  1. You really want to pay PPV ticket prices?
  2. And the winner of the best smart-ass crack about the Rumble poster goes to... ...MarvinisaLunatic! Good job, buddy. Everyone else, better luck next year.
  3. Wow...Raw was actually pretty good this year. Who'd have thunk?
  4. Hunter's Torn Quad's the man. Thanks, hoss.
  5. This works for 2 reasons: -75% of Orton's fanbase is chicks. -"Randy" is another word for "horny". WWE: masters of the double entendre.
  6. The Women's belt will be around as long as Trish needs it for a prop.
  7. Actually, that's not necessarily true. I forgot who it was, but a person overlooked the WWF writers in 2000, when the show was at it's peak. I believe it was a lady, but I can't recall her name. And USA promoted Raw better than Spike TV/TNN did. There was a producer for USA that helped Raw, but I think she left the network before Raw did. As far as promotion goes...the ratings steady decline probably wasn't caused by promotion. While promotion gets you new viewers, it doesn't guarantee they'll stick around. Having a declining product causes you to loose viewers. I'd say that reason is more relevant. THANK YOU!!!!!!
  8. Because they're good movies?
  9. Job experience trumps (no pun intended) wordsmithing skills. Its more impressive to be able to give real-life examples to answer questions than it is to make unverifiable personal statements about ability and business philosophy. You can have all the job experience in the world, with lots of examples to draw from, but it means nothing if you can't get through to the interviewer, and this is (sadly) where I think the Jen-bot has an advantage. We know she's got job experience (since Andy was the only one who didn't), and we've seen her BS through presentations (QVC, Levis) and earn the praise of PMs and execs, so I really do feel that she'll do well, as much as I hate to say it. That kind of depends on how good Trump's interviewers are. During the first season, they nailed Amy for giving hollow answers (one guy even referred to her as a "Stepford wife"). I've been on interviews where I had no job experience and did okay since I knew the right things to say, but have always done better on interviews where I had some experiences to back up my examples. Sandy isn't completely without verbal skills, as she was able to hold her own against Mr. Debate Champ. One bright side: if neither one of them win, they'll probably get offered big money to do a pictoral together.
  10. Kevin also has an MBA, and had a software company with his brother. Job experience trumps (no pun intended) wordsmithing skills. Its more impressive to be able to give real-life examples to answer questions than it is to make unverifiable personal statements about ability and business philosophy.
  11. Post hoc reasoning. RAW moving to TNN was not the reason the show started to suck, but an independent event that coincided with the decline and merely created the illusion of a cause/effect relationship.
  12. Because, you know, the shows will automatically get better if they're on a different channel.
  13. Ivana's been on borrowed time since the Bradford incident, and I've pretty passionately hated her ever since the Stacie 8-ball controversy. Kelly's probably going to win by default, since Jen's all talk, Kevin makes too many mistakes, and Sandy lacks the educational creditials.
  14. What's the speed other people's DVD recorders can record at without the picture looking too pixelled? I tried taping RAW at 4 hour speed Monday night and the picture looked like crap.
  15. Was Elizabeth the one who turned out to be an actress? I missed the episode where she was fired.
  16. You're kidding right? Dames Well it IS kind of out of focus. I know who it looks like, but I couldn't place the context.
  17. I always thought Michelle was the hottest of the bunch. Not hot enough to get me to tune in, though. Thanks to the internet, I don't have to watch this crap, but still know what's going on.
  18. If Melina can work, her fugliness is a non-issue.
  19. I think the love for the Elimination Chambe comes from the realization that it just hasn't been used to its full potential yet. The only person who ever did anything remotely innovative with it was RVD.
  20. Basically everytime someone turns and suddenly their buddies with all the people they just got done feuding with makes me cringe. At least when Jericho and HHH tag teamed last year they had a scene of Flair talking them into getting along, or remember scene where Benoit made nice with Benjamin when he first got to Raw? Times like that lets me know the writers are actually awake (sometimes).
  21. Sad, but true.
  22. I don't think you seem to understand that these new Divas are not part of the women's division. Of course, I wouldn't be complaining if it were just Candance. (Too bad she put on a new, less revealing, bra before the lingerie show. Those were some magnificent funbags.) In theory, Hispanic people in the western hemisphere can trace their lineage back to Native Americans, who are beleived to share common ancestry with East Asians. Hence, the similar look. Gracias.
