The Republicans are basically completely corrupt, or at least this story is making them out to be that way. It's time to wipe the scum off the streets, I say.

The only letdown last night was not getting to see the fat uber-nerd guy spaz out or something. I thought maybe he'd have a heart attack and die (like what happened in a real life news story last year, IIRC).

OK, yeah, that is right. The National Titles were basically the Georgia promotion's tag belts. The Road Warriors DVD actually covers this.

Don't forget that they also sometimes showcased some of the more regional NWA titles, like the Florida Heavyweight Title, etc. MX, I don't remember the Road Warriors holding a "National Tag Team Title", but I do remember them being seen on TV as the "NWA International Tag Team Champions", which was actually a tag title from All Japan wrestling that they won from Tsuruta and Tenryu.

I agree. I also noticed the last time I listened to it that some of the tracks seem really rough. I know it's a live album and all, but I really don't like how some of the tracks were mixed. It overall sounds very substandard for a U2 album, I guess. There are some highlights on the album, but I guess the blues and rock covers done by U2 kind of grate on me after a while.

Similar to calling jobbers "youngsters", when Carlos Colon appeared at the Royal Rumble one year Gorilla Monsoon called him a "youngster" even though he was well over 40. I also remember laughing my ass off at an early episode of Monday Night Raw when Rob Bartlett asked Vince McMahon "Who's this guy wrestling Shawn Michaels? Some guy they dragged off the street?" and Vince had to stammer and say something like "He's a young man who's enjoyed a bit of success here in the WWF," or something like that, referring to a jobber HBK was squashing.

Well, I find it hard to believe that they would do that intentionally, but who really knows? They've definitely been playing the "Democrats are exploiting this issue right before the election" card a lot more than the other networks.

They need to bounce Hastert out of Congress if he in fact had any idea this was happening.

Hey...did we forget the DPRK still existed since all this stuff flaring up in the Middle East? North Korea is threatening to conduct a nuclear test. Remember when they launched six missiles earlier this year in Hawaii's direction and how well that was handled afterwards???

I just want to know when Bush is finally going to be held accountable for all his bungling over the last few years. Yes, maybe he had good honest intentions going into Iraq, but he still has made too many mistakes. There still has to be punishment for failure.

Sounded like a great environment for a child to grow up in regardless, based on the quotes and other circumstances provided.

This is why this country needs to require a license in order for people to have children.

Exactly (about the Critic). I loved that show too, but most of the jokes are terribly dated now. Plus, Comedy Central ran the show in re-runs for a long time, so I feel like I got more than my fill.
