  1. Taker didn't feud with Tommy Dreamer for a month. Jeff Hardy got loud pops and sold lots of merchandise. Taker did not have to fly all the way to South Africa to fight him. Taker also wasn't made to be scared of Jeff Hardy and run like a bitch from him
  2. I vote for Squirtle. He is everything a man should be.
  3. The problem is that Austin loves being on live TV. So I don't think he would like just doing house shows.
  4. What? Your name is Hugh Morrus. What? Is that supposed to be humorous? His skits with Angle had me in tears everytime I watched them. I love how one RAW he kept saying 'My name is Stone Cold Steve Austin' and Vince responded with: Steve- everyone knows what your name is. And of course.... THE BEDPAN OF DOOM!~
  5. They don't really need one. The wrestlers should stand up for themselves and not have a cripple do it for them

  7. I loved watching Stone Cold until early 2002 when he stopped giving a shit. I'm glad he's gone and I hope he never comes back.
  8. Yea- basically me and treble charged were both up at 6 am or something when no one else was on so we thought it'd be cool. The weird thing is that right after I did it- the board completely crashed so I ended up being the last one to post in every topic for most of the day
  9. Man: How many of you kids would like Itchy & Scratchy to deal with real-life problems, like the ones you face every day? Kids: [clamoring] Oh, yeah! I would! Great idea! Yeah, that's it! Man: And who would like to see them do just the opposite -- getting into far-out situations involving robots and magic powers? Kids: [clamoring] Me! Yeah! Oh, cool! Yeah, that's what I want! Man: So, you want a realistic, down-to-earth show... that's completely off-the-wall and swarming with magic robots? Kids: [all agreeing, quieter this time] That's right. Oh yeah, good.
  10. That movie owned- it was excellent. I don't know if it was better then the first but it was one amazing film. And can we please merge both threads?
  11. How was Judgement Day better then the last 5 shows you listed? No Mercy and Bad Blood both had good matches. And while Armageddon was bad at least they didn't book Test twice, Steiner/Test v. La Res, Hogan v. Piper and Nash v. HHH.
  12. Joe Dirt beat me to it
  13. I filled out the survey. While I didn't agree with all the questions I thought it was pretty good. I hope it helps
  14. Norm wasn't credited for his cameo in Man on the Moon. His cameo in the Animal is funny stuff
  15. Don't knock the Bunkhouse Buck feud. They had a lot of fun old school brawls. Bunkhouse Buck's selling is hilarious and I love Col. Robert Parker. Check out their Slamboree 94 match. Not a technical masterpiece or anything but it's a lot of fun to watch. Goldust was getting a lot of heat from early 96-mid 96 (especially when Dustin had the gay gimmick turned all the way up) and they could easily do a feud where Goldust comes on to HBK and does his usual stuff and then it's revealed he did it all just cause he knew it'd be the easiest way to get a title shot.
  16. I'd have to disagree with that one. Dustin was very over in 1992-1993 and I think the WCW fans could've easily bought him as World champ or world title contender. I know he faced Vader a couple times and lost but they could seriously have built a hell of feud there with a hell of a blowoff. Now in terms of WWF: I don't think Goldust should've ever been champion but had they milked the gay gimmick for a few more months I think he could've done well in a World Title feud with HBK. And I'm not saying he should've won the world title but Goldust was very very over once he turned face in 2002 and I'm amazed at how they managed to just drop the ball with him and how he somehow became unemployed two years later
  17. Joe's beaten the fuck out of both with Jay taking more of the punishment. When it comes out check out At Our Best- Joe pretty much legally murders poor Jay and leaves him lying in a pool of his own bed. I have no idea how Jay Briscoe was not only not dead- but was walking around afterwards taking pictures.

  19. All in the Family is actually the most spun-off show ever. All in the Family spun off Maude, the Jeffersons and Gloria. Some people call Archie Bunker's Place a spin-off of AITF but the TV book I referenced in my review lists AITF and Archie Bunker's Place as one series. Maude spun off Good Times. The Jeffersons spun off Checking In. The show Hanging In was originally supposed to be a new version of Maude where Maude was a congresswoman. The series eventually got changed around and the star ended up being Bill Macy who played Maude's husband. There's also 704 Hauser which came out in 1994. On this show a black family lived in the Bunker's old residence. Maura Tierney was on that show. Thanks for the Good Times info Verne. If I'm ever up for it- I'll check it out
  20. I agree here- I did get a big laugh over Janet not knowing the names of her siblings. The rest was the usual shitty monologue. Brian Fellows Safari Planet will never ever own my ass. I've never ever gotten the appeal of it. Tracy Morgan has so much good to offer the world- yet this is the one character people focus on. It's a shame. Damn you Kenan Thompson. I was so close to getting a joy of a DUD! but he had to ruin for it. I'm still not that big of a Finesse Mitchell fan. Kenan is smoking him in the funny black guy department and I wonder if they will bother to bring him back. I love the fact that they now do it at the most of random of times. Like the time they did it during the finale etc. Who knew that something featuring Chris Kattan would become a guilty pleasure of mine? When I first saw the outfits I remembered the wine spitting skit from Jack Black and wondered why the heck they were doing this again. Parnell was so out of place in that skit. I guess he was supposed to be with Janet- but it seemed like he was gay. I'm not going to pick apart a skit that uses the word cock as a humour device. I have to ask YNA- How did this not get a DUD!?
  21. Gary Coleman in Dirty Work- it's just so random but so so funny.
  22. 19, going to school in Toronto, Ontario.
  23. I don't have any ink on me. (I know I know- don't sound so shocked) I've always thought of getting one of the logos of my sports teams tattooed but the fact that it's with you forever scares me
  24. I'm thinking that they're going to give the three-way a lot of time. Plus I think Foley v. Orton will be quite the long match (15-20+) as well.
  25. The World Series was in someone else's grasp that year as well. AS is right. The Braves easily would've rallied back and won the division and end up winning the World Series.
