Well, it certainly is rather sporting of them to offer these quaint little press releases.

Yes. There is no dignity in death. Regardless of whether you're religious or not - if you believe in the soul, if you believe that upon death whatever it is that makes you, well, you, departs for whatever lies beyond the veil of this mortal coil, the fact of the matter is: we're all flesh, and we're all gonna rot in the ground. Nothing dignified about it. Call it for what it is! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with "dignity" and everything to do with just not wanting a death that's painful and spread out over an extended period of time.

The Covers To Marvel Comic Books Looking The Same
Vyce replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Literature
Don't know if you were joking or not but, this is the cover to issue #3. http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stories/040...ledeadpool3.htm I'll be damned... Good old predictable Rob. -
Art imitates life, eh?

I actually kinda wish Goldberg was still around, I would have enjoyed hearing about him beating the shit out of Bradshaw. Given the fact that Jericho apparently took Goldberg to school, I'd have little confidence that Bill could beat Bradshaw's ass.
-
Why would you - .....no, never mind. I don't EVEN want to hear your rationalization.
-
See, I’ve never bought into this whole “dying with dignity” bullshit. IMO, there is NO dignity in death. Doesn’t matter how you die: car accident, illness, dying of a heart attack while on the shitter. Dead's just dead. Nothing romantic or dignified about it. Some deaths are just more painful and / or embarrassing.
-
I agree. How dare them! Can't they see that this is a MUCH bigger story than the death of one of the most influential and important individuals of the past 100 years?

Well, Chancellor Schroeder has publicly stated during these past few days that he thinks that it's time that Germany acknowledged the part it played in the events of D-Day. A good start would be to not get their panties in a twist over something as inconsequential as the idiotic actions of a wrestler at an otherwise unremarkable wrestling event. Not to excuse Bradshaw's behavior, but this is SUCH a NON-scandal that it's ridiculous. Vyce -= Who's upset that his funny little Nazi joke in his previous post got no-sold.

I'm not surprised, and neither are you. It would have been nice for them to let the body grow cold, at least, but really, I expected nothing so generous from those like them. I'm surprised no one has seriously tried something like "Bush must be pissed off that he died now and not right before the election" although I'm sure that one will be coming sooner or later. Hell - I know some people who, quite frankly, I'm shocked haven't come out and postulated that W had Reagan snuffed out in order to get a few points based upon sympathy.
-
I say let it be done. Only there's a catch - the only legal method to perform euthanasia would be a bullet to the head, execution style. If people still want it after that, then let's give it to them.

This is way back from page 1, but it sums up my feelings on FF7 110%.

Yeah, because Punk didn't contribute AT ALL to his own situation there, did he. Speaking as a non-card carrying ROH mark, I don't have the same baggage, and thus I can say that I hope to see Joe in TNA. I've been pulling for that for months.
-
C'mon guys, cut Bradshaw some slack. I'm sure he was just following orders.

I'm sorry, the guy's banned, but I still have to make this point. At what point are we supposed to forgive terrorists & mass murderers for their evil? When they become cripples? We should just forget the horrible, awful crimes against humanity committed by this guy because he's in a wheelchair? By that logic, we'd have forgiven monsters like Hitler or Stalin for their transgressions if only they'd grown a little gimpy in their old age.

If I'm not mistaken, John Kerry voted against the Patriot Act before he voted for it.

"Nobody wants to listen to left-wing radio."
Vyce replied to Jobber of the Week's topic in Current Events
Okay.....this "network" is on a ridiculously low number of radio stations around the country, a fraction of the stations that run Rush & Hannity & any other conservative blowhard, but since it's doing well in a FEW traditionally liberal markets (although, yes, NY is the largest radio market of them all), people are supposed to apologize? I'm with kkk - I don't give a shit about this, but I think one should be asking for apologies only when "Air America" actually proves to be, say, a QUARTER as successful as Rush et al are today. And it's not even close. -
Excellent film. Easily the best of the HP films thus far: the acting was good, the SFX was good, the direction was good, and the film was more dark and grim (which is a plus in my book) AND, thankfully, they focused almost exclusively on the plot in this one instead of, like in the two previous films, focusing on some of the little tidbits about life at Hogwarts that were everywhere in the first two films. VERY big thumbs up from me.

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but I browsed through "Excalibur #1" in the comic shop the other day, and am I to infer that Magneto is, in fact, already alive again, even though he was killed off YET AGAIN a few issues back in New X-Men? I'm not wasting spoiler tags on this, BTW. If so: Jesus fucking Christ. I'd love a moratorium on the character. You kill him off, you leave him dead for something like a DECADE, at the least.

I'm just enjoying the supreme counterproductiveness that is the Smackdown booking team. Yeah, they wanted Holly to job to Booker...... .....only to give Booker some heat to go and job to Undertaker in a squash. Fuck EVERY ONE of them - except Booker.
-
Well then, I wish Vince had been a little less "nice" in that regard, because if he had let someone who was only in it for the money have WCW, maybe it'd still be around and we'd have a viable alternative.

This entire thread is retarded, and deserves to die a quick, yet painful death.
-
He was planning it --- but his handlers disapproved. -=Mike Right, so they just decided to go with plan B - blowing up lots of people using conventional explosives. Seriously, this fucker should be left to rot.

I haven't enjoyed anything Tom Hanks did since......well, since Saving Private Ryan. (Haven't seen Road to Perdition yet.) I'll pass on this. Or better yet, just watch Harry Potter or the new Pitch Black sequel.
