  1. Thanks a bunch! By the way, I noticed in the lyrics section there that they claim Victoria used"All the Things She Said" as an entrance theme. When did she use that?
  2. because I know that every time SMackdown comes on, I have a chance to see Benoit, Kidman, Mysterio, or Ultimo Dragon, who are among my favorite wrestlers
  3. Tommy, like a lot of the ECW guys, is a pretty okay wrestler who was booked to his talents. That is the proper way to book. You will never have the perfect wrestler, so you do the best with what the men(and women) you have can do. Tommy is a brawler who'd have felt at home in FMW, so OF COURSE you book the man as such. Just like you don't put Hulk Hogan against Ultimo Dragon or Rey Mysterio Jr.
  4. Rey, Ultimo, Taz, and RVD I think have all suffered.
  5. hey, thanks for the themes. Could you keep them up another day or so? Also, know of anyplace with other puro themes, Hayabusa's in particular?
  6. I'm currently working through Noir, on the last volume. That is a very neat show which should not be missed. All time favorites include Gundam Wing and Endless Waltz, Excel Saga, CCS(I'm dead serious), Urusei Yatsura, DBZ(not as good as some say, not as bad as others say), Azumanga Daioh, Love Hina, Lupin III, and anything by Hayao Miyazaki.
  7. How's about this: Fire Mike Cole, who doesn't even belong on a B movie cast, let alone doing commentary for the biggest wrestling organization in the States and let Angle do the commentary. Someone said Al Snow did a good job on RAW. If he doesn't want to wrestle, put him on RAW for Lawler
  8. Didn't Taz also have the special FTW belt in ECW?
  9. First Blood was a really good movie even if a straight up action movie isn't your thing. That movie is pretty underrated.

  11. Okay, I will admit I didn't know that.
  12. I haven't gone to a beach in years. They sang about a lot of other stuff too. And well, heck, we all need some good cheeriness here and there. I'm a hopeless fan of them. As for the Beatles, I wouldn't say they suck, certainly, but they just don't do anything for me. Just me, I guess
  13. Is this a custom compilation then? That sounds freakin' sweet.
  14. I can't believe no one is mentioning the Beach Boys when they talk 60s and 70s. Sure, they weren't great at first, but they were quite possibly the most talented vocal wise group in rock history. I DARE anyone to sit with a good Beach boys CD and not feel good afterward. Checl out their live double album on a CD Concert/Live In London for a great example. Modern pop music DOES suck, but a lot of it is subjective. I love the Beach Boys to death, but I am one of like 10 people on the face of this earth who don't like the Beatles. Millions declare the Rolling Stones the greatest badn on earth, while I say i liked Paint it Black, other than that, their hits CD Fourty Licks did very little for me. Meanwhile, my little brother loves pop and would be into rap if he were allowed to. I once was talking about Elvis to him and he called him "Nelly back then". That says a whole lot.
  15. "One Of A Kind" off RVD's site
  16. I've been raiding my local library recently for "Essential" collections. I've read the first volume for Daredevil, Spiderman, and 2 and 3 of Avengers. Maybe I'm just a superhero mark, but I really like a lot of what I see. I think that there is some good character devlopment going on, despite some really jarring stuff, like the constant insults directed at women("just a foolish female" and the like comes to mind). What do you guys think of early Marvel?
  17. Okay, I must admit that I have not read any of the original Cap comics, I've read volumes 2 and 3 of Essential Avengers, but he retires for a while in 3 and it's quite evident that this is pretty close to the end for him. ANyways, from what I understand of his storyline, Cap was injected with some stuff that made him superhuman, so, given that, in a straight up fight he could presumably beat up Batman, who has no superpowers. The only way Batman could win is by using his Bat gear. Just my two cents.
  18. The last book I read was "Betrayl" by Lois Tilton. It's one of the early Star Trek: Deep Space Nine books. Pretty interesting, with stuff about the Bajoran religon I don't ever remember seeing in the show and some theories about terrorists and can they live in a peaceful world. Not the deepest book, but definately deeper than a lot of the Star Trek I've read, and I've read a LOT. I'm also a huge fan of the X Wing books and most anything original trilogy Star Wars.
  19. The problem is that that would involve a shred of intelligence, and well, the WWF proved it long ago didn't have any when it signed Henry to that long term contract. I mean, seriously, the man gets a HUGE line of sweat rnning down his back just from walking down to the ring. Give him a sumo gimmick or something, that's the best thing to do right now and pray for the best. Maybe he can feud with Rikishi or something
  20. When was the last time anyone bashed Funaki? By the way, what ever happened to him? He's disappeared of late from my view at least. Is he stuck on Velocity?
  21. you didn't like Jerry Lynn vs. Juvi? I thought that was the best match on the thing, easily, with the Sharkboy match second.
  22. Let me put it this way. I have the Best Of Jimi Hendrix or whatever it is. That has Voodoo Child(Slight Return) which is Hogan's song. On the Martin Scorese Presents the Blues CD for Hendrix, there is Voodoo Chile, which is a blues style version. I know because I heard it on the Rhapsody demo at my Best Buy.
  23. That match made me cringe more than anything when they all fell off the scaffolding. It's weird though how all my wrestling DVDs have been of dead feds. FMW, ECW, and now XPW. Did anything ever come out of the deathmatch when HHA kissed Alter Boy Luke?
  24. Could you guys do me a favor and please change my name to Masked Man Of Mystery? Thanks in advance.
  25. Voodoo Chile was the original name for the song, and Jimi Hendrix did it in a more low key bluesy style. Voodoo Child(Slight Return) is the full name of the song Hulk Hogan used as his entrance theme, as it is essentially just a blow your mind on the guitar version of the original where it is true that he's barely comprehensible.
