  1. I have a serious question about Mania..... ....why should I fork over 50 bucks for it when I can just buy the DVD in two months for at least 20 bucks less?
  2. JOHNNY FUCKING BLAZE. Yank Orton out of the Foley match and stick Johnny in instead, and they've GOT my money this Sunday.
  3. I thought we weren't supposed to post FLUFF pieces here?

  5. I don't know if the cops legally can. If the cops were behind this sort of thing, I'm pretty sure that it'd be entrapment, which would mean that any bust they would make on these pervs would instantly get thrown out the window on fifth amendment grounds. Since it's private citizens doing this, though, there's no constitutional violation. Entrapment is where a police officer or other law enforcement officer induces a person to commit a crime that the person wouldn’t have committed otherwise. I'm pretty sure its not entrapment so long as its the perp who offers to have sex. It's perfectly legal for cops to lie, they do it in interrogation all the time. So posing as a 14 year old is legal as long as they don't tell the 38 year old perv to meet up and have sex it has to be the other way around. True. However, I think that you would agree that the lines would get blurred from time to time, and defense attorneys would have a field day arguing about constitutional violations if the police did run the sting. It's still better if it's done by private citizens. It's not a perfect system these guys are running, but they are doing some good work.

  8. I'm torn about this. On the one hand, the people from Perverted Justice are doing a GREAT service in protecting the public from the whole lot of these sick freaks..... ....but I'm not entirely sure whether the way they do it is entirely kosher.
  9. The top 5 movies did over a 100 million dollars, combined, for this weekend - that's pretty goddamn good for the first weekend in March. I'm actually pretty shocked that Passion has earned over 200 million already. I thought it'd do well, but over 200 million within a week and a half? Astounding. It'll make over 300 million EASY before it's all over and done with.
  10. I've yet to see you exhibit anything remotely close to a libertarian philosophy here. And isn't it ironic that you're all sensitive about people here making generalizations about you, when you label anyone here who follows a conservative ideology as a "Republican tool"?
  11. Alright then, I'm going to sit back and let you explain to me how Democrats / liberals haven't felt the same way about Bush, or treated him any differently than the Republicans treated Clinton in the way you've stated they have. Please, go ahead. It should be very amusing.
  12. No idea. Yeah so I take it you read what I posted above? I didn't think so. I did. Is it basically saying that the Democrat's anti-Bush ads are illegal with soft money? Obviously they should be... Uh...no not really but I'm sick of this. If you want to REALLY learn about what McCain-Feingold is feel free to PM me, email me, or IM me (it's all down below). If not, just go on the way you're going with your worthless rhetoric. I'm beyond caring at this point. Duder, do you happen to know where Tyler went? At least his rhetoric seemed a little more....thought out. It seems the intellectual quota of the liberal posters in this folder has dropped significantly.
  13. The (in)actions of one idiot do not excuse another, especially when the other one is the one is the one on the ballot. I agree, I agree... I just dont think its fair to single out one administration and let the entire blame reside on that administrations shoulders Well conservatives pretty much blame everything bad going on in this country on "this is how Clinton left the country for us when he left office" of course... republicans can only DREAM of having a president that get the things accomplished like my man W.J. Its just jealousy... drives them nuts So, when all else fails... blame Clinton Oh? And you don't possibly see, for one second, that many of the liberals in this country possess a hatred of Bush that is just as fierce - and utterly irrational - as was the hatred of Clinton by conservatives? It's the same. If anything, the attacks against Bush are even MORE vicious. Even the worst of the Clinton haters didn't compare the man to Hitler.
  14. No offense to you, JMA, but my God, it's a sad day when you're the moderate "liberal" on the board. Oh, and snuffbox: silly me, I forgot - we need the U.N. to hold our hand and tell us everything we can and cannot do. Cause God knows, there's just no legitimacy to the world without them.
  15. Actually, we just sit back and let you or hunger open your mouths. It's the "let the opposition prove themselves fools" approach.
  16. Weren't you already warned about idiotic and near criminal (if not outrightly so) comments like this? I think Ashcroft is a crazy fundamentalist, that doesn't mean I wish for him to kick the bucket. Christ. I did not state that I "wished for him to kick the bucket" nor even implied it. I merely stated: "Well, that's one down." I wish Ashcroft a speedy recovery. I think if I knew you in person, every day of my life would be a constant struggle not to punch you in the throat. You DO know that karma refers to a person's actions in their PAST life, right? Cause I'd hate for you to be saying something moronic here.
  17. Actually, it's not. Trying to convince you otherwise is an exercise in futility, though. Continue onward with your ignorance, young lad.
  18. Didn't Howard used to have a KKK guy on there, Daniel Carver, who would use that word 40 times during the course of a conversation? I am more apt to agree with Howard. To kick him off the air because some of his program is raunchy or homophobic or racist........well where the fuck have you people been since 1980? That only strengthens the argument that the Clear Channel response was merely a knee-jerk reaction to governmental scrutiny, a showing of goodwill to get into the FCC's good graces by sacrificing radio's number one offender, and, ultimately, just a business move. It just further shows how much Howard is full of shit trying to make this into some sort of Machiavellian politcal conspiracy against him. As for "needing" Howard - there will ALWAYS be people testing the boundaries. Howard stopped doing that a LONG time ago. It's just easier now for him to go out of the business claiming he was forced out - making him seem like one of his idols, Lenny Bruce - because it seems to add some relevance to a career that's long since ceased to be just that. He becomes (at least in the mind of his lemming-like fans) "Howard Stern, victim of governmental oppression" rather than what he truly is: a washed-up shock jock who has become everything that he once hated.
  19. You know, I'm only stating the obvious here, but Angle's facial expressions / overall reactions are completely making this feud.
  20. Howard's completely lost his mind at this point. Trying to pin this on Bush is a new level of absurdity even for him. Howard is, of course, completely ignoring the comments that got him kicked off - when a caller phoned in to ask Hilton's ex, and I quote, "Have you ever done any famous n*gger chicks?" MSN had a great article about this situation yesterday; it pretty much stated how Howard is a broadcaster in the utter twilight of his career who's essentially become irrelevant but is unable to acknowledge that. So he has to concoct this bizarre conspiracy theory in order to make himself seem the victim. Bullshit. This FCC business has been building for a good couple years now, and if he didn't realize that sooner or later it'd be his time in the crosshairs he's even more out of touch than I imagined.
  21. I said that's what I wanted. We both know I never get what I want. In Ten years America's major "sport" is gonna be driving a car around in circles and I'll be forced to flee and seek refuge in third world carless countries. I don't want it to come to that. I never understood the outcry when Dale Sr. died. The only reason I'd ever watch NASCAR would be to see one of those fucktards crash and burn. Professional baseball has about as much honor, dignity and respect as the WWE these days. In fact, with the recent steroid scandals, they're more like the WWE than ever before. America's pasttime my ass.
  22. Probably all of that fluoride.
  23. Shows like this make be aspire to be a misogynist.
  24. Alton Brown? Ugh. I seem to be the only one here who's not a fan. I'm sure he'll pitch a fit if the competitors dare to use anything other than "kosher" salt.....
