Portland sure were busy today. Getting Aldridge, Roy and clearing out a sizeable chunk of a roster in desperate need of an overhaul is good with me, only way it would have been better was if they could've dumped Miles and Randolph out in one of their many trades but i guess you can't have everything you want. They were going to be bad next year anyway but at least now they'll be crap with hope for the future, particularly if their shittiness is rewarded with Greg Oden in a years time.

On target for a 1-11 loss, even at this stage i think it's safe to say last place in this league is mine for good. At least it's a keeper league, Hanley Ramirez/Pedro/Santana/Peavy will give me a good core to rebuild this mess next year.

That Steiner/Joe piece was definately a money promo, i've barely watched anything TNA-related since 2004 or so and it's made me want to see this Steiner/Joe match bad, so i'd say it's done it's job. Other than maybe the original Truth angle it's the best promo work TNA has ever done (that i've seen at least). Between this and the Nash/Shelley stuff it's made me think i should maybe give TNA another shot.

If tonight's ECW show is any indication ECW is going to have all the same WWE-style quick camera cuts and jumps that miss most of the impact of moves as well. Definately an annoyance.
