  1. I can't see Buck placing above Ausmus and Co. Not with a .280 OBP in half a season. I think Lieberthal ranks too highly. His defense is legitimately terrible.
  2. Slamma Lamma Ding Dong!
  3. I was thinking more along the lines of banning Scooter, but whatever floats your boat!
  4. http://msn.foxsports.com/feedback You have your mission kids.
  5. Caminiti was an Atlanta Brave in his last season, you know.
  6. Live chat tonight..... aim:gochat?roomname=tsmbaseball Chat about the game, playoffs in general, or even shoot your Sports mod/Baseball writer a question or two.
  7. Just a reminder that the draft is 8pm tomorrow. Be sure to go to the league page and give things a test run.
  8. With voting about at an end, I'm opening the topic for debate. Feel free to discuss and debate who you think deserves the awards. I'll have the results tomorrow.
  9. Because when you end your season (and not on a bang, but a whimper, like LA did) you tend to be more concerned with breaking something. Must people aren't like you in that regard. Usually the reaction is subdued disappointment.
  10. The Astros have the added benefit of having taken 10 of 18 from the Cardinals during the season.
  11. Absolutely. And the Dodgers have nothing to be ashamed of. They were overmatched, but they gave it their best shot.
  12. It never happened. Congrats to the Cardinals on their victory.
  13. You, apparently.
  14. Is anyone interested in a chat? I'll set one up if people are interested.
  15. Yeah, considering my damned name is at the top of the forums.
  16. Lima is a middle-aged Dontrelle Willis.
  17. Strictly from a HR standpoint, the Yankees. However, the Red Sox have a higher slugging percentage, and hit many more doubles, which we might expect from playing in Fenway.
  18. An hour five doesn't count as bumping.
  19. This is officially the thread that will never die.
  20. On the matter of last year, I'm considering the subject closed. We've discussed the series ad nauseum at this point, and there is no need to rehash it. And KingPK, I'll take care of any problems in this thread if need be. As for Schilling's ankle, a poster made the point that Lieber's back is more of a concern. It may be, but the ankle is nothing to sneeze at. Dizzy Dean blew out his arm trying to compensate from a foot injury.
  21. Because team chemestry can take a flying leap, Fear the CHECKLIST~! selects Ricky Davis.
  22. I've got my own spreadsheet calculated, and here is where we stand... Pinjockey (30 points) Man In Blak (25) Smell the Ratings (24) Alkeiper (21) Yeah I stink.
  23. In regards to Angels/Twins, the problem was that there were two underdog teams in the series. There is no prevailant storyline there to get fans interested in the games.
  24. I'm definately going to run some live chats for this series.
  25. The scary thing is that looking up Hernandez and Cloude, Cloude had yet to make his pro baseball debut at Hernandez's age. Hell, Hernandez is already in AA. To even BE in AA at 18, you need to be pretty good. He's dominating,
