This is merely what we call, "cutting the dead weight". Which, sorry, is what they are, because TNA obviously has no use for them and they're all rather easily replaced at this point. Hell, give Buck Quartermain or Lex Lovett or Jerome Clark or Mikey Batts, etc., their spot, and it'll make no difference.

Ultimate X AGAIN? Seriously, didn't they just use that? Wasn't it on the 1st PPV or something?
-
In a somewhat related story, D.C. Councilman Adrian Fenty wants to ban games like Grand Theft Auto from the District of Columbia, because he believes it promotes criminal behavior and black-on-black crime. And I mourn a little more over the death of personal responsibility.

I haven't watched much (which is to say, any) puro from 2004 / 2005, so I have to ask, has Kojima stepped it up as a worker?
-
Didn't you know? It's the latest trend. I'm hoping for some Bush twins HLA myself. There was a thread or two back in October before the elections. It had numerous examples, I believe, of Keyes random insanity / idiocy.
-
Point, but can't the same be said for.....pretty much every candidate, when it comes to......pretty much every special interest group?
-
You're right, she hasn't. Which is why Alan Keyes is a hypocrite and a very sad, pathetic man / Christian.

Please, I don't waste time with liberal propaganda pieces (i.e. F 9/11), and I don't waste time with conservative propaganda pieces. I have better things to do with my time. Like torrent episodes of 24.

Yes! That show desperately needs a DVD release. And this thread is really bringing back the memories.
-
Damn. Outside of the WMania commercial and maybe Cena v. Booker T, this is a totally missable Smackdown.

I would venture to say yes. We're all sinners. That's kind of a given. Sin is a concept within a religious structure which I do not believe in. Just saying. Christ. No pun intended. Then just substitute "sin" for "fallibility" or "wrongdoing" or "iniquity". Surely you can fit one of THOSE concepts into your paradigm.

I wonder if he feels his own daughter is a sinner, and if so, that would be sad indeed. I think it's obvious that he does. I think the reason why she says she's gotten offers for places to live is because he's pretty much washed his hands of her. I got into a minor argument with a family member over this earlier this morning.....it's guys like Keyes which really bring down conservative politics. Based upon his beliefs and his faith, okay, maybe he has a right to be a bit, I don't know, disappointed in the lifestyle choice of his daughter, but to carry on about how all homosexuals are sinners is just fucking hypocritical, particularly when Christianity is SUPPOSED to be a religion of tolerance and love.

I read that as "evil goatsee" at first. Oh my. Well, I would hope that not even the WWE would subject its audience to THAT. Jesus, what has Alexis done to get stuck in this? What would her gimmick be? "I'm Alexis, the fag-hag!"

Despite all of my better judgment, I may have to watch some of this trial, because it looks to be the biggest goddamn circus ever. Cirque de Soleil only wishes it was this big (or homoerotic).

Bah. RRRudo's just privately jerking off at the thought of Lesnar doing Pride or K-1 over in Japan.
-
Don't you remember those ideas you guys misquoted and misrepresented all year last year? You mean the plan he never revealed? -=Mike Well, he apparently DID have a plan, which you could read all about, provided you go to a special website, rather than him......you know......actually talk about it out loud for one moment during the thousands of hours he spent on TV in the months leading up to the election.....

Don't give Show the short thrift here - a large part of that career revitalization isn't just how he's been booked, but because he's been, for the most part, busting his ass in the ring ever since coming to Smackdown.
-
Of course you know Iron Man would kick all of the X-Men's asses... Of course he would, because the X-Men are the most overrated superheroes EVER.
-
My friend has a theory about "I, Robot" - it's the type of film that Arnold would have made, if Arnold was still young and making films. I think he's right. And then I think about how much cheesy fun that movie would have been if it was classic Arnold in that movie instead of Will Smith.

Despite her being really, really evil, I think I would probably screw the terrorist mom.

Jesus, watch that bleeding heart of yours, your blood is staining my shoes. I'll do you one better - I'm not sorry the guy's dead. I'll elaborate in a moment. ABSOLUTELY immaterial. As Meatwad stated, this happens in EVERY WAR. This asshole didn't kill himself because, he was going to be sent to fight AN ILLEGAL WAR, BY GOD, he killed himself because he couldn't handle warfare, PERIOD. The reasons behind the war make. no. fucking. difference. God, you're just using your OWN issues about the war and associating them with this guy. He couldn't handle it. Quite frankly, I'm glad he never will be over there fighting in Iraq, because if he can't handle it, then to put him in a situation where other soldier's lives might depend upon him could be (and likely would be) calamitous. And quite frankly, if anyone wants to take the coward's way out by killing themselves, more power to them. The world really IS a better place without them.

I'm not sure about the theater numbers, but I'm hearing absolutely great word of mouth about the film. Apparently, the story isn't much to write home about (but that's true for most low-budget martial arts flicks), but the action is supposed to be off-the-wall and a throwback to some of the great martial arts films of times past. I've seen Tony Jaa being compared by some to Bruce Lee, not in the sense of saying Jaa is on that level, but in that he's breathtaking to watch and is more "real" than what we're used to seeing these days, where filmmakers seem to feel that every kung-fu (or in this case, Muay Thai) flick made needs to have guys flying around on wires. I'm definitely going to try and catch it in the next couple weeks. I'm with you. I was never really that fond of him, but I tolerated him probably up until "Enemy of the State", after which I can't fucking stand the guy.

All this dick-waving over who's part of the country is least-racist is meaningless. The answer to the Condi nomination is still: the country as a whole is still far too prejudiced to elect a black woman into the presidency. It'd be tough to elect a woman (should Hillary decide to run), and it would also be tough to elect a black man (should someone like Powell ever run), but a candidate who's both black and female? Forget it. Not going to happen. We won't even be close to ready for that as a nation for at LEAST another dozen years or so.
-
You know the old saying: for every hot chick, there's a guy who's tired of fucking her.
-
I don't have a freakin' clue why Mike keeps going on and on about Rice getting the nomination. Say what you will about Rudy and whatever faults he may have, he is approximately 3,400 times more likely to get the nom than Rice. America isn't ready to elect a WOMAN, period, to the presidency, let alone a BLACK woman. Let's be brutally honest, here - how many of those "red states" do you think will be ready and willing to vote for a black woman to lead the nation? Shit, I'm a conservative, but I have to say she doesn't have a shot in hell.
