According to my girlfriend, who is fanatical over this film and the book series, there are a LOT of people calling for the Director's head. Supposedly the main complaint is that Bella (played by Kristen Stewart), basically lusts after Edward, (Vampire guy) in the book, like a fanatical teenage girl screaming at a boyband concert. While in the film, she comes off as a bored, nothing more than average girl, who is just in love with the guy, and nothing more. Though, I will admit, the 2 actors had amazing chemistry in the movie, and you actually believed they were in love with each other. You're always going to have people that will complain no matter what, if a film doesn't stay 100% true to the source material, though. So, I think most of the people who wanted to see this film, saw it over the weekend. I see it still being in the top 5 this weekend, but not really having much staying power.

I just finished a stream of the PPV replay. I laughed at Jerry Lawler nutting his pants over "THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT 2 WORLD TITLES HAVE EVER CHANGED HANDS AT SURVIVOR SERIES!". How quickly we forget Survivor Series 2002.

If anything, I hope WWE allows Edge to carry the Rated-R Spinner now that he's WWE Champion again. Sad thing, we're probably never going to see the pre-Spinner belt again. Joy upon joys, I can't wait for Cena to come out tomorrow with some lame spinning World title.

Regarding the earlier discussion of Orton, I've become a huge fan his lately. It's amazing what a simple change of entrance music (his is the best in WWE, IMO), and a few tattoos will do.

The only thing that's really stopped me from picking it up is the long load times after a random battle, while you're waiting to return ot the "overworld screen". That was what tipped me over into buying Infinite Undiscovery instead of Odyssey. It's a small thing, but it was enough. Now I've just got to go back and beat IU. Now that I've finished off Saint's Row 2, GoW2 and Fallout 3 I've got some time. I had been playing the holy hell out of Blue Dragon. Then I got Dead Space, and played it to death, thus putting Blue Dragon on the back-burner. Then, before I could get back to Blue Dragon, I picked up Smackdown 2009, and that's been my obsession for about a week now. What's everyone's thoughts on Blue Dragon, anyway? I love the combat system, and the music (Nobuo Uematsu-composed) is excellent. You have to love the power-metal style boss theme.

I took my girlfriend to see Twilight this afternoon. To my amazement, I wasn't the only guy in the theater. I know nothing about the book series aside from what I've overheard from her. It was an OK movie, but probably not something I would pay to see again. The girl that played Bella was very easy on the eyes, and made the movie easier to sit through. I'll go ahead and say though, that the final fight between the 2 vampires was about as anti-climactic as you can get.

Was this part of the "Spartacus" gimmick that someone decided was a good idea to give Flair?

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I have been behind Vic ever since the Kavanaugh investigation. I've been wanting him to find a way to get out of this situation so bad. It actually got a "YES!" out of me when Claudette and Dutch showed up to arrest Vic, only to find out he was untouchable. I laughed my fucking ass off when Claudette fired Dutch on the spot in her rage, and he started scrambling to save himself. Then it all came crashing down when Vic did the ultimate heel turn, and now Ronnie is going to have to burn for all the horrible things Vic has done. Vic has been no saint to her by any means, but it's a major bitch move from Corrine to be working to set him up the way she has. Still though, this is all the bad karma coming back on Vic, and as much as I like the guy, he deserves everything that's going to happen to him. How devastated is he going to be to find out he sold out Ronnie to save Corrine, and she was never in any trouble? For some reason, I see Vic putting his gun in his mouth after all is said and done. Concerning Shane and Mara, sadly, I see their fate ending-up like Bonnie and Clyde. I don't know if Shawn Ryan will go as far as to have Shane's son killed, but I see no happy ending for Shane and Mara.

Yep. Plus I hear he's good in off-television appearances, and he's training to be a road agent I believe. Of anyone, IMO, Val is a lifer in WWE. He and Tommy Dreamer work so well with new talent, I don't think WWE would want to lose them.

Someone tell me HOW IN THE WORLD IS KEVIN THORN STILL EMPLOYED?!?!?!?!?!? I love the guys work, and have become a fan of him as a person as well, through his WWE Universe blog, but the guy hasn't been used in a year or so. Either use the guy, or let him go somewhere else! I would like to think WWE has some plans for him if he hasn't been let go *yet*, but everytime I hear of releases, I honestly worry it's him.

Yea, I too wasn't sure how the Stunner, or really the Code Breaker is meant to draw blood. This is a pretty ambitious system that THQ has implemented this year, so maybe next year, they will get a little more robust with it. Maybe corner moves, submissions, or moves from the top rope.

I had a hell of a lot of fun with Create A Finisher yesterday when I picked the game up. I made a move that starts out with a punch to the gut, then you grab the guy by the throat (chokeslam clutch), raise one hand to signal to the crowd, then left the opponent into a Tombstone position. Follow this up by flipping the opponent around into a standard piledriver position, connect the hands (like a cradle piledriver), then drop down knees first. I call it the War Hammer.

It was an OK RAW: - Victoria is so underutilized it's unbelievable. She still looks great considering how much older she is than a lot of the other Divas. I just don't get the finish. If you're gonna have Victoria get her heat back after the roll-up, and get beat down by the RAW Divas, why not let her win, THEN take the beat down? That way she doesn't look like a complete jobber?! Guess we just can't have Kelly Kelly look weak can we? Really, I can't wait for Gail Kim to finally debut. You know her moveset is going to be reduced to nothing (or maybe not considering all the crazy shit *by WWE standards* that they let Evan Bourne do), but she should be able to do a lot of good matches in whatever brand she's put on. - Holy Crap at Miz and Morrison getting a clean win over Mysterio and HBK with HBK's own finisher. - I know Punk is a tag champ now and everything, but I don't get the constant loses in singles competition. Storyline wise, with the way everyone was calling him a fluke champion, it's mostly been proven true. Orton punted his head to cause him to lose his Championship without even being in the Scramble match, and Punk still get's beat by Orton somewhat cleanly (oh wow, Regal touched Punk's ankle). Then again, you couldn't have Orton lose in the match either, since he's a team captain at Survivor Series, and he needs to look strong going into the show. - File Burchill with Victoria in the "Being Criminally Underutilized" department. My thing regarding Burchill is either use the guy, or let him go. I've watched some of his old indy clips from Europe on YouTube, and the guy has more agility and power than someone of his size has a right to have. - I agree that something fishy is in the works between Jericho and Stephanie.
