true as well.

Is Drek Stone doomed to lose every House Show match he ever competes in?! Oh, what has this world come to?!
-
I so need to start one of these.

Ms. Crabtree goes off to find help, and winds up embarrassing CarrotTop and becoming a professional comedian. Meanwhile, the kids can't get off the bus because a big, scary monster will eat them. As a result, they think back to all the previous episodes - like Cartman actually getting buff off Beefcake, Stan constantly making out with Wendy, and Fonzie jumping over a pool filled with sharks. Very underrated episode.

I think I may actually have to buy this DVD.

By the way, I think WWE is showing the video clips of Taboo Tuesday rather than the photo stills since there's no chance of anyone ordering an encore. Before, the PPV was on Sunday - Raw was on Monday - the encore was on Tuesday. It'd be silly to show the actual video of the PPV since you could be costing yourself encore buys. Now, it doesn't even matter if you show video clips, since there isn't an encore showing available anymore. Thought it was about time for me to make an intelligent WWE-related post.

Could that Shawn Michaels graphic be any worse? "Yes! I'm gonna get pumped for that HBK interview coming up next! He's so angry that he.....punched himself in the jaw. And then laughed. Oh, I can't wait to see how intense Shawn is tonight!!"
-
Oh no, the sound guy must have thought he had the night off too! Damn that wild Bischoff! He's a loose cannon!

My About-Face On "Prolonged Stupidity" Bannings
NYU replied to The Czech Republic's topic in No Holds Barred
Edited for accuracy. This "edited for accuracy" bit is possibly the most overused joke on TSM - with the least likelihood to actually be humorous. I'm not faulting you specifically here. But I've just seen SO many people use it, and I don't think I've laughed once at it. And yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Banders either. I don't remember him being quite this terrible before, but he's gotten much worse since he decided to start posting more frequently. -
No, Hoff has broken my heart too many times. Why should this time be any different? He did this with the intention to spite me. You don't know him like I do.
-
*checks PM box* Stupid Hoff. I didn't even want one of your stupid PMs anyway. So it's good that you didn't send one to me. Because I didn't even want one. Stupid OAOAST and its stupid Main Event angles. *walks back home slowly as the sad "Incredible Hulk" music plays in the background*

The Round Robin Tiebreaker Winner gets a Heavyweight Title Shot in November Ladder Match: Drek Stone vs. Panther
